FOLLOWING THE TRAILUlmuka hadn't really intended on becoming involved in any snooping, but he wasn't against it once he'd gotten there. Instead of being led by the paper he was drawn by the sight of a familiar blue wave of hair. He hadn't seen his good friend Edel in quite a while and had a lot to tell her! The strix crept along the hall until he found a large gathering of students, Edel included, listening in at a door. The owl-boil nosed in, grinning and elbowing his demoness friend. EXPLORING THE OFFICE
It wasn't easy to ignore a pack of students trying to be sneaky when they sucked so hard at it. The demon had been minding his own business as he made his way back from the cafeteria, and he wouldn't have even stepped into the room if it hadn't been for the comically large group hovering around the bathroom door. Okay then.
Instead of joining them, West inched closer to the shredder, picking at a few of the bits of paper left near its teeth before kneeling to rummage through any leftover shreddings. He tried to listen in on whatever was going on behind the door, but he couldn't hear more than unintelligible sounds from where he was.

Exploring the Office/Creeping on TaimaIf anyone had asked Herryk what, exactly, he was doing at his current location, the draugr would have likely told his inquisitor that he was busy doing very important things, and that being nosy was not very polite. In truth, the draugr was following Taima. Since their first conversation, the draugr had felt more than a little responsible for the younger ghoul - and despite his size, he'd gotten very good at lurking in shadows whenever he saw her around campus. Or so he thought, there was every possibility that Taima had seen him and simply hadn't told him to stop following her. One thing was certain. Herryk probably looked pretty ridiculous as he did his best to look inconspicuous, which also meant he wasn't really helping or doing anything else of importance.

FOLLOWING THE TRAILIf there was anything of worth in the office, then clearly whomever had hurriedly left the place had gotten it. That was Remis train of thought at least, if there was anything left finding in the horrible paper mess than it would have been found by now. People still seemed intent on searching though, but the kitsune was just too damn lazy to do that. Following after the messily left trail he caught up to a small herd of people gathering around THAT bathroom. The one that always seemed messy, and always had the nastiest critters ever within. Remi shuddered at the thought, knowing all too well what was within. He had spent many a day in detention in there. Still though it was odd that it was locked, and there were noises from within. The fox boil gave a nod at his fellow eavesdroppers, as he somehow found room and pressed his furred ear to the door. He honestly would not have been surprised if the toilets had mutated within, and were having a toilet paper crochet contest. Maybe they were fighting over it. ANYONE SNOOPIN AT THE RESTROOMS

EXPLORING THE OFFICE
Tybalt's head shot up the moment Sparrow spoke, but somehow, he managed to stop himself from jumping on the spot. Though just barely. He hadn't noticed the reaper standing there, so when he did speak, it was a little surprising and enough to stop him from snooping through some fallen papers on the floor.
"Ah!--uhh you're guess is as good as mine." He quickly added, once recovered. "Until then I say it was a Fear attack." He was joking of course. But to be honest, with how messy the office's current state was, it wouldn't be all that surprising if it had been exactly that. "What's your opinion about it?" He asked, hoping that Sparrow had a little more insight on the matter than he did. Perhaps even a rumor or something.
Spotting Yin, as he greeted him, Tybalt returned Yin's greeting with a casual "Hey." before he picked up another piece of paper. He vaguely remembered the other boil. Remembering only that the other boil had survived the thunder road run, where he hadn't. His body still tingled when he recalled the lightning. It hadn't been a pleasant experience.
"Look's like the secretary's lack of cleanliness is attracting quite a few people."

EXPLORING THE OFFICEJove had been just passing by. On his way back from the library with a nice big book, planning on climbing up into a tree to read for a few hours. But the ruckus and commotion of a mass of students all lurking around in the secretary's office was enough of a distraction for the pup to bail on his plans. He peered in, cautiously at first, but when he realized there was no secretary administering ADMINISTRATIVE PUNISHMENT, the pup quickly lost his fear. He noticed quite a few of his friends there, Tybalt and Sparrow were there, and West, and... Herryk trying to look inconspicuous? Maybe the mountain of a student knew something the rest of them didn't, or maybe he still thought the secretary was in there, hiding in a drawer or something? Jove trotted over to stand next to the giant boil, giving him a curious look. Then after a couple seconds he trotted over to favour Sparrow and Tybalt and their green-tinged company with an equally curious look.

He was a wall. A big, dark-skinned wall. Jove wouldn't see him. Jove didn't see him, right? Nope. No way. He was melding in the shadows. Herryk froze and stared straight ahead. When Jove moved on, Herryk relaxed. He was really good at this lurking thing.

"... the wrong key!" The rather loud shout easily echoed through the other bathroom door, though the voices inside seemed at this moment, to be entirely unaware of the intruders still listening in. The voice was unfamiliar and slightly raspy. "Is this supposed to be a game? Because it ain't funny and you're treadin' on thin ice, considering that-"
The rest of the sentence was drowned out by a dry screech, what sounded like thick nails clawing against a metal surface.
"Well, who said I had it anyway!" The second voice however, was all too familiar, the school secretary sounded just a little more exasperated and haggard. "Not to mention, you know how those secret passages are, they ah, move over time. By themselves! It has nothing to do with me-"
Another sharp screech.
-"And," the was the sound of footsteps visibly moving backwards, "The entrance is gone anyway." A pause. "So, are we um, done here?"
A moment of silence again and then, a second set of footsteps coming closer towards the door, followed by the same clack of thick claws pressing against the other side. "You-" A loud thump -"Did ya bring others here?"
"What?" The scuffling stopped momentarily. "No, I ah, um, I would never do anything to defy your righteous um righteousness again of course not."
"If ya did yer dead secretary. I'll have you in buckets again in jail." A dry hissing laugh.
More scuffling. "Oh, um, well, since there really would not be anyone on the other side of the door now," one could practically hear the desperation in the tone, "Maybe we should investigate the pipes here, I heard there's a maybe um, another secret entrance over there. I really should be heading back to my office soon after a nice, thorough investigation of the pipes though." Again the raised tone. It was pretty clear that Arel was rather nervous, with good reason.
Meanwhile, at the office, searching fruitlessly through piles of papers yielded only more papers of old application forms, cleaning bills, gnome bills, report card grades, what looked like an old history paper, it was quite the arduous task.
Tybalt would simply find scattered pieces of paper: the Halloween Daily once again showcasing Amityville and highlighting the Four Clans fiasco and of course oh, what was Town Hall thinking inviting those miscreants to Halloween?.
The shredder however, screeched and squealed and gnashed its teeth angrily as West pushed against it, burying its teeth right into the Wrath demon's leg. More bits and pieces of paper went flying, though a few of them seemed written on more official and ornate paper. Other pieces with the same texture were uninformative at best:
"Lost Clans Reserve Meeting 9:00am" - "Railway Extensions Vote 11:00am" - "Official Elections-"
Yin and Riyo prodding around the desk drawers, after shoveling a few more pieces of paper out of the way, would find a small wooden box. It was locked.
Taima however, would only get a headache reading through the cleaning bills that revealed absolutely nothing useful, other than an old photo wedged between some bills - several students gathered together including Red and Arel in front of what looked like a series of tables - it was to be noted that it was absolute chaos and it looked sort of like Arel was on fire.
There was a soft thunk as something fell out of the papers Thackery was sifting. A binder it seemed. Upon opening, it revealed a rather impressive display of scrawled keys in different shapes and sizes. They were all labelled differently, including "Janitorial Key", "Key Key" and "Boss Key". One illustration in particular however, seemed to be circled in red:
There was no text accompanying the circle.
Searching the floor would provide rather tedious and fruitless for Mitsu, that is, other than the skeletons of dead or rather, undead minipets, and what seemed like lint from the hats of gnomes. There was however, something sparkling on the floor, close to Hellma's corridor. It was wedged right under the door to her office and sparkled an odd gold.
Indeed there was apple cider everywhere as King would find out. It seemed to be coming from an invisible spot right under the desk, where one assumed they would tuck their chair in. OOC Washroom: BUSTED? Students better start running ASAP, before they get caught! They could always head back to the office if they're not done snooping... Office: Students can now continue to investigate further (including ones that just arrived). Make sure to post your investigations in bold red.

"Time to be gone," Roch whispered, slipping away from the door and then disappearing entirely, leaving only a poof of black smoke behind. He knew when it was best to lay low. Jack he hoped Danny did. The rest of them? Eh, who cared?

Mitsu couldn't seem to help herself either. As Thackery and Frost's tails began to wag so did her's. " I'm..sure we'll find the stolen keys. What do they look like anyway?" Mitsu asked curiously, her attention going to Leo as she offered to help. " I'm sure more help would be appreciated." With that said her attention went back to the floor. There wasn't much to see outside of undead and....dead mini pets and lint but an odd sparkle caught her attention. Following the gleam she stared at the door leading to Hellma's corridor curiously before she stooped to try and claim whatever it was that was wedged under the door.

A long shadowy tentacle slid out from under the door and grabbed a hold of Mitsu. She had the key but, the thing was not letting her go either - she was stuck!Inu-Mitsu Mitsu has been caught by a shadowy tentacle! Roll a 100-sided dice. If she rolls 80 or higher she is free, otherwise she is continuously stuck until she rolls 80 or higher

Yes, Tybalt was right, this office was rather a mess. Yin almost felt the urge to straighten it, but at the same time...with papers...who even knew how to organize such things. "Have you discovered anything?" he questioned, still filtering through the drawers. He glanced up as another boil appeared. "Greetings, I am Yǐn Cáng." Snooping about was no reason not to introduce himself. Then, papers were shifted, and there was a box. He started to reach for it, but glanced up and noted a ghoul was prodding around too. "What do you think it is Miss?" he asked her, hand already withdrawing. The prize could be hers, he would not argue with a ghoul over something that he did not feel strongly about. kuromeez Since Sparrow's in the area

More people had come around, which was making Shun a little uneasy. They weren't being exactly quiet either. As he listened, he frowned at what he was hearing. So the key they found wasn't the right one. It also confirmed his suspicions that Arel had wanted that for that strange cavern. But why? He didn't get to think about it for too long. The others were being too noisy and now it was time to leave. He shot Shehk and a few others a glance, then like Roch, disappeared into shadowy wisps, reforming further down the hall. As he went on to pass the office once more, he paused to see there were quite a few people inside. Furrowing his brow, he went on in. The first thing he saw? Mitsu getting grabbed by a tentacle. Rushing in, he tried to see if there was something around that might be able to help free her from it. ... Well, he supposed this was one sign that Hellma wasn't dead or anything. Maybe.

For once, Gene agreed with Roch; but she still wanted to snoop around a little bit. So, she compromised by phasing into the ceiling, hoping that she would avoid being caught.

A wild Lizzy appeared in the office.
Really, she just wanted to ask Arel more things, but it seemed like the secretary was nowhere to be found, and the office was more crowded that usual; there were a number of students around whom she recognized, and she gravitated towards the ones she knew best - Shun and Mitsu. Sliding up beside the reaper, she tilted her head, "... What's going on... Bro?"
