_______________❃___ Come here, come close! I have a story to be told!

Born in a small community, I have come to love the outdoors. Nature was my past time. Though my childhood I was interacting with any fauna or flora I could get my hands on. Other children thought I was strange, but that didn't stop anyone from being my friend or interacting with nature. Playing in the creeks while looking for pretty rocks and trying to catch fish were just as fun to me as picking flowers and laying in the meadows watching the birds and clouds go by. I guess I lived a pretty peaceful life when I was younger.

My childhood best friend became my husband not too long after completing school. His parents had cattle and chickens around; so to keep the tradition, when he and I got married, we bought land and cattle and everything. About a year later Anilese was born and she was the cutest little baby. Unfortunately, a couple of seasons after Ani Bell's birth, my husband caught a sickness that the doctors couldn't diagnose. About a year ago, or maybe it was less than that, seems so much longer, my husband passed away from that sickness. Ani Bell is still too young to understand, so she believes that he's asleep and will come back really soon. We sold our little ranch and purchased the one in Monotone Springs. The move was extremely hard on Ani Bell since she's so worried that her daddy won't know where we had gone and would try to look for us. I don't think there is much you can tell a three-year-old when she loses her father, especially when she was a "daddy's girl". Anyway, I am coping with the loss of my husband as well as can be expected by seeing new places and starting over fresh with my little baby girl at my side, the most precious gift he gave me before his passing.

I believe I'm a cool, level-headed mom, even with a three-year-old running around and getting into trouble. Nature and animals are a calming factor for me, and the smile on my daughter's face can always melt my heart when I get angry. I don't find that I am a quiet person, but I don't think I am one to be, what's the word, obnoxious I think. I was always mature for my age and I would like to think that that carried over into adulthood for me. There's not much I don't like. Well, maybe things get a little awkward for me when I'm in a conversation and suddenly no one is speaking anymore, but I think I could find something to chat about in that situation. I have a mother's instinct, though, and I know when my baby is in trouble and will defend her if I can help it.

Flavorful drinks. Non-alcohlic please. I want to set a good example for Ani Bell.
Home-cooked meals. That's always nice after a hard days work, especially when it's not I who has to cook it.
Flowers. Any and all. My favorites are pink, red, and blue ones, though.

Perfumes. I really don't like the smell. I would rather smell fresh flowers or hay.
Jewelry. Those just get in the way. Earrings are not a mom's best friend with a young child on your hip.
Any kind of nut, like walnuts or almonds. Never did like them for some reason.
