Uummmm....
I guess I should have explained.
A gold shop avatar is where you can only use Items from gold shops.
This means no bundle items, EIs, R.I.G. Items and any other things that cost Gaia Cash.
But! you can use event Items~

Well... now I am in my Drummel_Musss costume so... whee!
Note: For those of you who don't know, Drummel_Musss is a combination of myself and other mod named Pummel_Musss. It happened when I stole her spirit or something, I don't know. Anyways it is outdated now.
