Somehow Nix had passed out at the Hilltop while talking to Garry, she must've pushed herself too far. She wasn't sure how long she was out for but a text from Soji woke her up. It was to the entire Investigation Team to meet up at his house as soon as they could. There was one other thing she found when she woke up, a blue rose that was left on her schoolbag. Did that man leave it behind for her even though she fell asleep, mid-conversation? Nonetheless the girl safely placed it in her bag before leaving the hilltop. Whatever rest she got was enough to make her feel a bit better. Maybe the others wouldn't figure out her lack of sleep now.

A bus ride and some walking later Nix ended up outside of the Dojima Residence. Being near this place brought back memories of when she lost her home and was brought here by Minori. Faust, Kusuri, Amelia, and Soji were there that day as well.. The few who had to witness her breakdown after being asked about the explosion at her home. It wasn't a pretty sight but at least she was able to get some of the weight off her shoulders. Though only those few knew that part of the secrets she kept locked away.

Now she was going to be here with the entire Investigation Team, possibly to talk about what happened last night. Nix would have to do her best to make herself useful or at least not make herself fade into the background. These were her teammates, there was no reason to be afraid of them. Right? ".. But what if I don't know anything useful?.. At least I can tell them the news on Genji but they might know already." The snowy haired girl muttered to herself as she hesitated to enter the house. Soji was a kind person and she knew she could trust him but.. 'Dammit.. I need to stop thinking about.. them.' After shaking the doubt from her mind she reached out to knock on the door, it would be rude to walk right in.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader
"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"

An unusual day had dawned upon the leader of the Investigation Team; that in and of itself was saying something, given how unusual the silver-haired young man's 'usual' days had grown to be. When crossing swords with deities and delving into fantastical worlds while using impossible, physics-defying powers summoned from the depths of your very mind was normal, it was pretty much anybody's guess as to what sort of craziness would constitute abnormal under such a condition. As it turns out, however, abnormal in the eyes of Soji Seta was something of an average and altogether boring day. Though he certainly couldn't call it underwhelming. In the morning he had been greeted by a blond more energetic and full of confidence, life, and even bashfulness (when he had recovered from the shock of the surprise tackle hug and offered her breakfast made for the two of them, she had even seemed taken aback for a moment and shied away...before nomming down) than he could recall from his more recent memories. That was surprising, but not unwelcome. Maybe it was the battle against her Shade (about which he had heard precious little compared to what he wished to know), or something she had figured out thereafter, but he could not deny that there was something about her this morning that shined. Green eyes smiled at him brightly, grateful for his belief in her amongst other things, and he almost didn't understand since he had really always believed in her. Nothing he had done the night before would change her opinion drastically, would it? He hadn't even been there for the battle against the Shade...though he had believed in them, even as he fought the abomination that had once been Naoki Konishi's shadow. Perhaps his thoughts had reached her. Or maybe they hadn't. All he knew was that he loved this side of her that was vibrant and full of life, and he wanted to protect it. ...Other than that, however, his day had indeed been more boring than advertised. Everyone was busy, sleeping, or otherwise unable to spend a little bit of time on the phone with him to update him on the things that he had missed. Things in battle, personal things, whatever the case might have been...he wanted to know what his friends were up to. And more importantly, they needed to consolidate what they knew so far about their newest foes...for if the battle was picking up again, they would need to be prepared. Shades were terrifying enough on their own, but if Hetero was making his own move, creating monsters of equivalent terror and power to fight against him directly...he wanted to know the goings on about the town.

That was why, as the afternoon began to melt into evening and the hours of the free Sunday dwindled towards twilight...after another late-night call from his uncle ensuring him that another dinner would be eaten by his lonesome (and Minori if she were to join him)...he flipped open his phone and shot a probing text out to as many of the members of his team as he could reach in a single call. Some might not have been able to talk to him earlier when it was just him poking about for answers, but by calling an official gathering of the team, he hoped they could peel themselves away from whatever distractions had their attention and come together the way that they used to. Meetings were great for sharing information, but there was a secondary purpose that was just as important...for themselves, and for himself as well, down to the very power that fueled his personae. It was a chance to speak to the members of the team and get to know them, to know how they thought, and to understand them before you went into battle and put your life in their hands. Even now, months after the new generation had begun to join them, he felt an insufficient connection between some of the members of the team and others. He alone could only manage his own bonds and bring them together, but it was up to them to forge links amongst themselves that would give them strength. Not being able to work together rightly was a weakness they couldn't afford right now...and even if there were aspects of their personalities that made it tough for one member of the team to hang out with another, they needed to reach an understanding.

...But then again, maybe he just wanted to have a bit of fun? With exams towards the middle of July and his studying through the break for his college entrance exams, they hadn't been able to truly get together as a team and celebrate the inclusion of their newer members, their reunion for another case at the start of the Fall, or anything. They hadn't even had the chance to break open that watermelon Dojima still had chilling in the fridge to consummate the promise they had made to one another last summer, when he hadn't even known he would be here for it. Now he was...and it was time they spent a little precious time getting to know one another again before things got hectic once more. It was with that in-mind that the ashen-eyed teen had just finished putting the finishing touches on the largest batch of curry he had ever had the pleasure of making for the whole of their massive team. He had needed no less than three large pots to make what he believed would be enough for all of them...each of them with a variance in spice that ranged from mild to spicy to hot...but even he hadn't had enough time or skill to whip up anything more complicated for such a large group on short notice. It was with that thought in mind that he had begrudgingly placed a delivery call to Aiya's and dug into his treasure-trove of TV World loot to pay for quite a few meals worth of nikudon and special beef bowl. Once again he marveled at the convenience of it all...delivery any time, anywhere...and wondered how on Earth Aika managed to make all of those runs in time without ever muttering a complaint. ...Well, some mysteries were better left unsolved, he supposed. And with the first knock at his door having come just as he turned the heat on the last of the curry pots down to a simmer, the delivery's arrival only a few minutes past had come not a moment too soon.

Wiping his hands on a small towel, he set it on the counter and brushed away some crumbs of ingredients from his white, long-sleeved shirt casually before making his way over towards the door and lacing his fingers with the handle, sliding it open in a casual motion. Normally, he would have checked to see who was on the other side of the door before opening it all the way...but with him expecting guests any minute and yesterday's ordeal behind him, he supposed he was safe to push his luck. He also would have noticed the rather large streak of white flour still clinging to his left cheek before he went to the door (remnants of an earlier meal he had made for Nanako before she left for the night), but hey, even he had off-nights, right?

Fortunately, it was no intruder on the other side of the door, but Nix Gallen, the snow-capped Senior who he had heard spent a fair portion of the night and day keeping watch over their fallen teammate in the hospital. He appreciated that, since he hadn't had the energy to do so himself after last night's battle. ...For all the quick bluster of his fight and the emphatic finish, he still bore a few nasty black bruises upon his already-badly scarred chest and ribs from where that thing had hit him before he got his bearings. He did his best not to wince as he smiled, warmly, and motioned the girl into the house and towards the living room, detouring himself back into the kitchen to pop the lids on the last of the bowls he had brought in from Aiya's.

"Make yourself at home," he offered easily, dancing from the nikudon to the beef bowls and back over towards his curry to taste-test the spicy pot...a chef clearly at home in his culinary environment. It almost made one wonder if this sort of thing was what the Investigation Team Leader might be interested in doing after his graduation. ...Though for them, with all their enemies, graduation still seemed a long ways off even for the eldest of them (with the exception of the ageless wonder Crowley) "I made three flavors of curry for everyone, and I splurged a little of my savings on Aiya's for anyone who doesn't like curry. Old Man Aiya really outdid himself this time..." Soji smirked over his shoulder, his praise naturally landing on anybody other than himself, "...also, if you answer the door, be gentle with it. I had to remount it this morning, and the hinges are still loose..."

He didn't bother to explain why. That story and more could come later. ...After they had a bit of fun and a meal, together. Nobody would ever accuse him of being a poor host. ...In fact, he was almost unusually serious about that fact. Evidence enough of that rested upon his stove-top and the counter, amongst other things...

Faustus Necromonium and Kusuri Keiraku
"So this is where you wandered off, Nix." a certain, purple haired girl's voice called out over Nix's shoulder, Kusuri's arms folded ever so slightly. "We were worried, you know?"
"Evening Seta-Senpai. Nix-san." Faust's voice called out after Kusuri's, taking in the view of Soji's place, and all of the food. He really must have splurged to get this much....And he had a feeling none of it would be left by morning. Such was the way of the world....
"Been a while since we've all really gotten together.." Faust muttered to himself lightly, walking about with a slight air of confidence.

"Lemme know if you need some help with that Curry, Seta." Kusuri's voice called out, apparently still putting on a show of being very much upset with Nix, though she was just relieved to have found her. And it would be a fun way to kill the time until everyone else showed up..

Rednal

Burgle-flicking blits. Rednal thought to himself as he used a pair of crutches to hop up the drive and into the house. There was not, strictly speaking, anything wrong with his legs. However, a large part of his body had suffered severe injuries the night before, and he'd decided to play it safe. Besides, it wasn't like he was a stranger to health and hospital equipment, and his poker face was doing just fine as he entered the Dojima's living room. "Before anyone asks, I'm fine." he said brightly. "I just need a little more time to finish healing, and I figured I'd take it easy until then." Shameless hedonism for the win. He'd really have preferred to stay home and rest all day, but when Soji called, the Investigation Team answered. Even if they were still recovering from grievous injuries. Of course, if that would have been enough to stop Rednal, he'd have given up a long time ago. Injuries were a fact of life, and he'd chosen to acquire them.

Kisa

Resting quietly in the corner, on the other hand, was a figure moderately familiar to at least some of the Investigation Team. The odd tattoo-covered girl certainly wasn't part of their group, and it wasn't immediately obvious why she was there. Soji, at least, would probably have no trouble figuring things out. The night before had been an unusually violent one in Inaba, and Kisa had decided to keep watch over the area in case this particular night got troublesome as well. You couldn't be too careful when dealing with deities and demons, after all...

"Wooaahh, somebody looks messed up. Have fun wrestling those bulls?" Yosuke chimed in as Rednal warded against anybody worrying about him as usual. For once Yosuke managed to show up early, a feat that seemed to be getting rarer and rarer since his father wanted to shove so much of Junes' workload on him. It didn't help that break had just ended, which meant he'd just spent the last couple weeks tending to a bunch of country kids who had nothing better to do than visit their local grocer. Just being able to take a jab like this, and get involved in the Investigation again for a change was already making him perk up from his long hiatus of booooredom. "You know, next time you should probably bring a capote. You're no use to anyone if you're full of holes.'' Yosuke said with a snicker, though that was probably the last of it. It wasn't like taking a jab or two hurt anything, but Rednal probably didn't feel that good after a night full of fighting Shadows. Hence, the crutches.

Yosuke moved to the center of the living room as he took a seat around the table, folding his arms in wait. There were only a couple of them now, but he'd put out a call or two himself, so before long most of the team would be appearing and this place was going to get pretty stuffed; it was best to find a place to relax now. And since it sounded like a rough night fell on most of them, there were a few habitual skippers who needed to know when to cut work for the sake of their friends, damn it. N-not that he had skipped work for this, mind you. He had the day off already! Though, he'd been making sure to give himself less and less work hours lately, partly due to some plans he had. He might even be able to say goodbye to his wage-slave life before long...partly...he hoped. "Oh man, just saying the word curry causes me to break out in a cold sweat. I-I think I'll try some of the stuff from Aiya's instead." Yosuke said, his hand moving towards the stuff Soji hadn't prepared. It wasn't that the head of the Investigation Team couldn't cook, buuuut...well, he was sure he'd understand.

"And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"

Aleister Crowley

"Lets all...remember our homework...ughgh!!!!" Crowley rolled and hit the ground as his crutch slipped out from under him, the neck brace wearing, cast covered, generally less well to do member of last night's battle letting out a bit of an embarrassed chuck as he lay on the ground for a moment in um...well, not so good a situation. Even now it seemed like he didn't want to be trouble, so he took a minute to roll over (the stiff casts made it hard for him to bend his arms and push his way up), before getting up once more and moving over towards the couch. "I'm just going to take a minute to rest. Last night was such a mess...first there was that whole Shade thing, and then I tried to cast a healing spell on Genji and..." Crowley's eyes snapped wide and he sweatdropped as he started to talk about what had happened after the battle, perhaps shedding some light on his wounds. After all, the Shade hadn't got him that badly on it's own, did it? "N-nevermind. It's better if we never talk about that again. Eheheheh..." Just as the magician laughed however, a sudden chill filled the air, and Crowley's winced again with a noticeable sweatdrop as a rasping knock clicked on the door. "D-don't open it! I mean...it's probably nothing! Absolutely nothing. We'll all be find if we just stay here, and let it walk away...I-I mean him! Her! Whoever your mailman is!" Crowley seemed rather frantic, so it might have been best for the Investigation Team to listen to him. As for the other person in the room, meanwhile...

Kisa

"...I'll take care of it." Kisa said quietly, rolling a bit so she could push herself up to her feet as an ominous feeling swept over the area. Her eyes had opened as soon as the sense swept over the house, and with no hesitation at all, she headed over to the door. Part of her wanted to blow it off its hinges to hit whatever was out there, but Soji would probably be upset with her if she did that. It was a bit contrary to her usual nature at times like this, which was to blast the enemy and not give them enough time to react... but, in light of the circumstances, she opted for just opening the door and stepping outside while staying on her guard for whatever was out there. Whether it was just a joke or a serious threat, she had no intention of running away. Protecting Soji was, after all, the reason she'd come to his house again today.

It seemed that whatever had been knocking on the doorway had started to leave in those few seconds before Kisa opened the door, but as she did, it's power could be felt once more nearby, showing that it hadn't quite left yet. The power radiated from an unusual shape that seemed to be moving past a house and further down the road, almost as if beckoning for her to follow.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader
"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"

Though he had seen some of them around the school the day before, it was still a relief and a pleasure to see so many of his good friends filing in through his front door for the first time in weeks. Summer had been a chore after the break began, and even the time of peace had given him little chance to relax and truly enjoy some free time with the friends who made this town the one place he knew he would always come home to. Now many of them were here, coming into the house in various fashions. Faust seemed a bit more confident than he remembered, and Kusuri was a little more open as well, offering to help him with the curry if he were in need. His smile was small but warm, greeting her request by waving her off in that easy way he often had about him. He might have gladly accepted a hand about an hour or half an hour earlier, but now the curry was already finished and simply waiting to be served to those who wanted it. Idly, he wondered what flavor the two halves of that couple would enjoy most, even as another Junior hobbled through the door in what looked to be less-than-stellar shape. He knew that feeling...though if somebody had cast a Diarahan on him, he should have been mostly healed up by now, shouldn't he? His nod towards Rednal was a simple incline of his head, before looking out towards the living room and an end of the couch that remained unfilled. Temporary-cripples should have dibs on the cushions, he thought with a wry smirk before adding, "How do you take curry?" The others could get their own when they wanted...but at the least he could get some for the guy on crutches. "We have nikudon and the Aiya's special, too." Why not have options, after all?

Gatherings could never be too simple, though. Not for the Investigation Team.

It was about that time that Yosuke made his way into the kitchen with an ominous comment about curry that made his stomach tumble and threaten to rebel against the mere mention of what had once been twisted into something lethal. Only the fact that he had made it himself and confirmed the taste beforehand made him willing to still eat it; his uneasy smirk reflected the sour memory they both shared, nonetheless. "If you want beef, you should take some before Chie arrives," the teen added to lighten the suddenly heavy air about the dinner, driving back memories of inedible witch-brew curry and replacing them with the current totally-edible meal before them. And taking a jab at their martial arts enthusiast pal in the midst was a good way to change the subject. Speaking of which...where had she been lately? And Kanji for that matter...Naoto, and...his thoughts shifted again towards other members of their initial team. Rise had been scarce of late, but she had stayed in contact with him via the phone at least. And then there was Yukiko...would she come tonight? Somewhere inside of him a hope stirred that he would see her, that they could talk together; somehow, the thing that he looked forward to most in the end was just making her smile. ...If she were to perhaps inquire towards the proper method of making curry in the meantime, well, that was just a plus for everyone. But that wasn't his motivation! Really...he just missed her, that was all. He really did miss her...

...No sooner had his mind drifted than Yosuke was already nomming down on some Aiya's and Kisa was moving from her perch in the corner towards the door in response to...was that some sort of power outside? He was tempted to follow and take a look, but she hadn't appeared all that worried when she left. And there were no powers flaring outside in the moments after her departure, so he left it at that for now. As much as he wanted to follow and keep an eye on her, he knew she could take care of herself...and he had called this meeting for a reason. To consolidate information, to rest, to laugh...and his first chuckle came courtesy of Crowley's strange entrance and reaction to the door Kisa passed through without incident. Was there really something out there, or was he just acting like a spaz for no reason? With someone like that old alchemist, there really was no way of knowing for sure...but at least being around the older man was always interesting! "I wonder if I made enough..." the Senior mused quietly with a finger at his chin, glancing between the various curries and the bowls he had ordered from Aiya's. Quickly, surely, his team was growing in numbers...to the point that feeding them now was pretty damn expensive on his own. But there was a certain satisfaction he got out of it, particularly the bits that he made with his own hands. ...Did he really like cooking for people? Maybe...could it be that this was what he wanted to do after high school? Career evaluation forms were due any day now, and he hadn't even glanced at his over the break. Maybe this was a sign...but, well, he could worry about all of that when the battles were over. With the world on the line, everything else could take a backseat to what was really important.

His fight...his power...but more than anything, (Yukiko...Rise...) his friends.

"Hey Soji." Zeo nodded towards the head of the Investigation Team as he walked past the kitchen and into the living room. As if on queue, the sound of a small explosion, almost like a door being blown off it's hinges, came from the entrance way, yet for some reason Zeo didn't even bat an eyelash. "I'll pay for that." The fact that a second later a couple butlers came strolling in and started handing presents to everyone must have come as a surprise, at least so far in as they hadn't expected that exact thing to come through the door...the fact that he was going to take the door down was probably normal by now, though. "I figured everyone could use a get well present, so I spent all last night picking out some specialties for you guys. There's a cashmere sweater for Nix, a two-piece swimsuit for Kusuri, I got you these swim trunks Soji..." Zeo waved as various presents were handed out, and the excess hands funneled out just as quickly when they were done with their part. Zeo was leaning against the wall next to the television, and had a cool, totally making an impression on the ladies that made them go 'Kyaa~' look that said he had planned this all beforehand. "And babes, don't worry. I can guarantee they're to size. The Three-Sizes Scanner returns." Zeo said, winking and making the motion of pulling a trigger after he aimed at Kusuri's heart. Yup, it had been a while since anyone had asked him about his ridiculous ability to figure out girl's three sizes at a glance, but the fact that he had it was one of the things that showed his dedication...to being a pervert. "Also, if all the ladies would line up on the left, I have a special present for you all!" Zeo said, holding a box in front of his waist. What could be inside that mysterious wrapped goody? Why was he holding it so low? What mystical, magical powers awaited them all inside that blue wrapping paper covered cubic box of goodness? Who kneeeeeewwww...? "Heh, step one...cut a hole in the box." Zeo mumbled to himself, as if remembering something.

Nix stepped into the house after Soji invited her in, her nerves settling down after the warm welcome. Seeing the set up of food caught her by surprise, he really put a lot of effort into this meeting didn't he? "Thank you, Soji-san.. If there's anything I can do to help please let me know. Oh and I'll be careful with th-" A sudden chill went down the girl's spine when Kusuri and Faust arrived. Somehow she had forgotten that by the whole team coming together they would be there too after she left their home. The snow haired girl turned to look at Kusuri, a apologetic smile on her face. "A.. Actually I went somewhere else before coming here. I'm sorry for causing you worry but I'm okay.." Not one hundred percent but enough to not pass out again in front of everyone. Her purple headed friend still looked upset with her so she diverted her eyes to the side, now feeling some guilt. She didn't think they would get so upset with her..

Soon more people came into the house. Rednal, who came in on crutches and insisted he was fine. Yosuke Hanamura, who pointed out Rednal's condition and seemed to have a fear of.. curry? Then it was Crowley, who seemed to have gotten himself more injured after the fight. Though she was sure he had best intentions at heart, shame he got hurt in the process. He panicked about something, making a strange tattooed girl leave the house to investigate. As she looked at the growing group it occurred to her that she hardly knew the group at all, only a few members. Perhaps this was what she needed, a chance to see the whole group come together and possibly get to know them. It never hurt to make more friends.

Nix snapped out of her thought process when she heard a small explosion, the poor door falling off the hinges Soji just repaired. It was Zeo, the blue haired android who helped her get Genji to the hospital last night. She didn't have a chance to speak before he handed her a gift, a cashmere sweater. 'That was kind of Zeo but.. I don't recall doing anything worthy of receiving a gift but it would be rude to refuse it.. It feels nice too.' The girl looked at the sweater before looking over at Zeo, spying the box he held. Something didn't seem right about the height and angle he was holding it at. "Oh umm.. Thank you, Zeo-san for the sweater but I couldn't possibly accept another gift." Nix moved away from the entrance to stand more in the living room area, placing the sweater over the bag that hung at her side. Maybe Kusuri would be distracted by this and forget why she was angry?.. She doubted it.

Faustus Necromonium and Kusuri Keiraku
Kusuri nodded quietly, still putting on a show of being upset to Nix, as a few others seemed to arrive. First, was Rednal with a pair of crutches, then Yosuke, and the school Nurse...And then of course, Zeo with the door. It was...kind of distressing how little her and Faust were fazed by the entrance...but it was Zeo, after all.
She nodded in understanding as Soji waved her off quietly, and watched the blue haired Android hand off gifts to everyone..and holding something down at a low position. She had a feeling, but as the swimsuit was handed to her, someone else seemed to speak up.

"As Kusuri's Significant Other..." Faust's voice called out, loudly towards the flirty blue haired android. "I must say.....I appreciate the suit. Kusu-chan has quite the wonderful body, even if she doesn't show it."
Wait, was Faust.....Approving of Zeo's actions? He gave a thumbs up to the Android, having spent enough time with him to know how he worked. He leaned towards Kusuri with a wink, and chuckled. "I wouldn't mind seeing more of you, personally."

Kusuri seemed to fume for a second, reeling back a hand....and then lightly bopping Faust on the head.
"Come onnn, not in front of everyone." she cooed a bit, kissing Faust on the cheek. "We're here as a group, not as a group date, after all."

Faust chuckled at this, leaning into Kusuri more as he looked over.
"Hope you weren't trying to go for the whole living in a tent thing again, Nix." An incident the three would likely never forget..."You remember what happened last time."

"So, what did you spend the day doing, Nix?" she called, a ring on her finger seeming to surge with Energy....and Aiming to Drain Zeo of any charged energy he might have had, while she was communicating wtih Nix and the others. Oh, the fun of being in a peaceful group again....

Yukiko walked towards the Dojima residence, completely oblivious of the griffin just diving in and abducting a familiar face just a few steps behind her, just brushing some strands of onyx hair with the sudden air current that almost felt like wings flapping, long fingers curling around the door knob and swinging it open. Or...she would have done that if there had been a door there in the first place. Instead, smoke rose into the air, almost as if the door had just blown up for some reason. The heiress blinked, perplexed as she stood in front of the door frame before shrugging it off and walking inside. The familiar loud voice inside the house only made her connect the dots, the blue hair android probably responsible for the lack of door. It wouldn't be a surprise really. Still... she smiled at the sight of the people gathering inside the house that was almost like a second home to her...the house where she had spent so many evenings with the team the year before; where she had talked and laughed and cried. And there, she had gathered with friends, recollecting memories, met and got to know new friends, spent time with Soji...it was truly a fond place for her. A small bow was given as greeting as she stepped inside, the delicious smell of curry and other delicacies reaching her senses in that instant, her appetite growing by the second, her stomach rumbling. She giggled despite herself, the thought of curry bringing back memories of that time during the campout, along with the slight self-consciousness and embarrassment at the abomination that had been the curry dish made by Chie and herself. But...ahaha...that had been the first time she tried cooking! And she had been practicing, so surely she was getting better (not).

A-anyway! That wasn't important right now. Eyes landed on the silverette then, her smile softening for a moment. She walked up to him, turning to look at the three big pots of curry and the several bowls of food around the kitchen. "Impressive~ Couldn’t have expected anything less from you." she grinned, before giggling as she brushed her left cheek with her hand. "You got some flour on your..." the girl trailed off, already reaching out to dust off the white blotch from his cheek. "There." Again she chuckled, her hands already clasping together behind her back. "So...how are you?" Her tone grew slightly more serious, not forgetting what had happened yesterday, knowing that many ended up injured. If only she had gotten there in time...
