Ling searched his lands, looking for any sgn of food for himself and the young kittens in his care. He didn't know what he would find, but he would wait till he did.
He laid low in the grass, hoping that his white and black fur was not too much of a give away. Hearing a rustling in the grass he moved slowly, his eyes catching sight of a rather large wild boar. He moved towards it, trying his best to be quiet. A twig snapped under his paw sending the boar running and the large male running after it. He dashed after it, soon after, taking the boar down, grabbing it in his mouth he walked back to the cave, dropping it at the kittens' feet.

Nola licked her chops at the sight of the food but apperantly whoever her parents were had taught her that males dine first for she sat and waited for Ling and the rest of the newly formed pride to eat first.

Ling moved around the little group of kittens and inspected them before leaning over the meat, eating his potion of it before handing it over to the other small males of his new pride.
He moved to the back of the cave, curling his body on a pile of dried grass and grains. He watched the kitten's through half closed eyes. He'd inherited these kittens, he was a father without even trying. How is the world did this happen?
It was then that he noticed the new face, the dark male cub. He blinked and pawed the floor, becconing the little kitten towards him.

 Xia watched them true to her word, her purple orbs gazed at Ling as far as they could follow him while he cought dinner for them. She looked over to the two new males and to the black and red one and giggled, 'what a silly idea!' "What's your name?" the cub asked the male kitten and waited for Ling to come back with a feast for them.
"My name's Xia." she said and then she batted at Nola's ear, playing with her by bitting it. "hehe! I got you." The two females waited until the boys had gotten their share first and she got up and followed Ling, breath coming at a steady pace as she walked. She put her paws on his furred mane/chest and used that as leverage to push herself up and lick his nose affectionately. heart

Ling had not expected the young cub to come over ot him so fast. He had expected her to eat. "Xia...no...go eat..." He growled at her, almost as if he would drag her over himself if she refused.
He continued to wait for the small black and red kitten to come to him. was he really the scary?

Shaitani stared at Xia a moment, trying to decide what to do. He didn't know her. She was older than he, but he felt no need to speak with the energetic female - It was then that he noticed Ling motioning at him.
Without hesitation - probably because he was a little too headstrong - Shaitani moved forward to the motioning lion a ways before him. He trotted, his head held high, ego inflated that he had been summoned by who he assumed was the king of a pride. He had that air to him. He stopped a few feet from the unknown male, lessons on the ends of his mind stopping his body without him even realizing it. He said nothing, but stared confidently at the King.

Ling grinned as the small kitten stared up at him. He nodded then and spoke. "You hide from me, yet you linger. There is something you desire, ask it now or you will not get another chance little one." He held himself proud, even sitting there on the cold cave floor, his tail pulled around him.

Akira looked gratefully at the food and began to eat, he took a few bites and looked up at the new kitten that had just entered the cave. he tilted his head curiously to the side before returning to his food

Shaitani sat down and puffed out his chest the best that he could. In a child-like tone, but trying to sound tough, he made his request to the king of the pride, "Sir," he said, lessons tugging at the edge of his mind once more, "if you would allow it, I'd like to join your pride."
((Lol, all right. <3 Thankies ^^; It was pobably good that I went to bed last night though... It was late and I had school. xp ))

Nola smiled at the older girl and sat down after her meal to groom herself. She listened carefully to what was going around her and observed what Ling would say to this little male. The place was getting full rather quickly and yet it was still not as full as the pride she had strayed from. To be honest she wasn't sure if she enjoyed this new home or not yet but there were plenty of cubs here to play with. Once she decided that she was clean enough she curled up along the wall and got ready for a nap.

Ling grinned at the kitten infront of him and nodded. "I welcome you to my pride little one. I welcome you as if you were my brother..." He chuckled and patted the kitten on the head. "You are welcome to share our food and this cave as you wish..." Ling noted that the young kitten named Nola had moved to lay down. He smiled and nodded to her. "Sleep if you would little kitten....I will keep you safe tonight."

Nola smiled at the large male and yawned softly. "Thank you King Ling." She then laid her little head down on her paws and drifted to sleep. Tomorrow would bring a whole new world to explor.

Akira finished his food and began to groom himself, satisfied, he walked over to the wall as Nola did and curled up to sleep. he smiled, content and happy to have a new home."thank you for allowing me to join your pride King Ling" he said before lowering his head onto his paws to sleep.

Gathering from the other cubs, he decided his new King must be named Ling. He looked up to him and smiled - which looked much like a smirk - and said with the lessons tugging at him once more, "Thank you very much - I'm very grateful."
He waited for his dismissal, eyeing the boar wearily. He had wandered for a while, and just now realized how long it had been since he had eaten...

Xia padded over to the black and red male. "You look half starved poor thing, come on, there's food overhere." With that she walked over to the food and started taking chunks of meat off of it.
