"Moat it is, then! Haha" The idea seemed to amuse him; a boat named Moat. Would that mean it could get infested with flesh eating minipets? Hm. Actually it was a pretty cool thought, in his mind. If that happened, he'd have to figure out how to not get bitten, but it'd be worth it in the end.
"It's up to you. We can dock and go sit somewhere in the dark forest, or we can stay in the water~" It really didn't matter to him; he hadn't planned further than getting her on the boat and out on the water. "I could keep rowing, or I can anchor her and we can just sit." He shrugged, leaning down to kiss her shoulder again.

"Mmmm... Let's go for a short walk?" Lizzy finally made up her mind after a long pause, briefly distracted by the feel of Mac's lips on her shoulder, suddenly craving a real kiss. Squinting into the darkness, she tried to spot the dock, wondering if it was lit, wondering how he was going to get close enough to stop the boat. Although it was dark, she didn't have to worry about getting lost as long as Mac was there with her, even if they were about to step into a forest unfamiliar to her.
"Don't let me go, okay?" She asked, sliding off his lap to take a seat beside him, careful not to shake the boat too much as she moved.

"Short walk it is!" Mac chuckled, staying still as she settled herself beside him instead. The Reaper knew where the dock was, and so he could see it clearly through the darkness; he guided the boat towards it and only stood when he was close enough to grab it.
"I'd never do that." He assured her with a smile, making sure the boat was tied and secure. He didn't want to lose the boat - their only way back - and he wanted as little shaking as possible for when she got off. When he was sure they'd be okay he held his hand down for her. "Alright, here we go! Take your time, We've got all night~" He helped her to her feet and carefully guided her to the docks. His hand had to leave hers to hold her waist to help her up, but he stayed in the boat until he was sure she was safely out of it.
"Here, take this~" The lantern hanging off the bow was unhooked and handed to her. It was dark after all, and even he needed a light! The boat rocked and water splashed a lot louder when he hopped onto the docks; clearly he was pretty confident.
"There, not so bad, huh?" Stepping to stand beside her, he took her hand and looped it into his arm, his free hand coming to rest on top of hers. "You sure you trust me, going into a dark, secluded place with just the two of us?" He was teasing of course. Always teasing.

Lizzy held her breathe when he hopped out of the boat, her grip on the lantern tightening; while she was pretty sure that he would be able to swim up to the shore even if he had landed in the water, it did not stop her from feeling nervous... What if he had tripped over the edge of the boat, and hit his head on the dock? A million and one things could go wrong, and she wasn't the most confident person where swimming was concerned, although she was a lot less fearful of it nowadays.
"Don't scare me like that!" She pouted, poking Mac in his chest. She visibly relaxed the moment he took her hand, and although she wasn't scared of the darkness, she scooted closer towards him, finding his warmth and his presence comforting in this unfamiliar place, "What's the worst that could happen in a dark, secluded place with just the two of us?" She tilted her head, repeating the question back to him.

"Aha...Sorry, hun." Mac scratched the back of his neck when she reprimanded him, jabbing him in the chest with a surprisingly sharp finger. "I'll try not to." He was so at home in the water! Things like slipping, smashing his head and going unconscious didn't affect him anymore; he didn't even think of it, really.
"HMM...I cooould...cop a feel?" He chuckled, releasing her hand long enough to give her rear an affectionate squeeze. Whoops, total accident! He was quick to reclaim her arm as if nothing happened, though. "Ooooor I could try to take advantage of you~" Still teasing of course, but if she was open to the idea he certainly wouldn't say no. They were alone, it was dark...why shouldn't they have some fun?
"Maybe next time I'll remember to pack food for a picnic or something." Topic change, yeeeeeeah!

"Cop a-" She didn't have a chance to finish, letting out a surprised squeak, her face turning a dark shade of red. When Mac acted like he didn't do anything, she pouted, cheeks puffed out in indignation before she removed her hand from his arm in order to return the favor... Even if she had no idea what was so attractive about Mac's rear end, other than the fact that it was his, which apparently made it the most attractive rear end in the whole of Halloween.
So she gave it a squeeze... Pausing briefly to wonder if rear ends were supposed to be this firm, before giving another squeeze, just to make sure that it was as firm as she remembered it from the first squeeze.
It was.
"Can't take advantage of what is willing!" She fluttered her eyelashes at him before giggling, taking hold of his arm again with a happy sound. The lantern in her free hand was swung to and fro lightly as she allowed Mac to lead the way through the forest, "Ohhh a picnic would be lovely!"

"Twice?! Geez, Lizzy, you fiend!" Mac was nearly howling with laughter once he recovered from surprise. His laughter died down as she more or less agreed, making him seriously consider taking her up on the offer (because yes, in his head she did offer) until the picnic was brought back up. Then he paused, looking serious for a moment.
"...Actually, yanno what? I did! Sort of." The memory hit him; that little basket hidden near the life jacket under one of the seats (seriously, check the first post it's in there). He released her hand, turned and gave her upper arms a squeeze. "You stay right here, okay? Don't move from this spot! I'll be right back!" And then he abandoned her, disappearing into the darkness with the only indication he was moving was the rough sound of boots on grass, followed by boots on creaking old wood, and then the telling rush of water that came with him jumping onto the boat.

"I HAD TO MAKE SURE IT WAS FIRM AND THAT IT WASN'T JUST MY IMAGINATION or something," Lizzy replied, and in her agitation, might had said that a little too loudly; it was a good thing they really were alone, "I... I m-mean..."
She is a Mac-pervert.
When asked to stay, she barely had time to reply with an 'Okay' before she found herself alone, holding tightly onto their only source of light, apart from the moon. She was a good ghoul, standing where she was left with the same expression he had left her with. OAO

Moments later the boat rocked again, the boots thudded on the dock, up through the grassy path and finally he appeared in her lamplight. He held up the small basket, grinning proudly from remembering.
"There we go! It's not much, I didn't make a thing, but it's something. We can sit on my coat, if you don't wanna sit on the ground." It didn't matter to him; he'd sit on the ground and let her have the whole coat, but for now he was content to use terms like we. Made it feel more of a group effort.
"Now let's go find us a spot~ How about you choose?" He took the lamp from her and slid the basket down to hang from his wrist, carrying both things now. With his height he could easier illuminate the area by holding the lantern above his head; it was easier for her to find a place this way, he figured. "And if there's nothing interesting here, we'll keep walking." Further into the darkness, he didn't mind that so much.

"I don't mind sitting on the ground," She smiled, really happy that Mac had thought about this date enough to prepare a picnic for them, "Wouldn't want to dirty your coat."
As they continued to walk, she kept on the look out for a place where they could sit down for their picnic, eventually settling on a patch of grass surrounded by trees; she wanted to be able to see the sky, so that seemed like the perfect place to stop.
"So... How did you stumble upon this place?" She asked, sitting down on the ground with her legs folded under her, "Uh, assuming that you've been here before..."

"It's a coat, it's meant to be dirty." Mac chuckled, shaking his head. He played the good light source and followed her, keeping the lantern held high even as his arm started to get pins and needles from lack of blood flow. As she found their spot he couldn't help but frown at her and the way she sat on the ground, completely bypassing his oh-so-generous offer. Oh well. There were other things he could put her on his coat for! It was just a matter of time.
"Uhh..." Was his immediate answer as he dropped the basket in front of Lizzy, trying to recall just how he found this place. As he pondered his answer he summoned his weapon again, feeling around with his foot for a moment. "I was pretty young, I think. Maybe one of my first times out?" He hummed thoughtfully, finding a spot of softer ground and driving the thin end of his staff into the ground. It was buried deep enough to keep it vertical-ish, and the lantern was hooked on the slight curl the thicker end still had. "I was with my Uncle, he stopped here to rest, we went fishing...I think." They'd been several times to this dock to fish or wander around, so it was hard to tell what happened the first time. As he explained he stayed in front of the new lantern pole, making sure it would stay upright on it's own accord. When he was happy it would he returned to her, taking a seat in the wide circle of dim light.
"We used to come here all the time, and then eventually it was just me that came here. If you keep going that way you'd get to my house~" He gestured unhelpfully into the darkness, meaning of course to follow the water all the way past the dock and then some. "Though I'm about ninety percent sure you're the first ghoul I've ever brought here." The Reaper chuckled despite himself, opening the little latch on the basket; the food he brought was small. A single sandwich divided diagonally, a drink and a few snacks; everything was meant to share, apparently.

"Coats are meant to be dirty?" Lizzy asked, her head inclined towards Mac as she leaned forward, feeling around for the basket that he had not-so-gently dumped on the ground, "Why?" When she felt the handle of the basket, she tugged it towards herself, as if to keep it safe from whatever was lurking in the forest. Her attention remained on the reaper, however, watching in fascination at his every move.
"Ohhh fishing!" She beamed, kicking her shoes off in order to feel the grass beneath her feet, "That sounds fun! I mean... On skelevision, it seemed so exciting whenever they managed to catch something. Although if they pulled up a Floresce with this face-" She briefly stuck out her lips to make a fish face O3O, "They would be disappointed, and toss it back into the water... Although personally, if I ever caught one, I would give it to Amrita." Because she was sure that Amrita would take good care of it. Or maybe she should give it to Levi, since she seemed to like fish a lot.
"Really?" Despite the lack of sunlight, Lizzy sparkled a little, even if it was only for a brief moment; she was the first ghoul he brought here! That made her happy, even if she knew that it was probably something trivial to Mac. Inching towards him, she then pressed a quick kiss to his lips before leaning back, pressing her hands to her cheek, "First ghoul to kiss Mac in this place!"

"'Cause they're meant to cover us, can't do that without getting a little dirty sometimes." He shrugged, really not having a better answer to her question than that. Once everything was set up he took a seat beside her, keeping his jacket for the time being because apparently Lizzy liked the grass. He liked the grass too of course, but it seemed something of a surprise for him to see her willingly sit in an unknown forest floor.
"What you don't see is the hours and hours of nothing before the big catch. Fishing is dull as dirt, but with the right company it's not so bad, I guess." The Reaper shrugged once more, but he did get a good look at her fish face in the lanternlight, which was enough to make him laugh pretty loudly. "As if she needs more of those fail things~" He commented idly, chuckling away. Man that ghoul had problems. She must have amassed those things to make her dimwitted mind feel better.
"Yeah, but...you call that a kiss?" Mac teased, once he recovered from the surprise of the very brief lip press. That wasn't a kiss. Maybe it was a kiss from the beginning of their relationship, but not now! He put down everything he had been holding, wiped his hands off on his pants, and reached out to grab her waist, pulling her to him and, hopefully, straddle his lap. "Come on, you can do better than that~" He challenged, not letting her go.

"Ohhh, maybe I should make someone go fishing with me someday... To experience it for myself," Lizzy's thoughtful expression lasted until she felt herself being pulled towards Mac, letting out a squeak of surprise. Once she was on his lap, she pouted, finally reacting to his comment on the kiss that was given, "It's still a kiss! I don't do that with any other boil..." Turning her body to face him, she effectively straddled his lap in the process, legs curled up under her dress in a sort of kneeling position, since that seemed to be the most comfortable.
His challenge made her blush, and almost instantly, she contemplated betraying wall for grassy ground. That just caused her blush to darken, however, and she raised her hands to gently rub his cheeks with her thumbs, "I think you've made me a pervert..." She smiled, trailing her thumbs along his strong jawline before moving her hands back to interlock her fingers behind his neck as she leaned down to meet his lips with her own, knowing that he'll reciprocate.
Challenge accepted, but she thought that he was the better kisser... Clearly because he had more experience.

"I'd be happy to take you fishing." Mac chuckled, trying to imagine it and failing. "But you know, the floresce fish are all well and good to catch, but there are some fish that put up such a struggle...I've ended up in the water countless times." When he was younger, anyway. Now he knew better, but he was mostly just teasing her.
"I know you don't, but I still think you can do better~" Still teasing, as was his way. Though he did have the courtesy to let her make herself comfortable on him, his hands never left her sides, kneading his fingers gently against her. "Is that so?" Her little comment made him grin wickedly, quite pleased with himself.
He let her take her time and do this as she wanted to, and when she did finally lean in to kiss him he did reciprocate it. Both hands gave her sides a gentle squeeze, pulling her closer against him. When she saw fit to end the kiss he grinned up at her. "Now that's more like it." He approved, he greatly approved. But he also couldn't resist asking. "And why do you think you're a pervert now?" He was very, very interested in this part.
