For a moment, Senga almost smiled at Roch. But smiling wasn't really his thing, so he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded. "That is all fine and well. And I do not own any of those." He frowned at the notion. "It sounds like a hassle though," he sighed quietly, turning to glance back at the alpacas again. There were so many strange things here that he couldn't help but be both intrigued and exasperated at all the time.
His attention was averted when Kiwi appeared from what seemed to be nowhere and his wings ruffled slightly at the newcomer. Stepping over to the now bucked-off horseman, Senga nudged him slightly with a clawed boot. That was, of course, before his alpaca-magnet ability seemed to kick in and the thing kicked him in the shin. <********>

Fate decided that Senga flopping on top of Jay was a brilliant idea. She let out a bird-like squawk when the war horseman fell on her. Her eyes were ready to pop out at the sudden weight on her back. Jay could only thank fate that Senga was not much taller than herself. If he had been taller and heavier…well. The horsewoman let herself whine for a few moments, allowing Senga and the wolfos to bicker with each other. She dropped her head until her chin was on the ground, her arms spread across the dirt. “Come on, Other Mr. Grumpy Face. Orders are orders.” Also she heard alpaca fur made expensive clothing. Expensive clothing was useful even though she couldn’t understand why.
Her cheeks puffed out when Senga refused to get off of her. Her arms scraped against the ground until they were crossed and propping up her head. She attempted to rustle her feathers, but Senga’s presence made it difficult. Jay settled with sighing quietly and allowing herself to become a temporary throne. Once the horseman got off of her at last she gladly rolled onto her back and began to wipe off bits of gravel and dirt from her skin.
“Woah!” Senga suddenly yanked her back onto her feet. “Okay! Okay. I got it. Jeez.” She frowned. There was more huffing when there was another potential spat, but it seemed to be solved. Smiling, she clapped her hands together and pointedly looked at Roch. “I like you. I like you more than Other Mr. Grumpy Face,” she chirped, half-nodding her head to King.
When Jay turned to look at the alpaca, she was tempted to try and hop on and ride it again, but she thought otherwise. The idea of being thrown off—and then used as a makeshift throne again—did not bode well with her. Instead the horsewoman tackled the creature.
Except it was heavier than she was and it amusedly kicked her with its back legs.

Kiwi was feeling quite eager now that he was in the heat of battle. There was nothing he loved more, or felt more comfortable doing than all-out war. Even if his adversary was a fluffy alpaca. .___.
The nudge given to him by his fellow clansman took him by surprise, however he managed a small smile to the wolf-skin clad warrior before turning his attention to the alpaca at hand.
"What say you we teach this beast a thing or two?? ..." he smirked devilishly, making a dash for the beast - who seemed by now to be eagerly gnawing at Senga's rather fine fur coat as the horseman hobbled backwards.
His feet came sliding round the alpaca's underbelly, only to earn him a good solid kick back by his fellow horseman. He coughed as dust settled on the air around him, grimacing. For such a tiny, fluffy thing, it sure packed a punch.

Well, that hadn't gone as well as he had hoped. It seemed priestesses were not the best at fighting. That was good. It meant he wasn't quite out of a job, even with the remaining members of the War clan in Halloween as well.
"Here, behind me," Mmur said, striking out at the animal and missing. He rubbed his side where he had received another minor kick. If there was one thing to be said for these alpaca, they were surprisingly speedy.

It seemed Famine soldiers couldn't fight either.

"These animals are a menace," Mmur murmured, circling the alpaca. It got in another hit, but try as he might, the horseman could not return the favor.

"This is..." He had a few choice words to describe what it was, but he was in mixed company. As questionable as it might have been to come over here in the first place, whooping like a child, it was proving even worse to lose a fight to a fluffy prancing hoofed... thing.
Mmur raised his arm again, narrowing his eyes at the alpaca under his helm. He whipped his weapon forward as hard as he could manage, and was rewarded with a metallic clang as the whip doubled back on itself, momentarily circling the animal's neck. It kicked again, breaking free, but at least it seemed slightly cowed. That was more like it.

He almost didn't feel the hairy menace's kicks any longer. All Mmur cared about now was subduing the beast, and every time he struck it, it seemed one step closer to sitting the hell down.

Erintis happily hid behind the war clansmen as he had so instructed. She was just happy that the blasted alpaca wasn't chewing on her robes anymore. Wincing slightly as she watched the clansmen get kicked, she wished that she had more time to try and preform her healing spells. But she already tried that in the heat of battle and found out it didn't work so well when she wasn't prepared.
"oh...uhm...I hope you are not hurt badly..."
She finally managed to squeak out. The stupid creature decided that was an invitation to start biting her robes again,
"OH SERIOUSLY! Do you know HOW hard it it to CLEAN these?!"
She screamed at the creature before hitting it squarely on the nose.

Blinking a few times as she successfully hit the creature she tilted her head to one side then the next, "Oh...look...it..."Looking at the clansmen that had given sweat and blood to help her she smiled thoughtfully, before turning back at the creature. Perhaps she should try and subdue it before she made introductions. She had managed to subdue the creature and felt very happy about that fact, so much so that she forgot all manners and where she was that she jumped up and down happily, "Oh! You were able to help me greatly! I shall let the head priestess know of your assistance in returning this creature to her fold!"She beamed happily at the war clansmen, frowning slightly, "I am so sorry...I have forgotten my manners. My name is Erintis, a priestess of Death. And what might your name be so that I can address you properly to the head priestess?"Smerdle THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! lol Priestess really can't fight the dice even say so...

"No, I'm..." Mmur was used to feeling worse than this, and when the priestess emerged from the (relative) safety of his shadow only to smack the creature as if it was an overly-forward suitor, all of the soldier's burgeoning bruises were forgotten. "That's the spirit!" he said, taking a step back. It appeared that the alpaca was no longer interested in kicking, but how were they going to get it back to... oh, like that. Were Death horsemen natural herders or something? "It was not a problem at all," he said, desummoning his whip and pushing his helm away from his eyes. "I am Mmur, and it has been very interesting to make your acquaintance, Erintis. In a good way." He inclined his head slightly, a friendly smile on his lips. Wyntre IceBlade yayyyyyyyyy no problem it was a lot of fun! XD and mmur's from famine but it's ok if erintis thinks he's from war because he'd probably think it's cool hehe

Smiling happily she nodded, Mmur...that was an interesting name, "Well I am glad that you were willing to help me. I know that it is a bit difficult helping other clans. You are a fine war clansmen to have as an ally."It didn't really dawn on Erintis to actually ask him what type of horsemen he was, she just figured that anyone capable of fighting must surely be in the clan of war. Keeping a firm hand on the alpaca she looked around, and finally said softly, "I really do thank you for your help...I...well I did not think that being out of my temples would be this hard."Smerdle >_< You know I should have probably asked that but mwhahaha I'm so going to run with it now

The wolfos growled at the horseman again, "I do not wear the skin of the slain, mule." He was trying to be insulting, wondering what you called a horseman..aside from a mule. Normally he'd not be so angry and emotional but the pelt set him on edge. But wolf fur... it was not right. What need did a horseman have for a pelt? None, that's what. Plus, honor-less to a claim. A perceived claim but still a claim.
The anger got worse as yet another horseman appeared to move into the gathering for alpaca. Looking at the blue winged one he barked. "I would be less 'grumpy' if one wasn't wearing the fur of kin, and your ilk did well to get your own beast!" Jaws snapped as he turned to the fluffy beast again, getting kicked in the head for not paying attention.

Roch blinked at the tirade, looking at King with a slight frown as he thought about it for a moment. Then he headed over to Senga, touching his arm. "Look," he said quietly, lowering his voice as he leaned down slightly next to the horseman's ear. "We'll get your fuzzy thing back to your clan, don't worry about that, but King over there, well, I can't say I quite blame him, y'know? If you were wearing reaper skins I'd probably be pretty pissed off, too. And hell, some of my favorite people have fur when they ain't in school, see? It isn't that you're not welcome--we know better than anyone what you've gone through, but you might look into a less... furry outfit for when you come by. If you would." He was PRETTY sure the furs weren't from King's family, for one, he didn't think they were ghost furs, and for another, he'd never heard of many horsemen hunting in Halloween--other than what Willow had once said. But still.

Senga flicked a wing at the derogatory name, wincing slightly at the harsh tone. "Mule?" He repeated, frowning, "thats an... interesting word." It wasn't as though he felt like the wolfos was anything much of a threat, but he was very opinionated. His lips turned downwards, wings rustling as he glanced down at the pelt. It had been made for him as a gift, something to be cherished and respected as well. It wasn't as though he'd meant insult -- ahhh, why were these students so confusing to deal with?
The touch wasn't entirely unwelcome, but Senga looked at the other with nothing short of silent alarm, jerking like he'd been burned. It was unnatural here; he was not used to anything here. Simmering quietly, he shook his head at the words. "I don't need your welcome." He rumbled quietly, but the voices in the back of his head shouted liar over and over again, "I meant no offense. Your customs and ways are different than ours. There is still a lot to learn about your... kind." He shook his head, allowing the hood to fall back and reveal tawny strands. "I think the insult is permanent though, whether I change my wardrobe or not." Ruffling his wings, Senga gave a tentative few flaps and sighed, looking over at Jaida.
At least she was getting something done.
