[Has anyone seen the episode where the white daughter confesses to the poetry group that she's white??

I have a lot of thoughts on that one, but I'll have to come back later to express those. 3nodding ]

I saw it.

I think they only reacted as if they didn't care because the cameras weren't around.

The only one who really expressed the fact that he was ticked off was the gay guy.

['m not sure if he considers himself gay, but I think he was out of line. No one owed him an apology; not like HE was demanding, anyway. rolleyes

I think the black mom is going to be my least favorite character. She's so two-faced. rolleyes She says, "Oh, yea, that's fine," or sits there and nods and then says something completely different later or reacts differently later on, like when they each have a chance to talk alone in front of the camera.]

I noticed that as well. But I think it's more she'd rather keep her real feelings to herself. My mom is sort of like that. She'll say one thing, then get mad later.

[I don't understand...I mean, not in a situation like this, where you're on TV participating in an experiment and your responses and reactions are documented and reviewed by others. neutral In a situation like that, you should put everything out there, let it be known. Getting angry later on is pointless, especially when earlier she was "frontin'" like she wasn't upset/bothered by the fact that the white mom wanted to wear African clothing. -_- ]

Some people are just like that, I guess.

[*kicks the air*
There was another new episode after the one where the white family goes to black church and the white girl reveals she's white?
Damn. Looks like I've got some catching up to do. xp

I about died laughing when the black guy from the poetry group came to the door and asked for the white girl. He about fell over and died when she said she was the girl he was asking for. xd ]

You can catch it again. It comes on FX on Sundays, either 9, 10, or 11 o' clock. 3nodding

What was everyone's opinion of the most recent episode?
I think it was rather similar to something that happened to my friend when he boght I guess a necklace or something, and when we returned home and his mother noticed it she exploded basically the same way as this mother did on the show. But my opinion is that she did the right thing in trying to break this stereotype with young black men when comes to indulging in material wealth over education.

The way the son acted really surprised me. It was unfortunate that he was acting more like a stereotype. I'm also glad that his parents made him return the watch.

I hope I don't seem mean, but I thought it was funny toward the end when Bruno and Carmen (but Bruno was dressed in his black make up) were with that lady in that one part of town, and they got scared. xd

Mean to who? (I think Bruno was more scared than carmen.)
