Takano Yasuhiko Don't fret my dear one.... Yasu shot Minerva a frustrated look on his face, much like a child would, as the elf laughed at his stomach problems. "Hey I'm serious! What is this sorcery??" He let out a sigh and leaned back up against the wall. Minerva had told him that it wasn't her doing, although the kitsune found that hard to believe. Though he had just met this odd woman, he couldn't quite put a finger on why he felt this way. His mother, Mayoko, never allowed Yasu the satisfaction of interacting with children. On certain occasions to the city, Yasu would meet the elders his mother talked to and interact with them. Otherwise he had no sort of environment around children. Even now at an age like this, he acted childish as a compromise to his lost childhood. However, he still remained a gentleman to those he had the utmost respect for.
Yasu then proceeded to pin back his ears in confusion and a tad bit of concern. Was he sick? What were these odd feelings in his fox stomach? "I'm not sick, am I?" Yasu said with a sort of puppy-dog look in his eyes. He leaned even further back, eventually laying completely on his back. Flames appeared between his fingertips as he danced them around his hand. Yasu's eyes widened as he then realized Minerva still had the necklace, shooting straight up into a sitting position once more. "Though my trick barely worked on that centaur....I would love to have that necklace back in my possession." He said eying the elf. Hopefully Minerva would not manipulate him in any way, although Yasu wouldn't quite mind if she chose to do so.
....for my demonic appearance is not what I truly am.

The magic, the original magic in this world has long died out, or went into hiding. What most people don't know, is the forest still stores such properties. The tree's were the eyes and ears for her kind. The magic, the Degen that binds them to work together as one. In these forests hold many tribes of Centaurs to elves even spires. It is in these woods that hide the most rarest creatures, and it is up to the Centaurs to protect them, much like how minotaurs protect the unicorn. ➽ No one knows why they do it, but they do anyways. much like the Centaurs, no one told them to do it, but it has been in their nature to protect something so frail as the forest. Hearing a sharp sound, much like white noise, caused for Ria'ko o stop her mindless thinking and snap back to reality, where she witness a bright heating light close to her position. Her heart skipped a beat, as her fear might have come true. They had set the forest on fire to despite her. Ria'ko went into a gallop, her hand placing a tight grip to the handle of her morning star at her side. Finally, she stopped in the clearing, ready to pull her weapon about, only to see a dark elf with a small camp fire in the clearing. Slowly removing her hand from her weapon, The Centaur was at a lost for words..
➽ A Drow in her territory? And why does he have this innocent over look about him? His kind thrive on chaos, to disrupt order, to even back stab each other endlessly out of self satisfaction. Yet tis scene showed otherwise. "Are you lost?" Ria'ko spoke while cocking her right brow. Had this elf gone mad? Why is he here on the surface if he did not already cast the spell of darkness to blind everyone in his radios to steal, torture, kidnap...Or something far worse...She came into clearing, over towering the fire as she looked down past the flames to the young elf with a curious expression.

He was going to find himself something to feast upon but seeing as this creature found him and questioned him he would have to hold off for eating for a while. He looked over and up at her and smiling a bit he shook his head. "Not really." He was a little lost but he didn't care. Honestly he liked the idea considering he could discover new thing's or go on a little adventure. That's probably what made him a little different to his kind. He was suppose to be taught on causing pain to other's but no he didn't want this path he wanted something a little more peaceful. Gathering himself he stood up and turned to face this female centaur. "Why do you ask?" He was curious to know why she wanted to know.
He then studied the features of this marvelous creature that was in front of him. He did see her earlier from that little war but he didn't have enough time to admire due to being caught in the middle of the feud. Bringing his hand's to the side of his face he moved some of his hair that was covering his right eye. He stopped studying the creature as he moved his eyes up to her own. seeing how tall she was compared to him made it slightly weird to talk to.

But the way he smiled while staring at her form, caused her face to lighten up with red. ➽ As the man spoke and also asked why, Ria'ko snapped out of it and began to look past the elf's shoulder. With her eye sight being far superior to a human, she was able to tell that he was going in a circle. Rather he realized it or not. That or these trees where moving around to make him do such things. Many possibilities. "From what I can tell you have been circling yourself.." She replied towards him, her words cut short as she watched him stare at her as though her figure put him in simple awe, like one would do if they saw a god. Maybe not that extreme, but, you get the premisses.

He was a little surprised to know he had been going around circles but then again he wasn't so good at getting out of places that he hasn't been familiarized with. "Is that so..hmm." He then was a little surprised to see her moving a little closer which made the gap between them both pretty close to being closed. His eye's shown a very bright pale yellow colour and feeling his smile fade a bit he turned his look into curiosity. He moved his head back a bit and looking past her and at her tail he was a little fascinated to see someone like her have one but then again her kind was part horse.
Looking back at her he heard her second question and that brought confusion upon his face. Him being unique now that was an odd thing to say since he always found himself nothing of the sort's. "I don't think I'd be well as you put it unique in any way." He softly said before continuing with "I think you are a little more interesting then me." He never in his life had gotten so close to someone like her before so in his interest's it was fascinating.

Sitting down he wrapped his arms around his leg's and returning his gaze back up at her he smiled once again. "Perhaps I should introduce myself my name is Feros Loki." He then looking away once again he moved his hand's over to the flames of the campfire. Rubbing them together he tried to get the coldness he could feel go away. He wasn't use to this area's change of weather so on a regular basis he would have to keep himself warm.
Letting a sigh escape his lip's he removed his hands from the fire and rested them on the soft ground. Shifting a bit he made himself a little more comfortable before laying back and staring right up at her. He wondered if she was going to stay longer considering he was starting to enjoy some newly founded company.

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway "Pray, don't come closer...
Minerva was beside herself with laughter, seeing as Yasuhiko was still under the delusion that she had put knots in his stomach. He acted quite childishly, she found, which was adorable in its own little way. It made the creature seem more innocent actually, seeing as he wasn't entirely world-wise. Even the elf, despite the stereotype put on her kin, did not have all of the wisdom in the world. But she at least knew the signs of infatuation. Perhaps this kitsune was simply never exposed to the outside world, or ignorant to it. Whatever the case, it was still laughable that he couldn't understand his feelings.
Eventually, she was able to calm down, only with a soft smile on her face as she watched Yasu's ears press against his head. It reminded her much of the few foxes that she had seen passing through Orr, and the baby fox that one of her friends had become attached to. She remembered holding and cuddling the furry animal, and its ever-curious eyes. Yasu truly was a foxman, sharing many of those qualities. Deep inside she had the urge to pet his head, but she knew better than to do something silly as that. He was much larger than her anyways, it would be an awkward handling.
Minerva didn't realize she had been staring at his ears until he interrupted the silence with a question, causing her blink and snap out of thought. She smiled, getting up and crawling over to where Yasu lay, watching as he started playing with small flames. "I am a healer, Yasuhiko. I would sense it if you were sick, and you aren't." She would've proven her point then by burning her hand in one of his tiny flames, but he suddenly shot up with realization of something at that point. He asked about the necklace he had lent to her earlier, which seemed quite important to him. To be honest, the elf wasn't sure how to use it, nor its function. Only the fact that somehow it could be used to control his actions... and she found it too cruel to treat him as a puppet. Willingly thus, she pulled the necklace from her neck and leaned closer to him, tying it around his instead. She remembered that he had kept its pendant tucked away under his shirt, so with her slender fingers, she slipped it under his tunic for him.
Minerva smiled a bit, finally giving into her desire and reaching up to scratch behind his ears gently. "You've got such nice hair." She quietly commented, smiling like a child. It had been a long time since she was able to be friendly with someone-- for ten years she had to be wary of every soul that glanced at her... but this Yasu was much too adorable for her to feel threatened.

Takano Yasuhiko Don't fret my dear one.... Yasu stared at Minerva in disbelief as she explained that she was some sort of healer but he was not sick. How absurd! This woman surely lied to him and then proceeded to not inform him of his condition. Though what had made the situation worse is that the elf had crawled to him, moving closer into his space. He didn't quite mind it an open area but with a hut as small as this made him quite nervous. Luckily the elf returned his necklace by slipping her cold hands down his shirt to conceal the necklace once again. "Y-you didn't have to return that but thanks..." Yasu's face turned a bit red as he watched her back away a bit.
The fox never truly had any sexual feelings in his life except the times where he worked as a bounty hunter. He was a well-known bounty hunter too, and kept a great reputation up by not killing those who were wanted. He made it seem that they wanted to be captured by only him, and no one else. Along the way he met some companions that convinced the poor man to enjoy himself in a place they had called a Brothel. He agreed in delight of having some fun, but was completely taken by surprise as his companions to him to a sexual place. He had received a couple of dances where the woman would tease him by slipping their hands down his shirt, and gently tugging as his belt. After he had left he vouched to his friends he would never return to a place like that...one that would lead him along to that extent...
The feeling in his stomach was extremely different from what he had felt at the Brothel, though still felt fairly similar. His eyes widened in delight as he figured out why he had these strange knots. It was the woman all along! He eyed her carefully as she scratched behind his ears. It felt good to have someone do it for him and before he knew it he leaned into her hand then eventually to the warm coziness of her lap. "Those who have seen my fox-like appearance say the same thing..." he said with a sigh of relief.

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway "Pray, don't come closer...
Minerva had noticed that soon after she had returned to the man his special pendant, he became slightly wary, even having an intelligent look in his eyes as she reached out for his ears. It seemed that he may have realized the truth behind the trouble in his stomach, or perhaps he noticed that she willingly gave up the opportunity to manipulate him without hesitation; an opportunity many others would take advantage of. Whatever the case was, she didn't quite care, enjoying the feeling of his warm head beneath her cool fingers. At one point she even found his head nested atop her legs, which sent a warm sensation through her veins. It was so very pleasant, and he seemed to be enjoying himself too. Good for him, he deserved it.
Moments later, he commented that many others had given him the same compliment. "I'm sure that's true." She cooed quietly, letting her fingers comb through his soft locks. It was peaceful, with the warmth of a hearth by her side, and the warmth of a friend against her skin. Sure, they had only just met, but deep inside Minerva was quite sure that the two would form a strong bond. It was simply something the elf could sense, especially after she had formed that mental link earlier. It wasn't active now but that familiar sensation of being bound together was strong in her fingertips.
Of course, she knew that this man could end up just as that wretched Derrik... he may simply be luring her in with his innocent demeanor, only to take advantage of her naivety. If that was what Fate had in store, then so be it. Perhaps it was simply her place in life, to be kicked around. The elf sighed quietly, considering this. What if she had gone through all that trouble, all those days homeless, simply to be captured once more? And worse yet, what if the brand upon her cheek would give her away to some traveler down the road? Thinking about those viable possibilities, her hand became slightly entangled in Yasu's hair, no longer moving back and forth. Her jaw clenched, as a horrible memory came back to her.
She remembered the second night of her capture, the night that she discovered the truth about her master. In the daytime she had been given normal jobs, as if she were just a maid or mistress. Wash the clothing, hang it up to dry, cook him his meals... Things she could deal with. Things she was used to. At first she thought things weren't bad at all, that despite losing her village, she could carry on their legacy. Until that night.
When Derrik had returned from a late night meeting with his father and the tribe's warriors, he roused Minerva from her sleep, with a rather menacing expression. She groaned at first, telling him she was tired as she had forgotten her place as a slave. He proceeded to kick her in the side, and having such strength, the woman was heavily injured. The large man began to yell, grabbing her by the arms and forcing her to stand. He pushed her against the side of his hut, forcefully tearing her clothes away...
It was then that Minerva couldn't continue to reminisce, knowing how violent the scene would become. Only now, with her eyes closed and her hands clenched, did she realize that she had been too absorbed in the memory. With her hand atop Yasuhiko's head, she had shown him the very scene she always hated to remember. He would've felt the pain just as she had that night. He would feel her fear, the adrenaline rushing... And now that it had been done, Minerva quickly pulled away from the foxman with extreme regret. "I'm.... I'm sorry, I didn't realize... I..." Her voice quivered, and in a moment she gently pushed Yasu away, making her way to her side of the hut where she held her knees to her chest. No one should have to feel the pain she had. And so soon? He would hate her for ever making him experience it.

Takano Yasuhiko Don't fret my dear one.... Yasuhiko lost himself in the moment that the two shared. It had been years since he had shared such a time of affection like what his mother had. He remembers sitting by the fire place in her lap, curled up in a ball from his exhaustion. Mayoko would then scratch behind his soft ears, telling him that he should let no one in his life take control of his soul. She sung lullabies, so sweet that it drove him instantly into sleep, giving him dreams of the green forests and the crisp air that filled his lungs as he ran free. What mattered to him most was sitting there with his mother as she gave him the gentle affection he needed as a child.
Unforgivable actions led to punishments as he felt his father's tug of Yasu's hair fling him into the corner. "How dare you harm your own mother. You're a monster, a demon, a disgrace to this family. If this happens again I will throw you out of this house." His mother objected that it was simply just an accident and that everything would be under control now. Testuhiko huffed and left Yasu in tears, as he looked at the floor in fear.
He felt that same tug from Minerva that snapped him out of his dreaming and startled the poor fox. He let out a soft whimper as soon as the grasp had gotten tighter... The elf immediately apologize and Yasu grumbled as the elf backed away. "It's fine you just kinda startled me there." He watched as she curled up against the wall. "What is troubling you?" Yasu asked with concern. He moved over to her and wrapped his arm around her fragile shoulder.

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway "Pray, don't come closer...
Minerva glanced up at Yasu as he slipped his arm around her, seeming concerned about what bothered her. At first the elf could only sigh, holding her knees a tad bit tighter as she attempted to drive out the thoughts of her abuse. She didn't want to tell him about it, and could only be thankful that he hadn't seen the memory as she feared he would. It wasn't an easy subject for her anyhow, and there was always the chance that he had heard of a runaway slave somewhere. He didn't seem to be as social as others but who knew, word of mouth could reach strange places every now and again.
For a few moments she kept up the silence, leaning gently into the man's embrace as she tried her best to calm down. She knew it was wrong to just stay silent, and that it would only make it worse to bottle up her emotions... but it was also a task to find the right words. Where would she begin? How much did he actually want to know? With a soft breath, she opened her mouth, keeping her eyes closed. "I was... remembering the past I've run away from. I was mistreated, and, I started to worry that you would do the same." She bit her lip, not wanting to say much else. Instead, what she did was raise her cloak ever so slightly, exposing legs latticed with scars; some scratches, others from whips, still others completely unidentifiable.
She quickly hid them away after a moment, feeling her eyes burn with the oncoming of tears. The woman was scarred, ugly and unattractive for the rest of her life, and unfairly too. What had she done to deserve this? A few tears slipped down her face, as she let out a long, shaky breath. Without warning, she wrapped her arms around Yasu's torso, burying her face in his shoulder as her tears flowed freely for the first time in years.
... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite." {ʘʘϾ• }

Takano Yasuhiko Don't fret my dear one.... Yasu furrowed his eyebrows as he heard the poor woman admit that she thought he would abuse her, and the way she was mistreated in her past. It felt more comforting as she leaned into him, feeling scared of the demon. He certainly had no intentions of harming the elf, and the fear from her words almost seeped off her skin. It was true that Yasu was a demon, however he wasn't really raised as one. He grew up like a normal human being, until the village kicked him out. What frustrated the demon is that Minerva would think of him in that manner, this woman surely went through hell.
Yasu caressed Minerva's head into him closer, as if he shielded her from the outside world. He sighed giving the elf an answer, "I do not know why you would think so low of me. I would never, never harm you." He wouldn't dare make her speak of her past, in fear of making her more upset. Then the elf lifted her cloak, exposing her tattered scars. He merely flinched at the sight, in complete shock of how badly they were. Grinding his teeth, Yasu asked, "Who did this to you...? I will hunt them down..."
As she buried her face into his chest, he comforted her by rubbing her back gently. He could tell she felt very ashamed of her scars, Yasu however thought they symbolized her endurance. She managed to escape whomever harmed her despite the odds... That is what made her a powerful woman and he loved her for it. Though this time wasn't for affection, the night came upon them both, and Yasu was pretty tired. "If you want, I can sleep beside you and keep you warm. It tends to get cold out in these woods..."

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway "Pray, don't come closer...
Minerva, for the most part, was too far gone in her sorrow. She had melted into the warmth of Yasu's strong arms, his soft breathing... If he had spoken any words they were just soothing to the ear, their message unheard. He offered to go after Derrik in anger of her mistreatment, an offer the elf would gladly have accepted had she realized. Alas, time has no rewind button, and grief has to ears to lend. Her tears were the only reliable aspect left, slowly but steadily soaking the kitsune's cloth, cooling upon his skin. For the next few minutes she could not bring herself to stop, almost relieved by the sensation.
But soon enough she snapped out of it, pulling away from her new friend and wiping her tears, shamefully averting her gaze. It felt wrong that he should see her in such a manner... he must think her weak, think her to be emotionally unstable. Of the villagers she had met, the weak were always frowned down upon. And the last thing Minerva needed was to have Yasu believe she was lower. She didn't voice this concern, however, as he instead made an offer. For the two to sleep side by side, sharing their heat. It was a pleasant idea, and an experience she hadn't felt in such a long time...
"I... I wouldn't mind it if we did. Just, be cautious, and wake me up if you start seeing things." She looked into his eyes a bit ruefully, remembering that she had not yet established full control over her telepathy. By mistake at any point, she could send to Yasu the very same dream she was having... or view his. For some that was too intimate of a bond, as the subconscious is much more variable than one's conscious mind. And her dreams, her dreams were always bleak and depressive. Ten years of confinement, without hope of salvation nonetheless, would do that to a woman.
Wiping away the remnants of what tears remained on her face, Minerva proceeded to lay on her side, facing the wall. If Yasuhiko wished to sleep beside her, he could do so at his own merit. Until then, it would be best if the elf calmed her nerves and settled down. Night had indeed fallen, and it was time for rest.
... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite." {ʘʘϾ• }

Takano Yasuhiko Don't fret my dear one.... For a good moment Yasu closed his eyes as Minerva leaned into him, basking in the demon's warmness. He could feel the cool streams of tears flow down his shirt and evaporated as soon as the salty water touched his hot skin. Sooner than what he hoped, the elf had pulled away from their embrace and averted her eyes away from him. His ears perked up in curiosity of what she was thinking, and her words answered him. Yasu hardly believed that she was willing to sleep next to him, especially after the reveal of her abuse in her past. She mentioned about 'seeing things' but he wasn't quite sure what message she was trying to convey to him. After she turned over to her side, Yasu slipped in next to her, wrapping his arm around her body as if she were a pillow. He closed his eyes and after a good minute the demon passed out. Entering the depths of his mind, Yasu knew that he saw eyes as blue as hers and ones that contained as much sorrow. In fact they were all too familiar to him. Back when he bounty hunted, Yasu took on one of the most well-paying bounties. He was a very well known bounty hunter throughout the community at that time, and some say that he was the best. The demon took on a particular bounty, one that paid him roughly 50,000 gold, and a simply task it was. "Capture and return this woman," the poster read as Yasu peered into the drawing of the woman. To him, the woman appeared slender and drained of energy. Her skin was very alike his and green eyes to match her clothing. No she had blue eyes. No never mind they were definitely green. Yasu thought to himself as he watched he dream. The dream continued to him folding the paper into his pants, to remind himself of her image. Yasu heard rumors that this woman was from some sort of tribe, and that she escaped with 'criminal charges'. Regardless of the tribe's business, Yasu found good pay in it and he wouldn't question them. Yet he still he had good intentions of finding this woman, unlike most bounty hunters were. The first man he asked about the woman was the man himself who put up the bounty. He went by the name of Derrik. A strange man he was and in fact he had these oddly pointed ears with grey tinted skin. Yasu never asked questions about one's race, otherwise the fox could very well end up offending them. Derrik gave Yasu a smug look as the demon approached him, and the elf cleared his throat, questioning him, "Are you another bounty hunter? Fifth one I've seen today, shame really. This girl needs to pay for what she did to me." Yasu noticed a bandage around his facial areas but did not dare to infringe on the intentions of the injury. Derrik continued, "I'll tell you this much though, she won't be easy to catch. She can be lousy with covering her tracks so that's your best bet. Last I saw her was when she attacked me, and the locals say she headed for the mountains. Gods bless her soul if she ever makes it out of there alive." Derrik sighed and left the outside of the tavern were the two met. The demon as always, left his good clothes at the tavern he stayed at. He still had to take his shirt along with his necklace, but he wore an over shirt to conceal his nobleman like clothes. He also wore a cloak to cover most of his face, but wore a dark wooden mask that represented a fox. This disguise he mainly used for hunting, to prevent people from recognizing him as a bounty hunter. He sought no glory in his line of work, and it was the only pay available to him. Now the closest mountain range nearest to the demon was that of the Serenity Valley, and a big forest it was. The fox had enough money to pay for a horse to travel, but he knew that it would not last long in those woods. He set out early in the morning with his sack of supplies, hoping for the best. As night fell, Yasu arrived to the entrance of the forest. He noticed the fires of other bounty hunters that were quite distant from him, and chose to stay as far as possible from were they were. Business with other bounty hunters could be fatal. Some were more greedy then others. He tied his horses reigns to a nearby tree, and formed the same sort of hut Minerva and him were using out of his dengen. He set fire in there, and made a bright appearance. He took his supplies with him and ventured into the forest. Being the animal he was, Yasu could see in the night time. At this time he created a distraction for the other unfortunate bounty hunters to notice and he couldn't help a smile peer across his clever face. He looked to the ground and noticed tracks, one that represent a male. The bounty hunters must've tried looking, but soon fled when night came. He peered into the darkness, seeing if he could find any sort of light. To his surprise, he saw the flicker of two eyes stare at him. Yasu crouched and awaited silently for the being to move, in case of it being an animal. A loud burst of rustling came from behind him as the dreaded bounty hunters enter the woods with torches, and for a quick second Yasu looked behind him. He focused back to that spot to see if the being move, but in that time it had moved. With great swiftness, Yasu jumped over to the bush were the creature was, and saw foot prints leading away. He followed them for awhile until he met the tracks to a dead end. The bounty hunters were getting closer from what Yasu could hear, and he frantically looked around to try to locate his prey. He turned his head to up into the trees and as soon as he did, the creature jumped onto him, grasping the back of his body. Yasu moved the earth beneath his feet and trapped the creature along with him. He removed himself from the ground as he took a glance at his attacker. It was indeed the woman with green eyes, and he successfully captured her up until this point. He moved some of the earth to make a tight binding around her hands, to prevent any means of escape. "There's the girl! Get her!" Yasu heard the bounty hunters yell as they closed in on the two. He quickly molded the earth into boulders as he launched a giant one to the group. With this bide of time, he grabbed the woman with force and threw her over his shoulder, taking he into the trees. He used the trees as an escape route as the bounty hunters were left in absolute confusion. The two made it back to his camp where he then mounted her to the horse and took off. They made it to the village by morning as Yasu took her off of the horse and placed her alone. He used his dengen to encase the woman in complete rock, and dragged the cage with his bare hands. With entering the village, he noticed the wooden huts. Most of the people seemed humble and content. Although this village gave him a weird vibe. He met Derrik in an open part of the village, were some villagers had gathered. Yasu dragged the cage to him and with a mere touch of his finger, the cage disappeared. Derrik eyed the woman closely before handing over his pay, and decided to comment, "Next time I expect her a little more...clean." Yasu bit his tongue to prevent from saying anything rude, and took the money. As he was leaving the village, he noticed a woman carrying a basket full of food. Her eyes appeared blue and in that quick moment he swore he knew her. His mask did not provide him with much vision but whatever the case he thought he had seen her before. << TIME SKIP >>
