"Well, dad always did say you shouldn't sleep with someone unless they have books" Ike teased "and it appears you have an entire library." Walking up to the books and coffie, Ike picked up the mug, swirled, and drank. "Hmm, the coffie isn't enough stale to have been here for more than a few hours. Nice blend, doesn't taste like anything I've ever bought... Did you grow it yourself?" He gazed the pile she'd stacked next to the coffie, then glanced at the open book seeing the strange symbols only long enough to be startled when Kiara took away the book. He glanced at her curiously, the glance being enough to ask about the pile of books she'd had stacked there.

"Imported every morning from Columbia, compliments of Grandpa," may he rest in peace, she added silently, explaining, and gently setting the books back with the others. She answered hos questioning look, "I spend a lot of time here, these are some of my personal favorites that I like to keep on hand."

Ike stood there, staring into the depths of what he could not understand, He became confused having to remind himself Don't be a pawn in her game Trying to bear that in mind he asked "So what did happen to Grandpa?"

She shrugged, absently flipping through the book he had picked up, it was written in elvish, "He did what most elves do after 1000 years, he ended it."

Your Uncle Grandpa Now curious, Ike dared ask "As much as it goes against my nature, this time I must ask." He prepared himself for any and all ridicule "Exactly how old are you?" Quickly remembering "Oh and of coarse, where does the vampire come into play here?"

"By my count about 300," again she shrugged, "My mother was a vampire, and my father an elf, I'm the product. There's not more to it." She set her book down, and looked at him.

He finished the mug of cold coffie, the taste sliding down his throat. He walked over until he'd been within less than an arm's reach of Kiara. "Well then..." He'd said, hating to derail the tour any further.

"This whole floor is library, and there's an office space in the back." she left heading past the third floor, "Guest bedrooms," she explained, before going to the fourth and final floor, "This is the only place I won't allow you to be without permeation. Most of this floor is my room, and the rest is my office," she looked him in the eye, "Never come up here unless I tell you you may." She led him back down, "You are fee to explore anywhere you would like, you haven't seen the grounds yet. Dinner is at 6. Anything you'd like to ask?"

"Fine," they went back up to the fourth floor, and she stopped at a set of huge towering double doors, "Welcome to my room." she said opening them to revel the master bedroom.

There was something about the way she opened those doors that took him off balance. He felt a severe tempurature change, it had jumped to a steady eighty degrees, from the fifty that he'd felt in the hall. The Devil in flesh, thought Ike as he followed her inside... He looked at the room vicariously, trying to come into her mindset. Dark carpeting mixed with that Obsidion tile again, and there were lots of doors... One dungeon style door that rang out in his mind the most... He also noticed a big couch that ran in the room, it was very fluffy looking. He had the desire to see more, but he knew he would... all in due time. "You're right... It's by far the nicest of the rooms yet. I do love it." Checking his watch it was almost 6, time to eat.

"Before he died, Grandpa, made sure there was a room designed to fit my tastes," she smiled slightly, "Some of these rooms are quite interesting." SHe watched him glance at his watch, "Hungry?" she asked.

He smirked back and said "Well if you so generously offer, then I'd be happy to eat; my dearest Kiara." He thought for a second, "Your grandfather seemed like a generous man, it's crazy to think that from someone so generous came someone so... dirty" he retorted this because of their earlier exchange. He didn't think it'd bother her, but he'd not be surprised if it did.

She laughed, "You'd be surprised at who my grandfather was, his people can be just as dirty as you put it as my mother's. And I meant real food," she corrected him.
