Echo enters the Charms tent to practice the Engorgement Charm. She points her wand at a tea cup and shouts "Engorgio!"
It's an average cast, and the teacup swells to the size of a pitcher.

Feeling confident and seeing Willow concentrating on the professor Amanda decides to sneak an attempt at immobulus. Raising her wand she faces the unsuspecting Ravenclaw and shouts Immobulous!
Drat, nothing happened. Amanda says looking around at Echo, Willows sister, to see if her attempt was noticed.

Echo sees Amanda attempting to freeze her Ravenclaw friend. "Expelliarmus!" Echo points her wand at Amanda.

Echo quickly lowers her wand, hoping her attempt to disarm Amanda has gone unnoticed. She sees a fly buzzing across the room. "Immobulus!"
The fly freezes. Success! Echo puts her wand away and heads out to Quidditch practice.

Amanda, having narrowly escaped being disarmed by Echo, suddenly fears being knocked on her bottom if both the sisters decided to Expelliarmus and Amanda turns her attention to the practice dummy. Clearing her throat. Ahem! Amanda takes waves her wand and says, "Expelliarmus!"
Normal cast, that's better than it backfiring on me! Amanda says

((ooc the leson on the board is supposed to represnt most of the basic instruction to the spells and the students try the spells then i alk among you and help this is battle charms(thats how i always use it anyways any spell can be used in combat if your are creative enough)

Syreyn Amanda takes her seat and pulls out her wand. Pointing it at the cup Professor Telemar has set out for them. Ahem, Engorgio! Amanda clearly states and waves her wand at the cup.
Yes! A perfect cast! Amanda exclaims and nearly falls out of her chair

Well, that girl from Hufflepuff is starting so.... Willow shook herself mentally and cleared her throat. Deciding on the first spell as well, she took a deep breath and casts.
She opened her eyes and stared. It seemed to have worked, though comparing hers to the girl from Hufflepuff she notices that it's not really AS good. She sighs. Then she backtracks and giggles. All her surroundings have gone unnoticed until now and she now sees that Echo and the first year from Hufflepuff are trying to cast on each other!

She took a deep breath and tried to concentrate on the Hufflepuff girl, and Whispering "Expelliarmus!" To her surprise, her own wand shot out of her hand and landed in front of the girl whom she had tried to hex, and she blushed terribly.

She stares. Nothing happens, so she sighs. "Don't get frustrated" she mumbles, reminding herself.
