Oww that had hurt. Whatever it was. On her back in the grass, groaning, Leo considered the absolute headache this was. Wait, on the grass?? Last she'd known, she been standing by the weird lockers in school after--

Ohh yes, it was all coming back to her now. But clearly, she thought as she watched the clear sky, that was not where she was anymore. Could it have been that huge wave of fear? It almost had to be, because she couldn't think of anything else that would be able to displace someone like that.

She sat up, massaging her tender head. Or, well, she tried but suddenly it seemed like her arms just weren't long enough, all eight of them--

Wait a minute.. all eight of them?! Panicked, Leo looked down, and yup, eight little legs sitting right there in the middle of downy fur. Oh. Oh. She knew the look of this body, it was like, like the fruttens she had at home!

So... she was a frutten? Leo boggled, thrown. What in all the world...

After a minute or two of being lost to the world, her practical nature returned. Well, no sense sitting about like this. It didn't even look like the school grounds.

And was that... people speaking? It sounded like speech, but oddly enough, not very people-like.

Well, it was a clue. And maybe they knew more than she did. Getting on her legs (all eight of them) proved to be a bit of a challenge, but not nearly as much as walking did. After a few tries, she found that it was easier to just concentrate on something else and let the legs do the work instinctively. This worked well enough to let her approach the others.

"Er, uh, hello?" She stopped near the other minis, but not too close, just in case.

Shehk suddenly whirled her head around to the minipet who had just spoken to her, her eyes going wide before she looked around to see if there was any other minipet it could have been po- oh jack, who was she kidding?

The minipet was talking and she couldn't help but stare in slight shock.

"Ummm...are you..talking to me...?" she asked, leaning forward than leaning back with a curious tilt in her posture.0

Lumikki smiled hey it talked...wait, she understood it. There was something slightly familiar about the mini in front of her but she couldn't quiet place it. Hearing the question her ears fell slightly,

"uh...well I hope I'm not permanently a mini...but right now I am...and I'm not really sure if I like it...it's a little smaller than my normal form...and a lot less tails..."

At the mention of tails she twirled around again trying to grab her tail. This was going to be a looooooong day if she kept trying to grab that thing every time she thought about the fact that her long bushy tails were missing. Wincing slightly she turned back to the mini,

"uh...you...your a student maybe hopefully perhaps?"

Lumikki braced herself just in case, there was an attack launched at her.

Okay, confusing. But it seemed like the pygmy fox was the same as her; someone who'd been turned into a minipet. As she watched the other chase her own tail and started opening her mouth to reply to the question, a second minipet came on the scene. And this one looked possibly even more capable of having her for breakfast than the first one did.

Right, manners. "Oh, hello. I think we're all students here?" It seemed that way at least, from it being the first question the other two had asked. Or it could be an enemy ruse to suss them out. Should've thought of that a bit sooner... "I'm Leo, usually a Mare and not a Frutten. Nice to meet you, though I guess the circumstances could've been better."

Lumikki turned slightly to see another mini come up, oooh what big teeth it had. Hearing the question she figured that perhaps they were all students, they were after all, in a tunnel earlier. Hearing the frutten she had talked to earlier state who she was Lumikki got excited.

"oh I met you in the tunnel...did you open a locker too?"

Whimpering sligtly when she realised that the items she had in the tunnel were now missing, huffing she turned towards the other mini,

"...are yoooou a student? I'm Lumikki."

More and more minipets seemed to be stirring awake. He didn't recognize any of them, and none of them answered to the names. Where were they? Where was he?

Pressed tight against the tree trunk, that's where.

Lumikki bounced about happily, so the other ghoul hadn't opened a locker, well that didn't really help in her assestment of what happened. Well might as well make the best of it, she rolled over happily,

"have you tried to get closer to the water? I tried to get closer and that mean mini glared at me...."

She complained in a whiny voice as she snuggled down in the grass.

It was enough to dislodge Harrison, who twisted midair before latching a claw into the trunk.

He slid down, leaving a long scar of wood shavings before they caught, and he dangled stupidly in midair before hissing and struggling to dislodge himself. He ended up, miraculously, on all four feet, although by that time every hair he had was straight up.

"What the hell was that for, you ******** idiot, you almost got me- ********, why am I talking to a minipet. Watch where you're going," he growled.
