..::Eirika::..
 Eirika stiffened noticeably, trying to imagine what would have happened if they hadn't won against the Demon King. She simply couldn't imagine it at all. It just seemed impossible, that they could have come to any ending different than what she had experienced herself.
She swallowed dryly, fidgeting with her hands again. "Thank you, Marina, for... telling us your story. And thank you for explaining to me about Learania."
But upon hearing Amelia speak... Eirika's face fell. She could... never go back? She'd never return to Magvel? That was... well, that was news that made her feel like she'd just been kicked in the chest by her own horse.
"...but... in our own worlds... life goes on without us, doesn't it...? I guess there isn't really any way to know..."

Ewan "Well that does seem understandable in the least. Can't exactly have a doorway without a door. If only I hadn't been messing with..." His mumbles trailed off as he lifted his head in Erika's direction. She seemed rather concerned about how life went on after their departure, which he could completely understand. However, it didn't remove the fact that he lost contact with Amelia for quite some time. It was almost as if she had vanished off the face of the planet, something that General Dussel had caused quite the uproar about. He remembered recieving the letter after return from a trip, not really understanding why she would just drop off the map like that. Dussel had theorized that it was a combination of both the stress of their campaign and meeting her mother once again. The point of the matter was, on the other side of the situation, clarity wasn't exactly something they were blessed with.
...No need to tell Erika that.
"As enlightening as this all was, I have to speak as someone from the same side as Amelia. When she vanished, life did go on. As hard as it was not knowing where she was, we all continued on as best as we could. But honestly, it kinda feels like we have a reason for being here. I'm only talking as someone who's met with a handful of transfers...But they all seem like worthwhile people. We have soldiers, fighters, experienced leaders coming over. This place has its own trouble...Yet we're finding places to start again here, new friends and new allies. I can definitely see that even with an afternoon here."
 Really, he was almost swept into his work with Cloak and his occasional involvement with Amelia's duties. As much as he missed his sister and Master dearly, it was still a chance to meet new friends and a chance to reconnect with one of his best. There was Innes and Ephy along with her to battle those feelings of homesickness, the other members of Cloak to help with the next step forward. A moment spent dwelling here was a moment that was better used making the most of it...Right?
"There's always a place where we can lend a hand, use what was earned and given to us. I'm not saying it's not going to hurt that we can't go back, that we won't really know how things are without us...But like how me and the rest continued our lives once Amelia left, we have to do the same. We have to keep going. All of us have experienced loss...But we have our friends here, even if they're not exactly the same. You still have me and Amelia, Prince Innes, and your honorable brother. We might not all be the same..But we still have something to keep us going forward."
