The wrath demon didn't dislike prom. No, if he had to choose his least favorite formal dance, it would forever and always be Scarentine's. Too much pressure and too many expectations. That being said, prom was proving to be no picnic this year either.
Let's just say West was glad for the mask.
It wasn't that he wasn't happy to have a ghoulfriend or that his ghoulfriend was Levi, he just didn't like everyone knowing his business. He told himself they all had their own concerns to attend to, but that didn't stop him from casting sharp looks at everyone they passed, as if daring them to say something. It didn't help that she was wearing the crown. He was sure the thing had been created to sparkle in morse code. LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT—
West reached out and prodded one of its shiny minarets, dropping his free hand back to his side when he realized they weren't alone. He swallowed, peering down at Xiu. Her mask did nothing to hide the OvO. It was just as disconcerting as always.

Siobhan was ready for Prom. She had DesuChan personally see to her wardrobe, so what could go wrong? Unless the maul guard tried to arrest her for stealing again. But hey, at least she'd look fabulous? She spotted Levi right away and floated over, not daring to WALK in her killer shoes. Ah the advantage of being a ghost. "LEVIIIIII!!!"

Xiu grinned sheepishly at Mitsu, lifting a hand to rub the back of her neck. "I'll definitely try to warn you guys next time," She promised, though considering how she would be taking pictures throughout the night, it did seem impractical to yell, "I'M TAKING A PICTURE" every time she raised her camera. After considering this for a moment, she amended her previous statement with, "Or I'll...try to make sure the flash doesn't hit you right in the eyes. Though I would like to get some more formal group or couple pictures of you guys!"
Perhaps now was not the best time though, with so many people flooding in. Xiu's face lit up with delight when Levi and West showed up, and she was the perfect picture of an admiring little sister when the tatzel walked up to her. "Jiejie, you look beautiful!" She beamed, taking a moment to try wrapping her tail around Levi's before smiling and nodding enthusiastically, "Prom is the perfect time to pull out my camera after all! I'd like to get pictures of you and your date throughout the evening if it's alright with you?" And speaking of her date...
The baku turned to look at West, looking up at him in typical "OvO" fashion. Letting her camera dangle from around her neck, she grasped the sides of her dress and bowed. "Good evening, West. It's good to see you again!"
The only thing that managed to catch Xiu off guard at all was Shun's sudden compliment. She stared up at him blankly for a good few seconds before lifting a hand to her mouth, trying to suppress her giggles. He did not sound particularly enthused, but it didn't really matter, did it? "Thank you, aniki." Another bow, and then she turned back to Mitsu, reaching out to take one of the ghoul's hands in both of hers. "My dress? Look at yours, Mitsu! You're so pretty!" Her eyes may have been sparkling behind that mask of hers.
Ah, yes. Let all the ghouly gushing begin.

Ev was quite excited. This would be her first dance ever! Well... outside of her home, that is. With her fellow peers! The sound of it all was so enthralling, like the balls held back at home! Dolling up, and socializing, and of course dancing... she loved it all! For the theme, it was not an issue for the Grand Bois. She already naturally wore a mask religiously! It was mostly because of how self-conscious she was of her eyes... She was afraid they might not be acceptable in normal society. Thus her mask kept her feeling confident and assured that others would want to interact with her and not be frightened!
Stepping into the lovely decorated room, she was adorned in her prom dress; home made as well! It was strapless, and fit to her torso like a corset. A low sweetheart neckline, showing a decent amount of cleavage, was molded with the many gossamer leaves that made up the top half. Greens, turquoises, and teals were beautifully mixed in a gradient formation, blended perfectly. At the waist was a maroon scarf, a golden centerpiece securing it, with the slack draped behind her to just touch the floor. The draping of her dress, that spilled out below the sash, was in a light seafoam green. It was layered, and had an open cut all the way up to a hip, along the side. Bangles were on her wrists, and a maroon choker that covered the majority of her neck, made of smooth ribbon, accessorized, along with draping golden necklaces. To finish off, a pair of cute pumps covered her feet in a maroon too, with little moth wings jutting at the heels. The ensemble was perhaps a bit more covering than her usual attire, but maybe risque for a few... though she wouldn't know any different.Sure she wasn't as beautifully dressed or looking as the majority of the girls here, but she didn't mind. It was just fun to see everyone looking a way they might not usually!
Her moth companions fluttered around her as usual, hanging off of bits of her clothes, nesting in her hair, or even landing on a few around her. She was grateful that Joachim was willing to go with her to the event. It would be nice knowing a friend would be around! Ah, but there was so much going on! What to do first?

Levi's tail rounded around Xiu's as well, greeting her kin properly. Her little baku-sister, she swore, gave her this same expression last time at prom. It was the first time she'd seen the "OvO."
Uhhhhhh... s-sure thar, screecheart. Yew just goon n' do what'cha like doin', aye? Have some fun while yer 'ere!
Date. Well, yes, West was her date for the evening. The shock never seemed to end though at the thought of her going to an event with a boil that wasn't kin or there to get into a fight with her. The latter was still possible given it was West, perhaps.Okay, Levi was calm again and maybe ready to whack West randomly. Did'ja come 'long with anybody, Xiu?
Thank ya'kindly, Shu- hiss~ I had been a hope that West wouldn't say or do anything, but there it was. The demon boil's prodding at her crown caused Levi to give a low hiss in discomfort. She shot him another glare before whacking his tail with her own stealthily behind the cover of her skirt. West, don't tell me ya'want one. Heh. She remembered him in a crown, alright. Score one for the tatzel.
Then a shrill voice sounded, calling out her name, causing her ears to spring straight up and eyes to widen behind her mask. It was her critter Junka- no, it was the ghost ghoul who she'd collected up as an alpaca but wasn't really one. The petite banshee ghoul would also receive an enthusiastic grin and wave. Siobhan! What'a peace ya'are all dressed up, screecheart. It was a different take on seeing her in critter form covered with hair from face to hoof.

At the random comment Mitsu turned to Shun for a moment before smiling. "Thank you." He had at least said something so that was good enough.
"Are you going to dance again this year, Levi?" Mitsu looked to the tatzel with big expectant eyes. That had been the highlight for her last year. Mot and Levi had been a real hit. "Can you dance too?" Mitsu asked turning to West. She had seen him here and there and while she hadn't spoken to him much he seemed like a good boil. He had sat not far from her making jewelry on the Isles.

Siobhan giggled and did a spin, letting her fluffy dress and petticoats puff out like a cupcake. "Ah~ But Levi! You look like a Princess! So lovely and graceful! I admire your attire!" She stared up at the ghoul with eyes sparkling under her mask.
"I was fortunate to have a cool chic named Desu-Chan help me with my Prom attire! She is a Trick Or Treater, and ever so helpful! Although I fear I may be an accomplice to a felony now.."

"Yeah," West replied. "Good... to uh, see you." The awkwardness only lasted for a moment as his attention was drawn from the baku back to his date. He slapped at the air behind him, still unaccustomed to Levi's tendency to use her tail in every possible situation imaginable. "No, I dun want one," he muttered. West clearly recalled being forced to wear a crown in the haunted house, and he'd be damned if he would ever do so voluntarily again. He almost poked at hers again in retaliation, but turned his glare on Mitsu instead. "No," he snapped, pressing his lips together as soon as he had replied. When he spoke again it was much more controlled. "Um, I mean, I have, I guess, so sure." If he had his way, he'd be doing very little of it tonight. A faint flutter caught his eye and while Siobhan addressed the tatzel he peered over his shoulder for a moment. Ev had arrived, as had her moths. He nodded at her, wondering if she would recognize him with this mask before deciding that was a kind of ridiculous thing to wonder. It wasn't like it covered his hair or horns, after all.

Mitsu asked if she was going to dance again. It hadn't been so much of her own will to do so last time, but more of the fact that the cowboil had managed to trick her into it. Sly boil, that cowboil. Mot and that smart mouth of his.Reckon I'might. Might was all she'd offer for now given she was here with West this time, and he wasn't likely to challenge her to a dance, Levi figured. How 'bout yew? Been practicin', Mitsu? Shun could dance, as Levi recalled. He did that dance some of the boils did- hip thrusting? Some sort of celebratory dance.
Princess. Nah- I ain't no- This was sure to earn some sort of smartypants remark from the wrath demon. Levi chose to sidestep the comment. She was not a princess : | Thank ya'kindly, screecheart. Oh~ I see! So yew had 'a helpin' hand, aye? I think I remember that thar ghoul, DesuChan. From tha'festival we had 'ere. Seems like ferever'ago. Fits ya'mighty nice. Levi could only compliment; and further descriptive wording needed in regards to fashion would be met with confuseface.

The massive chandelier hanging over the large hall jingled and swayed. Christof checked his safety wire. He liked heights, honestly. This was... fun. And Amrita would catch him, right? Right. Maybe. He tried to spot her down below, got a touch of vertigo and immediately went back to making sure the wiring was perfect. Yes, yes. Perfect. The hunchback shimmied along, reaching out to shove the wires back into place. Flicker-lights, he had discovered, where not only easy to make, but amazingly safe for flammable students. They looked just like normal candles, but were powered by electricity instead of, well, fire.
Plus it wouldn't drop hot wax down on the prom-goers. Always a plus.
Just a few more to put into place and it would be perfect.
There was a creak up above him.
Christof glanced up, brows narrowed, just as the harness decided to snap, sending him plunging down to the floor with a crash.
Well, he thought to himself, dazed as his parts crawled towards him for reattachment, it was as good as it was going to be. The place looked fine.
He still needed to go get changed.

So prom.
Fantastic.
Yet another student council run propaganda event and yet here he was because his distinctly persistant canine boilfriend had decided it would be a fantastic idea to show up. Even despite the goat themed mask he was currently sporting, he looked less than thrilled to be there. Zar didn't as a rule, do events, there was far too much work to be done on his own projects, but on occasion he had to give a little leeway to keep Nuru happy.
This was that leeway.
His tail flicked irritably at his hooves as he gave the entire event a disdainful look over, filled with the sudden urge to fish out his notepad and list off safety violations. Christof plummeting to the floor did nothing to assuage that urge.

Idly, Shun placed his hands into his pockets while Mitsu mingled with a few of the others. He was fine for now, not really having much to add to the current conversation. Instead, he stood by, simply watching the others. Though, at some point, he heard a thud as Christof came falling down from somewhere above. Furrowing his brow, he stared at the Igor, then shook his head slowly to himself.
---
On the other hand, Jericho was being fairly vigilant. Yes, he was staying away from the others for the most part, but he was keeping an eye on everything. He was watching the entrant for people filtering in, as well as watching to make sure no one was going to be starting anything up.
Aside from the fact that he wasn't right at the doors, he was kind of like a bouncer right now.

( ಠ_ಠ) …wat That had been Clyde’s default face ever since he had started to get ready for the prom. Upon arriving at the prom, that was still the expression he seems to be carrying. It wasn’t that he was irritated, no he was just pretty dang lost at the moment as to what to do. This was the first dance he has ever gone to, and Jack, he was confused.
“What…am I doing.” Clyde questioned himself, running a hand through his hair.

Nuru scurried in after Zar to try and hook arms. He on the other hand was sporting a rooster-theme mask and somewhat fitting trail of feathers that mingled with his tail. He was dressed surprisingly nice for once. He didn't mind though, he just wanted to get out and have fun with his boilfriend.
He smiled huge at Zar before murmuring at him from beneath the mask, "Commonnnn~ Relax befoa ah make you."

The sudden bark of an answer from West had Mitsu staring at him with big eyes through her mask. When his answer suddenly changed to something that was a little less forceful she smiled thinking she had just caught him off guard. "I bet you would be great at it." OuO
Turning to Levi the lycan blushed slightly. "A little. I don't fall down anymore but I don't think I'll ever be as good as you and Mot." As Levi turned to speak with another ghoul that Mitsu hadn't met she smiled looking over her dress. "You said Desu-chan helped you?" Mitsu looked in awe of the turn out.
Idly the lycan's hand moved back to grasp onto Shun's making sure he was still nearby. While she did much better in a crowd than she used to it was still comforting to have him close.
