Joou soothing rubbed her paw against his in a reassuring manner. She knew there was a lot of things going threw his mind and she had just added to it there was no doubt. "Yeah I'm sure it does. It was just yesterday she was tumbling out of her bcr huh?" she asked with a found smile as she thought back to the day.

“It seems like just yesterday we had them in BCRs.” He looked at Joou with a deadly serious face. “Joou my dear I think we’re getting old.” Unable to keep his stern look he started to chuckle a little bit. “But of course you still look like the loveliest fox in the world to me. "He liked the way her paw felt on his. It had been far too long since he’d had any kind of contact like it.

"Yeah I remember, " She said softly. She remembered the joy and happiness when she found out she was pregnant and than when she had them. She gave him a soft glare. "I am not old," She told him in a pout and pawed at him.

“Well it wouldn’t matter if you were or not, you know I’d still love you.” He kissed the end of her nose softly and went back to cuddling her chuckling at her glare. “Besides would getting old be so bad? I know I have a lot of talking to do with our daughter but I wouldn’t mind getting old with you.”

"I would hope it wouldn't matter otherwise we would have a problem," She told him in a light teasing manner. They were starting to fall into their old habits before any of the bad and hurt had happened. "Yes and no. Old means we wont be here to much longer and wont get to see our children and grandchildren. And there is alot that needs to be talked about."

Oh how he missed her teasing tongue. “Well if I had a problem I think I’d like you beating sense into me. After all some attention is better than none at all.” He gave her a rougish wink before he started to look around. “Well Joou. I hate to ask you to have to lead me around like a kit but it’s been so long I think if I tried to find anything I would get a bit … mm misplaced.” He was not going to say lost.

Joou blushed and playfully pawed him in the face for his comment. "I'll show you a beating,"She told him teasingly. Her old self was starting to peek threw her new hard shell and she didn't even know that. She glanced around at the area and nodded. "I suppose I can do that....where would you like to go?"

“Well, I wouldn’t mind if you did.” He let her paw him all she wanted. He nudged his head against hers. “Honestly I just want to be where ever you are. You are my home Joou.” Adrin snuggled her close and was fine with going anywhere as long as he was with Joou. “Shall we go see Ava?” He felt a bit hesitant to suggest it but wanted to see his daughter.

Joou was trying very hard to smile at his corny line but was failing horribly. A small smile had fought back and won because it was there. "Adrin that was the most corny line I've ever heard," she informed him though her tone was light with the hint of laughter. Joou glanced around as she thought about it. He did have a right to go see her but did she really want it to happen right now? Not really though she wasn't going to tell him that. Slowly standing up she said, "okay"

He grinned. “Of course it’s a corny line, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true.” He stood up as she did and wondered with hesitancy if he wasn’t jumping the situation to soon. He felt like he was but all the same the longer he put it off the harder it would be to meet his daughter again. “Joou I don’t mind telling you I’m a bit scared. Still I want to see our daughter. It’s been far too long.” He had a though cross his mind that if he asked Joou to hold her body against his that she just might since he admitted to being nervous. He might have try that later on her.

"I think I can argue the corny line though I'm not going to try at the moment," She told him honestly. She could fight it and they would go on for a while doing so but she just didn't want to. She didn't have the energy to do it. "I know that you want to see her Adrin but look it from her view, from my view. Here you are popping up out of no where. How do I bring this up? I don't want to just toss it on her like that what kind of mother would I be? She is running a whole tribe mostly on her own. She is young and in love and has a mate they want kits. Her mate he's a real fiery one."

“Thank you for not arguing. I’d just have to come up with an even cornier line to use then.” He looked at Joou. “I understand Joou. Still what can I do? Would you have me stay away forever? The longer I wait the worse it will get. How can we break it to her gently?” He looked at her questionably. He wanted to know the answers but didn’t have any to give to. He didn’t think Joou had the answer either. Sighing he rubbed his nose with a paw irritated with himself. “what time does Ava have to herself? Maybe we could talk to her then.” He didn’t know Ava’s schedual and Joou might since she was a part of the tribe herself.

Joou let out a sigh and glanced at the sun. It was a few hours after noon. She knew where Ava would be but the chances where Allu wasn't far away. She couldn't ignore his plea. She understood what he was saying. "She will be relaxing under the cherry blossom at this time. She should be there for another half an hour." She stood up and started walking off into that direction. Ava was curled up at the base of the cherry blossom tree. She was trying her best to relax and DE-stress but it was hard to run a tribe and even harder to run one that didn't seem to be doing so well. She had her eyes closed and was awaiting her lovely mate to arrive and be with her.

Following his mate he said thank you but it was in such a quite tone he wasn’t certain if she heard him or not. He had no idea what he was going to say to his daughter just like he hadn’t known what to say to Joou. The most he could hope for was for her to see him and hate him. At least then it would be some kind of emotion. He knew he was never going to leave Joou again, but that didn’t necessarily mean his daughter would tolerate his presence on her tribe lands all that well. He wondered what his daughter looked like all grown up.

Joou took the short cuts to the cherry blossom tree. It sped up travel time by a lot. She knew Adrin was right on her tail and didn't have to look back to confirm if he was there or not. Her pace slowed as she approached the log bridge that crossed the creak. On the other side of the creak was the bit of land that lead to other places and held the cherry tree. "Ava," She called out trying to give her daughter a heads up.
Ava had fallen into a soft doze while she was waiting for Allu. She hadn't meant to but she was tired and hadn't slept good the night before. Hearing her name being called startled her awake and into a sitting position.
