Bella was a little late to the party, but at least she hadn't missed it this time. She craned her head over the crowd, took one look at the guy up front that was being attacked, and sneered.
"That's the ******** who hit you, isn't it Rowly?" She growled, shaking her head. She was raring for a fight, and whether the guy deserved it or not, Bella was going to come out swinging.
"HEY, YOU. a** BISCUIT." Bella yelled out at the cloaked figure, jogging forward until she got close enough to all out run. "I GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU."
She rammed into him, headfirst. Apparently, the bone she wanted to pick was her skull, with his ribs.

Enter~Somewhere behind May, Cain laughed outright at her shout, his silver eyes focusing with not a small amount of disgust on the ghoul. "Does it look like he wants to talk?" the demon replied skeptically, his tone condescending, "Talk is for the weak trying to escape a situation they know they will lose."

"He didn't even do anything to you!" May shot back at Faysal, "He just asked us to leave and you guys attacked him. Didn't even ask why. Jack you're such hotheads! We shouldn't even BE here." She frowned and looked down.
Besides ... shouldn't they be more concerned about getting out? They were all trapped down here now ...
May put her hand in Tex's, still clinging to his arm with the other. She had a bad feeling about this whole situation.

"Who's attacking anyone?" Faysal said, spreading his hands with a broad grin. "Take it up with your Defender buddies, not me. I'm just enjoying the show. You going to man up for your precious convictions and s**t, or just whine?" He leaned against the wall.

I think this guy's looking for the rock I brought you, prof. "Quiet, May," Tex said softly. "This area's too fragile to be screamin' in... or fightin' in. Too much noise and the roof might fall in." This was stupid, he thought. "I'm gonna see if I can't dig our way out of here."

She turned toward Faysal, a serious yet cool expression on her face. “There’s nothing wrong with asking for help.” Tarot put away her phone. “We shouldn’t even be here anyways. The treasure here is cursed.” She turned toward May and Tex. “Arcana and I just texted Professor Quibble. Hopefully he’ll get it in time. He wasn't sure how he had gotten back here - but he had, somehow, following along behind the crowds of students as they clustered back into the cave. Jinhai could hear voices - a sound like rushing wind, and then -
Crack.
Shouts echoed along the cavern, something collapsing, smashing - the passageway back out, Jinhai realized with some trepidation, lifting his hand away from his face, where he had automatically covered it to block out the dust. He straightened, his lips pressing together in a thin line, and turned around.
A flash of blue. But not just any blue - a bright, glowing, neon blue that was much too familiar already. It was him, it was that stranger, and Jinhai felt his throat leap, taking a step forward, scaled fingers clenching and unclenching into fists.
"You," he said, and pushed his way towards the front of the crowd. "Where is he, where's Kato? He was with us before we met you, and now he's not anywhere to be found."

Faysal seemed to have a similar view as he did, so Cain deferred the argument to him, watching May cling to Tex in amusement. "How quaint," he offered to no one in particular, his smile dripping with that same dark sarcasm as his voice. His interest, however, soon faded from the hippie ghoul and her little text-buddy, back to the fight in which more and more of the students around them seemed to be participating. One was shouting something about Kato, who still seemed to be missing. The demon turned his attention fully on the situation at that point, interest piqued.Eavesdropping on Jinhai~

"Uh-huh," Faysal said, lazily, flipping one hand dismissively at Tarot. They were third-years, very nearly graduated - and professors weren't the almighty arbiters that they'd seemed to be when he was a snot. It might be kind of fun to watch Quibble's a** get kicked. He was certainly enjoying the action so far.

May looked down, a little embarrassed by Tex's miniature scolding. He was always thinking ahead gosh darnit. She definitely muttered something about "stupid defenders" though.
She nodded and started following him, but not before gesturing to Tarot. "Hey Tarot, let's go see if we can dig a way out, okay?" It was best to try and find a way out. May didn't want ANY part of that battle going on over there. The defenders could get beat up thanks to their hubris, and May would find a way to get out of here.
May noticed Arcana texting the teacher as well, and called to him as well. "Hey Arc! We're gonna need all the help we can get..."

Draped in her newfound shines, Callie had no intent of stopping until she figured out what this quest was supposed to be and how to complete it. Just because she didn't have any clue didn't mean she should quit - why, it was just another obstacle meant to be overcome! Thus when the golem arrived, she was toting the gilded sword over her shoulder with a big grin.
"Huh. Guess we gotta fight another dragon," she commented, espying Dabir as she stepped forward. "Oy, Your Lieginess! What happened to going on that adventure huh? Step it up!" As if to inspire him, Callie ran forward at the supposed reaper and sliced horizontally, enjoying the sensate nfo a weapon in her hands. Was this how reapers felt?

"You too, partner!" she added over her shoulder, noticing that Ashly was still in the crowd as opposed to being with most of the other Defenders in battle.HP: 50 Damage: 8

Awww man! Go figure their fearless leader would be the one leading the charge! d**k was pretty much all about that when it came to Red - why else would she have been his fearless leader?
Which was probably what prompted d**k to follow her lead, jumping right into the fray to swing one fist at the strange scythe-wielding figure.

Bella was quicker then he was. She was right though that was the ******** nut that had kicked his a** earlier. The were penguin who normally might not dabble in matters felt the need to. His a** was kicked and now it was time to kick some a**. Plus Bella was in the battle so how could he not join?
He charged the blue scythed hobo reaper with both fists at the ready. The were penguin swung his fits twice at the reaper.
Yup, all from earlier had been forgotten about how he'd been defeated the first time. Pride and simply being a deliquescent took over.
