This was it, Sparrow stretched out his wings and gave a strong flap and lifted into the air. He carefully wrapped his arms around Kerensa and lifted her along with him. When they were at a decent height he told her to open her eyes. They were flying. They had a birds eye view of the park. Even their little birdy friend joined them in the flight, tweeting and singing her song. This was perfect.

Kerensa opened her eyes to take in the view, and gasped in amazement and joy. It was beautiful, so beautiful she knew she didn't have to say anything. Instead she simply let herself take it all in. She could feel the air currents stirred by Sparrow's wings, and the warmth of the sun, a bit closer now that they were in the air, but still not too warm for them. She was seeing the world from a new view, just like in the song! She tilted her head up and gave Sparrow a silent, bright smile in thanks.

After a few minutes of flight, Sparrow carefully put Ren on the ground and landed next to her. He panted a bit and his muscles were strained from carrying extra weight. But her smile was worth it. "I've been wanting to surprise you with that all day." And to be honest he did think he could do it. He just felt so alive with her. Maybe... It was love. He blushed thinking about it.

"I'm glad you did! It was a wonderful surprise!" Kerensa assured him, still smiling even though she was now back on the ground. "I'm impressed you could carry me up that high. How long did you have to practice to show me that amazing view? It was definitely worth it!" she added, looking up at where they'd flown thoughtfully.
