The girl that transferred last year from a public school  "Yumi, are you listening to me?" Her grandmother lectured in the limo as it pulled into the parking lot, "I did not spend months convincing your father about the importance of a decent education for you for you to not make more of an effort for networking. And those clothes..."
Yumi glanced down at the clothes she was wearing: she saw nothing wrong with the stylistically worn and ripped clothing. "Indeed, Grandmother," she told her paternal grandmother, as the limo stopped, "I thank you every day for your help. I would hate to take it for granted." With a polite smile she shouldered her handbag, grabbed her viola, and let the limo drive off to take care of her two suitcases. Yumi's grandmother had insisted on riding the plane and limo to the school with her: Yumi was thankful to return to the prestigious Crystal Cove this year thanks to her grandmother's send off.
As the limo left she caught the remark of Tessa Grey and the response of the other girl- Valentine, right? Yumi couldn't help but smile, she at least had a talent for remembering people. "That was rude," Yumi said quietly to Tessa, "but I'm sure there is a reason behind the comment, yes?"
With a shrug she walked away, catching up with Valentine and Jessi since they were headed towards the dorms. She didn't want to carry her viola all day. "A little early in the school year to make enemies if you ask me," Yumi offered as she slowed down once she caught up.((Sorry for the long intro, but I wanted to get caught up with the action so far))

 Zack turned briefly to acknowledge Valentine, but seeing that she was in such a bad mood he just shrugged and ignored her putting his full attention back on Erissa. "Senior." He said proudly putting on another charming grin. So will you be going to the party tonight?" he asked studying her with his striking eyes.Tessa glared after Valentine as she left until another voice brought her scowling to a stop. "She's a cheerleader." She said to Yumi with disgust. "She can get away with anything and everything without even trying and she this the whole world revolves around her so I do believe that I have the license to be rude to her." She said bitterly.

Jessie And Valentine ~don't act like you know us... Valentine looked at the person who walked over to her, "yumi!!!!" she cheered as she wrapped her arm around her old friend. "long time no see." she smiled. "this is jessi my brother." she pointed to jessi.Jessi smiled at Yumi, "nice to meet you." he walked next to his sister as they walked towards te dorms. "hey what is your dorm number?" he looked at his sister and then yumi"dorm number 113." she said as she looked at Yumi.Because you don't~

She turned and tapped Tessa on the shoulder. "Can we please go somewhere else, now? I don't like attention..." Erissa whispered in her ear. The girl that transferred last year from a public school Yumi had to resist rolling her eyes at Tessa's response and instead said quietly back to no one in particular, "I said you surely had a reason not asked for it." She didn't have long to linger on Tessa and her response because Valentine had already wrapped her arms around her.
Yumi smiled, managing to protect her viola in its case easily: it was worth more than three of the designer outfits most of the girls here wore. She nodded to Jessi and said, "Sounds like we're lucky then: I have dorm number 113. Of course, it might be unlucky for you, Valentine, because I still sometimes practice my music in my room." Smiling she added, "Though, last year, I used the practice rooms a lot too."

She would only play in class or when she was alone. She didn't want to bug Tessa. Zack's eyes light up hearing that this freshman did in fact have a talent that would easily start a conversation. "Really now?" He asked with interest. "What do you play?"Tessa looked to the boy once surprised that he was her brother, but she didn't make her surprise known. Seeing now that she really wasn't welcome she turned around and began to walk away. She didn't need to spend time with people she hardly cared about, but then again she didn't care about anyone. She quickly walked across the courtyard arms crossed and wearing a scowel on her face showing that she was not in a good mood. She only wanted to be in one place right now and hopefully that place would be empty.

Valentine chuckled, "well your just gonna have to listen to my singing and watch me dance all the time." she paused for a second before looking at the new girl, "hey new girl, come on I'll show you the music spot." she smiled a very friendly smile.Jessi laughed lightly as he handed valentine the rest of he things, "I'll meet you at the spot Kay?" he said before walking off.Because you don't~

Yumi nodded in response to Valentine, "That won't be a problem." She turned thinking she heard Erissa, the quiet girl, mention something about playing an instrument that Zack, the football star and senior, asked about.
She raised a brow in surprise at his question, "Why do you care? Do you know something about music, now? That's news to me from what I've heard about you. No offense, of course." The sports buffs and "jocks" tended to annoy her, maybe because she had a sort-of-stalker the previous year from the basketball team. It was so obvious Zack's attempts at flirting with the girl it was nauseating.

Erissa nodded and started walking fastly in the other direction of people. She pulled her map out of her pockets and followed the paths to her Dorm Room, knocking before walking in. Zack for a moment took his attention off of Erissa to look at Yumi. "Music interests me." He said. "I listen to it all the time on the radio, you know, Pitbull, Chris Brow, Eminem. So yes I do believe I know about music." He said smugly not knowing that he had just made himself look really dumb. He then turned to look back to Erissa but was disappointed to find her walking way in somewhat of a rush and frowned. "Well that's too bad." he said glumly, but then turned to face Valentine. "So how's it going with you? You still on the cheer squad?" He asked familiar with her through football.Tessa, before Erissa got to the dorm, quickly went into her room and got some sweat pants and a plain white tank top and left before Erissa had arrived. She carried her iPod touch with her in her pocket and tied her blonde hair up into a bun and started to walk towards the performing arts center. When she got inside she checked to make sure the dance room was empty and then let herself inside. She plugged her. iPod into the stereo system they had and then pressed play on her iPod. The song "Gravity" by Sara Bareiles began to play and she stepped back preparing for a dance she had been working on all summer. She began dancing across the floor, her movements wonderful and fluid melting into each other creating a beautiful contemporary dance. She felt herself when she dance and it also offered her a distraction.

Tessa seemed to be busy, so she went to her closet and pulled out, of her many musical intrument cases, her viola case. She set it on the bed and pulled the viola and her bow out of her case. Erissa rosined her bow before retrieving her music from her pack. She played a couple notes, making sure they were in tune, then played the songs on her sheet music. Erissa has collected a lot of music since she started in middle school, so it took about an hour to get through half of them.♯ ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬♭♮ ♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪

 Joshua pulled into the parking lot with his old rusty beat up car, sticking out like a soar thumb among all the other new cars. He got out and grabbed his duffle bag out of the back seat. He walked onto the campus, his brown eyes wide definitely not expecting the school to be this big. He stepped onto the pavement passing the group of people that were talking and through the courtyard. He has a piece of paper in his hand showing a map and his dorm number. He made his way towards his dorm not knowing that the building he was entering was actually the girls dormitories. As he walked through he got some peculiar side glances from other passing students, but he payed little attention to it. He walked up the stairs and looked for his dorm room number, but when he opened the door he was surprised to see a girl in it playing violin. He looked at her with surprise and realized his mistake. "Oh! I'm sorry." He said his cheeks flushing a little. "I thought I was in the boys dormitories. I'm sorry."

But we tryed our hardest. hows football?" she asked as she walked next to him, with yumi, "oh yumi this is jack."Jessi sighed as he walked up to his room, he knocked softly before walking in. "hello room." he chuckled softly to himself as he started unpacking his things. it had been a long trip and he was glad to get a second to relax and injoy the day.Because you don't~
