Sonic smiled, "Sweet, just follow me." He winked. He then nodded "We have human comrades too. You see one of us want to fight either side... That's why I made a sanctuary for those who take refuge..." He began walking.
"Sonic The Hedgehog. Target." A metallic voice spoke and a laser shot at Sonic, who dodged it easily.

Sonic looked over and grinned, "Well, if it isn't Metal!" He crossed his arms, "Been a while since we has any fun!"
"Chaos Emerald located. Hand over the emerald or be destroyed!"
Sonic took out the emerald, "Oh this? Wouldn't it hurt to say please?" He shrugged.
Metal Sonic charged at the blue hedgehog, who playfully dodged the robot's every move.

Sonic laughed as he jumped around, dodging every move of the robot's attacks, "You're too slow! You're getting too lame for this... come on! Is that all you got?"
Metal kept on attacking but then stopped suddenly.
"Huh? Gave up?" Sonic grinned again.
The robot's body instantly glowed red and blasts at Sonic, who barely dodged it.
"Whoa! That's new!"

Sonic then ran towards Jewel and grabbed her, "Just hang on!" He said and jumped from side to side, avoiding the lasers being shot by Metal Sonic.
