He went back to studying math, but couldn't focus. He ended up just closing the textbook and enjoying his coffee. "Five... I should be done by then..." he nodded. The exam was only an hour and a half, but he was going to get ready. And yeah, a final exam," he exhaled. He began eating his pancakes and, before he knew it, it was 1:30. He left $25 for Ginny, even though it was more than he could afford, and a note that said 'See you at 5 wink '. Ginny did not see Chris go but smiled when she returned to his table and saw the note. She slipped it into her apron before noticing the money. You've got to be kidding me... She walked over to the counter to ring up his meal and pocketed the change. I don't deserve this... Sighing, Ginny went back to work, glancing up at the clock every so often as she counted down the hours until she finished work at the diner.

He headed home, showered, shave and got dressed into something a little nicer. Ginny was busy up until the end of her shift and was getting ready to hang up her apron when she spotted someone hiding behind a menu. Whoever it was was sitting at Chris's table, making Ginny a little suspicious. She put her apron away, making sure that she had removed Chris's note, and walked over to the table. "Excuse me," she said, keeping up her waitress act in case the person was actually a customer. "My name is Ginny and I'll be your server this evening. Can I start you off with something to drink?"

Ginny rolled her eyes as Chris lowered the menu. "No," she said with a smirk. "I didn't know if it was you so I thought I'd continue waitressing until I knew for certain." When he commented on her outfit, she did a little twirl and laughed. "You think so? Taking off that apron changes everything!" She then nodded and smiled down at him when he asked if she was ready. "I already punched out, but if you prefer that I not smell like the diner we can stop by my place so I can get changed? Otherwise, what do you have planned for this evening?"

Ginny smirked and started walking toward the door. "Yup. That was my plan all along." She glanced back at Chris to see if he was following before walking outside. "Actually, you're only getting as far as my front door. My place is trashed and I really don't want you to see it." Truth was, her place was as clean as she could make it while having a two-year-old son. The only problem was that his toys and other belongings were all over the apartment and would take forever to try and hide. When they reached her building, Ginny led the way up to the second floor and paused outside her apartment. "I'll only be a few minutes!" she said before hurrying inside to get changed. She tried to move as quickly as she could but she really had no idea what to wear. It had been forever since she had been on a date and most of her clothes were things she could wear at the diner. Eventually, she settled on an outfit and met Chris back in the hallway. "Okay."

Ginny held back a laugh as they walked over to the elevator. "We're only on the second floor, silly," she told Chris as the elevator doors opened. She stepped inside and waited for Chris before pressing the button for the ground floor. "So... where are we going?" she asked when the elevator opened again.
