The pidgey was playing hard to get. Cara's other competitor seemed to only be going for it to; because of that, Cara became even more determined. "Come on Pidgeot, after it quick!" Pidgeot listened and was on the pidgey's heels.

There was a sudden movement in the clouds some ways away from Cara. From the clouds burst the pidgey, going at what appeared to be top speed. "Let's go Pidgeot!" Pidgeot rushed towards the abnormally fast pidgey, wishing to catch it herself just to prove she could.

No matter how fast they flew, the pidgey was just faster than them. It didn't make any sense.

Catherine nearly collided with one of the other racers as they burst up from the clouds in pursuit of the Pidgey. Catherine gladly joined the chase.

They were getting closer. They just needed to use all the thermals and currents to their advantage. "It's all up to you Pidgeot. You know the air better than me." Cara gave guidance control over to Pidgeot, who would know best how to use the currents and thermals to their benefit.

Pidgeot did a barrel roll in order to avoid a collision with the other racer. Cara growled a bit once they were right side up again. "Come on Pidgeot, you can do it!" They sped onwards after the pidgey.
