For a moment, it really did look like Petra was going to eat her. In her own defense, she was a feline minipet, and Ofelia was... pretty much what cats enjoyed eating. The death trainee had never personally had a cat, but there had been stray tomcat who had lived around her father's barn, and he had on occasion graced her with his presence. A proud thing, he hadn't looked anything like she did now -- his coat had been a little tattered, with gold and cream tabby stripes, where hers now was silvery white and smooth. Her father had let him stay for the soul reason of eating the mice which liked to nibble on the horses' oats. In fact, the only thing she had ever seen this cat enjoy eating more than the field mice, was her neighbor's goldfish.

In the end however, logic won out over this sudden impulse to attempt to shove the hamster-minipet down her throat.

"Is this from personal experience?" she replied in an almost robotic tone, just the barest hint of curiosity lacing her voice.

If Eris had been able to read Senga's thoughts, she probably would have agreed with him, at this very moment. Tilting her head away as he shook himself off, once again spraying snow everywhere, she felt the impulse to make a face at him, only to realize she didn't have the capacity. Which was a little frustrating, to say the least, but as she gave him a hard stare, the Protector felt it got her point across. And if it didn't, she had always been quite liberal with her outspoken tongue.

Except as Robert's tongue touched her cheek, for once in her life, Eris was completely speechless.

But it was ok, because not only did Senga rush to her defense, Robert got a taste of his own medicine.

Staring at him quite wide-eyed, Eris stood completely still even after the dog-hunter leaped back in pain, gold eyes following him as he stuck his face in the snow, followed closely by the wolf-horseman to her defense. It took a moment for her to recover, her amusement returning a little as she watched the situation with intrigue, and she tilted her head to one side, considering. Actually, if she remembered correctly, that was an affectionate gesture from a canine. Which only made her all the more curious about this hunter. The only emotions she had ever received from hunters had been either intense loathing, or callous appreciation for her human form. And they weren't mutually exclusive either. Was this... ... what was this?

Instead of facing what she could not understand, the Protector instead chose to ignore the canine, her attention instead swiveling to Senga, who seemed to have his fur a little ruffled. "Are you catching a chill?" she asked in a mildly concerned tone at his sneeze, "Of course you are welcome to ride, fret not." And, as a last-minute addition, "About this, nor that brute of a hunter. That is likely as close to a lady as he's ever been."

At this tease she couldn't help but glance over at Robert, smugness radiating like the heat from her body.

When Azure was still looking at his claws, a minis took action and ripped off the paper. He could now feel it's really cold! The wind blew in together with snow. He stepped out of the wrapping paper reluctantly because it was too cold. Azure totally couldn't adapt to this coldness even with his dense fur. He shivered a bit.

When he saw what the outside is like, his ear perked and tail straightened up.
What's going on?! eek
He was stepping on a piece of snow, he could feel the coldness slowly rose up from his feet, it was a total new experience for a wild minis who lives in forest like Azure.

He jumped onto the snow, leaving a little hole on it while kicked up some snows with him. So happy!

Well, obviously, the dense little thing didn't notice he was standing on a large large ice floe..........

Sherry was overly relieved to see that she was not alone on this bit of ice. There seemed to be several critters roaming around, just as confused as before. Or not confused, possibly.

Now seemed like it might a good time to--

A particularly energetic creature kicked up a bit of snow, rather close to Sherry's little bunny face.

"Hey now! Careful!" Sherry eyed the mini-beast, noting that it reminded the life hunter of a fox. A fox with a bow. "Who might you be?" she asked warily.

If Robert made his identity obvious to the halloween side, he definitely made it much more obvious to the hunter side, if they didn't already know.

She could hear his yelling from inside her box. Which she ripped out neatly, by the way.

"Um-- Is that you Robert? You might not want to say that to a horsemen .. since if we get out of here, we don't stand a chance." Saya tried to say, in a slightly muffled tone. "Does sleeping .. count for anything either?"

Saya made her way by Azure, jumping into pawprints with him, having dear fun in the snow. "Snow's fun!"

"Oh, um, it's not a problem, really," Sherry was pretty sure her nose twitched. My! This is a polite creature!

The voice Sherry's weapon gave warning. It seemed that she was not addressing another hunter in disguise, but something else. But what exactly?

"I'm Sherry," the bunny said to the one called Azure. "Nice to meet you, too. Um...what is a Sunekosuri, if I might ask?"

She cast a glance around at the other creatures. It was becoming clear who the other hunters were, thankfully. In fact...

"And who are you?" Sherry asked the new critter with the rainbow back jumping in the snow with Azure.

Meixiang was not amused at all at being abducted. Not one bit. She was growing fairly tired of all this minipet stuff. Well...at least being a minipet.

When she awoke she found herself inside some crinkly paper type cage. When she moved it went 'crinkle crackle crink crack', to which she soon found she could punch a hole right through with a paw. Making a tiny hole, she looked through it. Everything outside was white and what little air that came through the hole was very very cold.

Now Mei wasn't objective to cold. It was extreme cold that bothered her. But she couldn't just stay here forever. Taking a huge breath, she burst from the wrapping paper cage to land face first into a pile of snow. Her balloon body making tiny squeaks as she shivered. Man, she wished she had fur or something....

It seemed that the pretty bunny didn't mind his rude act, nice!
Em.....Sherry's question is a bit difficult for a little thing like Azure, he tilted his head and answered with a doubt tone. Azure was never a clever Sunekosuri to begin with.
"Sunekosuri is the name of my species, just like you are a dustbunny.....you haven't seen a Sunekosuri before?" He asked and looked at Sherry with a pair of innocent eyes, he is the type that you can easily cheat.

Sherry then asked Saya who she is.
It's nice to spend some time with his new friends.
Even though they might be a bit different from the minis he used to see, they are surely cool and pretty!
