Zarud Helviiryn [Genin] - [Taijutsu] - [Kumogakure] - [Smoke Shifter]
Jumping down Zarud headed into combat and straight for Sesame with an axe kick. Thanks to the long fall Zarud's momentum would make his attack very dangerous and even if he should miss his attack would distract Sesame and release the statue again.

[Ratsu] knew how to deal with ninjutsu, as he had to avoid it more than anything. He had noticed the water puddles on the ground, which shouldn't have been there given the scenario, and immediately found the reaction to dodge, switching to Dust Eater to duck under and dodge the liquid chains, the lower ones following and inch behind him as he continued his attack on Rei, changing his strategy to an upward thrust from the low position of his Dust Eater stance.

(You're a Genin. You should only have one weapon style available for use, even if you knew them when you died.)

 Lost I am lost, Not knowing where you came from, nor where you will go.
Rei smiled, she was unable to see far thanks to the fog, but the chains and
fast movement helped her pinpoint a target, but he was too fast even for her,
so she had a plan. She could see the man appear through the mist and she
jumped back, but she was unable to jump far enough Ratsu's blade to cut
along her chest, but she was not out. In fact the attack helped her, due to the
speed the man used, she spun 360 degrees right after the attack hit her and she come up with a uppercut.

Zonbi Followed Rad into hiding and crouched down to stay hidden and watch the fight progress. He was worried about getting caught in the cross fire so he would try and avoid fighting until it was necessary.

He hoped to not have to use his super powerful water techniques, relying on manipulation and weaker ones alone for this battle. But if push came to shove...he would show them what it means to be a Senju. He extended his hands, allowing his natural--and potent--ability to manipulate water in the air show itself. Rei would soon find that her fist didn't impact Ratsu's chin. It had hit a mass of water floating in the air underneath him. As long as her fist traveled, there was the ever-present water to block her. This would probably slow her punch down significantly, allowing Ratsu ample time to dodge.
However...Nova wasn't done with her. He held his palms out at his sides, and ten water shuriken formed without him doing much of anything. With a wave of his hand, they all soared at Rei in a scattered pattern, making it more difficult to dodge if she decided to. The shuriken themselves were as powerful as an S-ranked attack; this was the strength of Nova's water release techniques. And the technique he'd used was initially Genin-ranked. The question now was...what would happen if he used a Jounin-ranked technique?

Rad saw the horror unfolding before him. That water user. What kind of a monster was he. To control that statue he could probably kill every one of them if it met his whimsy. Rad would like to say he was strong, but most of his strength came from having a fun time. Nothing fun could come from there. Rad stayed watching with a family of genjutsu people from behind the cart. No chunnin would run into that fray unless their mission was to commit suicide.

In the midst of it all, he would appear. A man in a black suit. He was very professional looking, middle-aged with dark but slightly grayed hair. He placed his hand up towards the air and every attack would freeze in place. Vision would clear and everything would become unobstructed if any smoke or mist was in the air. Everybody would find themselves stuck in place. "Watching you all has certainly been a pleasure, but it is time we wrapped this portion up. I see you found the sculpture I placed and decided to use it. Clever, but risky." He looked at all the bodies of the emulated civilians on the ground. "Poor fellows." He reached into his jacket and retrieved the same firearm he used to test Ahri in district I. "I will be releasing the genjutsu and you will awaken in your pods. There will be a bit of food in them if you are hungry, however, you will not be able to exit them. Stay in them while the next testing environment is created." After this, he systematically pointed the pistol at every participant's head, and pulled the trigger. They would all feel a chunk of metal enter their skulls and then wake up in their pods.
