Slightly surprised that Tabby was so perky in the morning when she had said just last night said she was a night person, Cam simply smiled in response. "It was odd sleeping in a bed again, but it certainly wasn't the worst nights sleep I've had recently." Which was quite true, as there had been no falling in a fountain last night. It seemed she was making quite a number of little chocolate chip pancakes, which were adorable, but the smell was almost beginning to make him sick. "Did you sleep well?" he knew that sometimes it was odd to sleep with another person in the bed, though he had grown used to it over the years of hotel rooms with his band.

Tabby smiled and nodded as she went back to work on making them. She had to do some mind over body business each day to get herself out of bed. If she could he would spend all night partying, but she had a daughter and that to take care of and was talking responsibly for the child. "She'll be here soon. I think I'll tell her that we ate without her today." She informed the bassist she had already thought up a plan to make sure that her daughter didn't worry. The woman was finishing up when the door opened and shut and a little brunette girl walked in and over to the table. "Morning Mommy." She said getting a plate of the dish. She then turned and notice came for the first time. Her fork dropped as soon as she had picked it up. "Mommy, you brought...." The words seemed to escape her mouth.

Frowning a bit at her intentions, the redhead considered a moment. He was about to insist that she should eat, thus making him a hypocrite when the door opened. His head turned as a little girl came into the kitchen and set about getting ready to eat. Cam watched her turn, dropping her fork as she noticed where he stood in the door frame leading to the hall. She looked surprised and was unable to finish her sentence, and while this made the man a bit nervous, he ignored the feeling and smiled at the girl. "Good morning, Yvette. I'm Cam. Remember me?" the two had met a few times while he and her mother were kind of dating, but he had never been in the girls' apartment before.

The girl smiled and nodded as she started to stack pancakes onto her plate and grabbing the bottle of maple syrup. "Yes." She answered as she started to pour the brown liquid. "Lyn gave me a copy of your last album. It was really good." She added with a grin. She then picked up her fork and started to stab away at the round treat. Tabby smiled and looked at Cam. "I think he is much better in person that on the cover of some album." She was flirting right in front of her daughter.

His smile brightened at her comment on his band's latest album, making a note to get Tabby and her daughter a copy of the rest of them. "Thanks. I'm glad you liked it." the album had been a big hit, but he was more pleased by the little girl's reaction than by anyone else's. His eyes drifted to Tabby at her comment, and he flashed his most charming smile. "Oh, I don't know. They always make sure to hide my imperfections on the covers." he pointed out, not wanting to go too far in front of her daughter. After all, he was trying to make a good impression. "Besides, I'm certainly no gorgeous model." he cast the pink-haired witch a discreet wink, not wanting her to be disappointed by his lack of flirting.

Yvette chewed her food as fast as she could before commenting to the man. "True, you're no Haikimaru, but you're not bad looking." The girl pointed out, much to the approval of her mother. "They do the same with models. They brighten our faces to make us look lighter all the time." The woman pointed out as she sat down at the table after turning of the oven. She offered Cam the chair next to her.

Laughing, the man was rather amused at the girl's comment, choosing not to comment about how he may not be Haiki, he was still good looking enough to have been with him. "Which is why I'm famous for my music, not my pretty face." he agreed, noting the look of approval on Tabby's face. He nodded at her comment about models, having been in a few ads himself. He sat in the their offered to him, relaxing in it. He was wide awake now, having shaken off the drowsiness as Yvette entered the house. He was still feeling a little queasy, but he hid it well. "I'm not really a fan of the editing, but I don't fight my agent. He comes up with some very.... interesting revenge schemes." Daniel was a bit of an oddball, but Cam was still grateful to the older man.

Tabby smiled at the man. "We don't have much of a choice it's in our contract to look pretty." The woman commented as she put the pancakes her daughter didn't eat in the fridge. "Whatever, you have both a pretty face and good hand with a bass." Yvette responded. "Mommy said you're face was pretty when she helped me put up the poster in room. She even left some lipstick on your face." "Vetty." The woman scolded in vain as pink crossed her checks.

Well aware that models were supposed to be pretty, he nodded. "I'm just the band's pretty boy. I appeal to a wide demographic, though Ced being shy and cute covers a good demographic as well." Cynthia appealed to the men, and Loyd was still quite a looker himself. Overall, the band covered quite a large group. Turning his attention to Yvette as she spoke about his face and bass, he flashed a smile at her. His brows rose in amusement, however, at her next sentence, and he turned his eyes on Tabby. "Is that so?" he sounded very amused, though not at all repulsed or creeped out. "You think my face is pretty?" he asked, leaning a bit towards her with an innocent expression on his face.

Tabby thought it was a perfect moment to be sarcastic. Just a little. "No not at all. My lips slipped." She told him with a wink before turning around and filling a glass of water for herself. She then took a sip of it. "Well don't kiss my poster next time." Yvette whined at her mother. The girl was not pleased with her mother's make-up on her things. "Want some water?" She asked the man across the room from her.

Looking very amused at the banter between mother and daughter, he smiled. "I agree. I don't wear make up, so a poster of my face shouldn't either." he added, as he certainly didn't on a normal basis. There were few occasions, like when he was in an ad or a commercial, when he did but never for things like his concerts. His looks were all natural, and make up felt odd to him. He looked over to Tabby as she directed a question at him, shaking his head in response. "No thanks." he wasn't a fan of water, or most liquids at all; he generally chalked it up to his flashy ability, but he never actually mentioned such.

"See he agrees." The girl said as she pointed towards Cam. She was going to win this one. "Fine. Wipe it up, just don't damage your poster." The woman answered her daughter as she finished up her drink. It was clear Cam had won approval from the daughter and lost some with Tabby. The girl turned towards the man so she could question him. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

While he seemed to score a few points with Yvette, Tabby was clearly displeased with his response. The redhead cocked a brow at Tabby, noting her displeased expression. While he was considering about commenting about he'd prefer she be kissing his actual face and not a poster, he decided against it when Yvette drew his attention once more. Considering the girl's question a moment, he went through a few answers carefully. "Keeping your mom company." he responded, knowing that it wasn't a lie. He had certainly been keeping Tabby company the other night, and part of the reason he had been invited over had been because Yvette wasn't home.

Tabby smiled he was handling himself nicely with the younger Kent girl. Yvette didn't mind him around at all. "Oh. I'm sorry mommy you must get lonely without me. It's sometimes really had to go between parents." The girl said knowing very well where she placed in the importance in people's lives. "Thank you Mr. Sol for being with my mommy." The girl added. She pretty much gave an unofficial blessing for Cam to come back when he liked.

Giving a nod to show he understood, he chose not to comment about how he really didn't know how hard it would be. His parents had been together when they had died, though he did miss them when he thought of them. He smiled at the little girl, pleased with her response. "It was no problem. I rather like spending time with your mom." he informed the girl, telling the blatant truth. He didn't get a lot of time to spend with friends that weren't a part of his band, though it did seem that Tabby was becoming more than just a friend.
