Jay listened attentively to the head priestess as she spoke. Ahh, so that was why. That was why they were so close to Amityville. Things made a little bit more sense to her now. She shot a sideways glance to Senga. He said nothing. His expression barely changed. A small smile. How unsurprising.
Her face lit up with childish glee when she saw the image of a pine forest. Trees. The Human World. It was nostalgic in a way. When was the last time she had been here? Her footsteps were quiet and smooth, natural. The warrior’s attention was naturally drawn to the soft crackle and glow of a nearby fire. A smile slowly spread across her lips. Jay’s eyes grew wide when she saw the familiar splash of white and glowing weapons. Her eyes sparked with enmity. Naturally, she reached toward a familiar face—Senga. There were no words as both of them locked onto the same hunter. She grinned.

Perhaps a more direct approach was needed now, not just some simple.. field of gravity. Yes, that probably would make Cym rather content to see, would it not?
With that, the Heir summoned his bow...

What was more invigorating than watching humans suffer was watching his own suddenly grow hungry in their taste of FEAR. The way they flourished. It brought a surge of energy to the protector as he drew back the string of his bow and released it in one fluid motion.

A single boot lashed out kicking the hunter backwards itno the ranks of waiting Horsemen, she did not wait to see who would reach out next to the hunter, a single beat of crow black wings sent her tumbling into the hunter again, axes biting at flesh as cold eyes watched on passing silent, and violent judgement.

Lily shared a giddy little smirk with no one in particular as she fired another arrow down upon the unfortunate hunter, they tried to defend themselves. But it was really all for naught. They weren't going to win. They knew it and she knew it and the fear of being conquered was really quite exquisite to watch.

Fai scowled as he looked around the campsite, wondering how he could have forgotten how good it was to be in the human world. When he saw even Invi attacking one of the humans, he couldn't help but join in. Or perhaps it was Precious that couldn't help but join in. The closest head to the human shot out, taking a large bit from his FEAR shield.
"Well..." Fai said, his black eyes widening. "That was very satisfying."

It had been a while since she had stepped into the Human World. It had been a while since she attacked a human. Jay relinquished her brief hold on Senga. It was more of a lingering touch, actually. Her dagger had already materialized into her empty hand. The corners of her mouth twisted into a feral smile while she gripped her bladed weapon. The warrior was excited, her eyes tightly locked onto her prey. Prey. The word brought her immense delight. It took a lot of effort to contain the energy bubbling within her as she silently stepped through the forest. Her gaze occasionally flicked to the side to watch the other horsemen take on the other hunters. She could recognize a few faces, which brought another smile to her face.
Jay’s hold on her weapon loosened. For a moment, it seemed as if the war horsewoman was going to drop her dagger. But instead, her grip tightened again and she lifted her arm. She wiped the grin off her face and her gaze grew sharp. Everything disappeared as she focused on one thing, that hunter. Hate hate hate. Her arm swung and she let go of her dagger, the blade slicing the air until it embedded itself into the human. Twittering laughter left her lips when his pained yell reached her eyes. Jay reached forward to roughly pull out the dagger. There was more giggling as she dared to look back, searching for that familiar wolf pelt. “Senga~”

"Senga~"
The call was like a siren's lure to him, pushing and mangling his self control as he caught the scent of blood in the air and Jay's grin. He was so used to her now as simply a friend, a sparring partner, as Jay that he sometimes forgot her true potential. She was a skilled warrior, and she lusted for hunter blood just as much as he did, making her his kin, making him feel glad that they could work in tandem together now like they did, even though back on the War Isle, they'd only known chasing each other around as children with toy swords. The young executioners eyes lifted to the other horsemen fighting; some he knew, and some he didn't. Some that urged along discomfort in his gut, and some that were simply ghosts in memory to him.
His eyes drew back to Jay, and relinquishing all hold he had on his self control, he grinned at her, smiling like a wolf and filled with hunger that couldn't be sated so easily by just one hunter. But it had to be a start. He lunged after her, his wings giving him an easy leap into the fray. He'd almost forgotten the smell of blood and the surge of power rushing through him as he found prey again, prey weakened by Jay and cut open by her dagger. It all led to a sickeningly sweet rush of adrenaline straight to his skull, a shot of excitement that he'd never truly, truly felt before. The strike was uncontrolled but skilled, and he buried the dagger into the Hunter up to its very hilt, ears pricked to the sound of frantic heartbeats and the steady drip of blood. He left it there for a long moment, relishing in the feel of a Hunter's life in between his claws.
Kill the monsters. The voices rose out of the static in the back of his mind with fever, shouting and chanting and howling to him all at once. Kill the monsters, kill them all!
Senga pulled the dagger out and stepped back, near to Jay, his breath heavy as he stared at the chaos around them, his body high on adrenaline, a need for more, more, more! brittle and like poison in his skin. He knew that this one at their feet wasn't quite dead yet, but Senga was in no hurry. None at all. His eyes turned to the bluejay, and smiling, he bowed his head slightly. We make a good team. The words didn't have to be said out loud for them to get through. Senga had never been much of a fan of talking, after all.

Lily took great delight in watching their fear shield crumble around them as it took another direct hit from her unrelenting arrows. So helpless without that which makes them so damn special. They were nothing under the heel of a horseman. Absolutely nothing but an obnoxious insect.
She could barely feel her own injuries in the heat of battle, did they really matter at this point? She'd already shown them she was superior. That they were superior. No human was, especially not a human with some pathetic little toy protecting them.

Mengyao was having far too much fun with this. He supposed he should have shown a little more decorum, what with everyone around him being a member of different clans, but the fact remained that these were hunters.
And he was going to crush them beneath his feet and the hooves of his mount.
Another volley of arrows were released, Mengyao feeling more than a little satisfied when they all made their target, and he let out his breath in a low, amused hiss, a smirk crossing his lips.

Senga’s smile drew out an even wider grin from the blue jay. He was smiling. Senga was smiling. It did not matter that the smile was wolfish, filled with feral hunger. Jay wouldn’t have been surprised if her expression mimicked his. She snapped her wrist and flicked her dagger, sending tiny droplets of red to the dirt. She took her sweet time as she gradually stepped toward the hunter again. Her expression seemed calmer now with a satisfied smile, but the gleam in her eyes implied otherwise. She wasn’t done yet, not in the least. Jay ran a finger down the blade of her dagger and stared at the blood.
She had almost forgotten how weak humans were. Almost, but it all came back to her now. The bright red of blood that freely flowed through their fragile bodies. The sweet crack of bones snapping. Muddled memories began to sharpen, revealing crisp images of her time in the Lairs. “Ahhh~ I’ve really missed this,” she murmured in a low voice as she rested a hand on Senga’s shoulder. Jay returned the bow with a curt nod of her own. She knew what he meant to say, but never did—and she let it go. She didn’t call him out on it. They were a good team. It was fact, something gradually pieced together over the years, starting when they were little fillies.
Jay hummed and knelt down. She lowered her head and shoved the hunter over. He groaned and reached for his weapon. Jay felt nothing from the retaliatory blow. “Don’t lose consciousness just yet, okay? You need to be awake for the finale.” Smiling, she brought down her blade a second time.

The remaining Hunter did not hesitate, even when struck and beaten down, reaching for a small device -
- His cell phone, frantically flipping it open, pressing what seemed buttons at random-
- "It is fine." Medea intercepted the horsemen's insatiable blood lust for just a second longer, her own eyes glimmering with anticipation, "Let them call the others. Let them know that we mean to fight a war."
The human coughed, spitting blood, drawing his face into a grimace of laughter. "You will get a war, you ******** b***h, you and all your kind who slaughtered us, you will get your just desserts."
The High Priestess had heard enough. She simply nodded, letting her kind continue forwards, letting her kind take their revenge. It was anything but bittersweet. OOC - Attacks can continue on as normal, this is just a small rp reaction post

Eris smiled, an indulgent, almost loving smile as she stared down at the hunter who addressed Medea, her eyes lingering on the spattered blood pattern staining his blindingly white coat.
"Sing sweetly more of that lullaby~" she crooned to him, the words dissolving into a crackle of fire as her gold dagger shifted to her full-length sword.

Despite the rage which blazed within her heart, Eris had not rushed forward to join her kin as they descended upon the unsuspecting hunters, standing poised just behind the high priestess of Death. Moving not for the subtle rustle of a breeze tugging at her hair and skirts, her expression echoed a serenity which was unheard of for the passion-inspired horsewoman, her eyes sliding carefully in a slow arc around the carnage. So far, she had been surprisingly calm, exercising an unheard of amount of restraint as the battle waged around her. The clash of weapons, sounds of skin and sinew torn away from bone filled the air, and the Protector had merely watched, as if admiring something pretty, like a lush garden. She stood, and merely breathed in the sweetness of the battle, rejuvenated by the bloodlust and destruction of the people she truly, deeply, passionately despised with every fiber of her being.
It was not until the one, one of the few who still drew breath, spoke that she was moved to action. And even then, it was slow, lazy, as if she had little care in the world.
This was her domain. He spoke of war as if it were something for them to fear, something they should run and cower from.
It made her smile.
The sounds of her stilettos were not quite the clicking of horses hooves as she crossed the distance towards the third hunter, muffled by grass and shifting gravel, but it would have to do. Lifting her sword as if it weighed no more than a stick or a rock, she swung it in a lazy sweep in front of her, slicing a thin, bleeding line along his chest, gold blade stained just a tinge red at the tip. He backed up, stumbling away from the sharp edge, and she followed with a casualness that was almost eerie. The serenity she had held in her gaze was ebbing, now, fire beginning to leak into her eyes as she stalked forward, belaying the strike of his weapon with her own. Another flick of her wrist, and she nicked his shoulder, further degrading the white coat, more blood trickling from the wound.
She was playing with him.

Just desserts? Was this fool Hunter for real, son?
If he wanted to talk about a slaughter, well, Mmur had a couple of islands on the other side of a door with a swirl on it to show him... no, wait. No he didn't.
The soldier laughed as he struck again. And again. And maybe a third time.
