A much larger flame proved impossible for the shadows to completely fend off, searing Mephistopheles. The shadows lurched forward, almost dripping with ill-intent.

Mephisopheles' vision was already blurring from pain, and the flames weren't helping. He sent the shadows towards the ponyta.

Despite everything happening, Mephistopheles still wanted to win. He reached out with the shadows to attack Rasha, but for some reason they attack him instead.

The shadows beat back most of the flames, but some got through as Mephistopheles floated exhaustedly up to Lenore. "Thank you for your guidance, my lady. Good day to you and yours." Lenore picked up Mephistopheles as the two left.
