Isidore took the needle from his sister and examined it with curiosity. It certainly did smell nice and fresh. He watched it in his palm and frowned a little as the tip of the little green needles started to turn brown.

He had no time to dwell on that thought. They were moving again and there were more interesting sights to behold. He closed his hand around the needle and grinned as they came upon the animals.
"Yeah!" Isi replied with enthusiasm. Of course he wanted to see!

Kyrie had been enjoying watching the dappled sun and shade wash over them as Glyph strolled through the forest. There was so much to see and she wanted to see it all! When he suddenly stopped, she twisted her head around to see what would have made him stop. Spotting the funny looking creatures, her eyes grew wide and wider still when the fawns came over to inspect them.
'Down!' she insisted, squirming on Glyph's shoulder to manuever herself to attempt to climb down the tall tree god. She wanted to see these things up nice and close.

User Image Kyrie's squirming made Glyph laugh as her limbs went all over in her effort to climb but he caught her and stilled her with one hand. "Gentle. Calm. Mnn? You don't want to hurt them! They're little, just like you." He made sure he had the young Crow's attention then crouched and held his hands up for steps for the two goddesses then reached behind to grip Isidore and pulled him over his head to settle him securely on the ground after the brief aerial stint.

"They're baby deer. Fawns." Handfulls of clover sprouted from his hands then and he offered them to the godlings, "Hold these out, they'll eat them."

The fawns, with their big brown eyes, stared at the godlings and sensed their status but the undercurrent of death in them made them mildly nervous. Their mothers picked up on it and came trotting over, snorting. Glyph compensated by making the grasses around the trio grow up tall and sweet, the influx of creation-aligned mana hopefully balancing their father's influence.

He stood when all three were on the ground and rose to rub the does down, his touch calming them further. The male, however, remained vigilant as he watched over the spectacle.

Caelia was not much better on the excitable aspect - she had been about ready to simply jump down when Glyph gave her an handy step.

Heights were clearly not something Augury was scared of.

Caelia was handed the clovers and blinked. That was grass ! Grass wasn't for eating ! But uncle Glyph said so, so...

And so Caelia held as still as she could - which was not much. The young goddess was certainly not one for being immobile for too long. She held the clovers out, and eventually one fawn was brace enough to come eat them, and she giggled. The soft fur tickled !

Ankou stood aside, further back - not so much out of any awareness of how the pack of deer could be perceiving him, but out of knowledge that any sudden movement might send the babies scattering away. He seemed content to simply stand still and watch - clearly more able to control himself than his daughter.

Isidore was curious about the deer too, though like his father more able to restrain his excitement at seeing them. He stood next to his sisters and held the grass out for the fawns. He watched as one came over to Caelia and stuck his hand out further, he wanted to feed them too!

Another fawn took a step in his direction, paused and sniffed the air. It watched him a moment, seemingly unsure and stepped back then towards Kyrie.

Isi pouted and looked up at Glyph.
"Wanna play." He declared.

Kyrie held her clovers tightly and she watched her sister with a bit of envy as one of the fawns approached her. She wanted to feed them too! Lifting her hand a little higher, she watched as one approached her brother. About to complain, the sound died on her tongue when the fawn reconsidered and approached her instead. Clacking her beak lightly, she managed to hold still as the fawn's soft nose snuffled her hand and it started to eat her gift. Looking up to her sister with sparkling eyes, she decided this had to be best moment exploring ever!

((Just gonna wrap up this one quickly))

They would happily play with the fawns and then around the clearing for a bit, but all good things had to eventually come to an end - as much as Caelia was pouting horribly, eventually they all had to go home.

Still, hopefully they would get to do this again !
