After a swift whack sent the creature dissipating, she chuckled at what he said, "You and me both..." She had always imagined dying alone anyway, since in her mind, sooner or later, Jeremy and Dean would get married... And leave.
She wouldn't even have cats.

"What?! NO." That was not something he wanted her to take away from what he was saying at all as she finished off the monster his expression was pretty much neutral-yet-annoyed with all the things at the moment. Was there anyway to stop her from talking? To shut her up for at least a minute?
...Yes. Yes there was.
On an impulse, sudden and perhaps unexpected for the both of them, he grabbed her arm and suddenly kissed her straight on the lips. The act had been with the intention to stun her into silence. The kiss lingered for a long moment before he just suddenly stormed on ahead. That should shut her up.
It wasn't until he was a couple of steps ahead that he started blushing like a maniac and then pulled the cowl over his face. "FFFFFFFF." Guess who realized what he just did on impulse!

The kiss was unexpected, yes. So unexpected that she might had just stood there all poker faced as it happened, although her eyes had widened ever so slightly in mild surprise, mostly because she never thought that Jude would have the balls to do anything like that. However, seeing how she was Ariane, once Jude had stormed off ahead, she touched her lips... And then burst out laughing.
"YOU'RE BLUSHING LIKE A BRIDE NOW, AREN'T YOU?" She teased, unable to resist walking up to him, just to see if she was right or not. Lo and behold, he really was blushing away, "HA! I WAS RIGHT!"

He tilted his body away stubbornly, "No!" he cried out trying to hide his face though it was futile, she could see the red tone under the tanned skintone and it didn't help that he was acting so damn mortified over what he did. He crouched down and pulled his cowl down over his face as far as it could go hiding his face.

Ariane continued to laugh, tugging at his cowl as he crouched down, "Awwww, come on! Judy, it was just a kiss! You weren't even that good." Did she just go there? Yup. She just went there.

Wait, why the Hell did that bother him? He felt her pulling and tugging at his cowl while she laughed at him as he hid his face as best as he could as he shot back at her, "You weren't that great yourself."

"I wasn't that's why i--," Speaking of clearing things out one suddenly came out of seemingly nowhere and barreled right into Jude knocking him out of his crouched stance and right into a nearby wall.

She stared at the creature, and just as it started charging towards her, she swung her weapon, sending it flying to a wall as well. However, unlike the others, this one did not dissipate with just one hit.

Jude recollected himself onto his feet again and he made sure to have his weapon in hand and then he tripped falling over again instead of hitting anything. Way to be Jude. STAT BOX JUDE STATS HP: 50/50 DMG: 0 Charge: 0/3 MOB STATSHP: 3/10 DMG: 3 (auto damage)

Familiar feeling of Ariane's hand on his rear end as he regathered himself while something snatched at him with claws and teeth. He just grunted a bit in response to Ariane. The creature was no more, as Ariane dropped one end of Kintama onto it. Then, she rolled Jude over - seeing how he was being utterly useless - and pulled him up, before pinning him against the wall. Now, I would like to say that the roleplayer typing this post up does not have a wall-fetish. Really. Really. Even if this is the second character she had written in a wall-scene.

Suddenly he was up against a wall with Ariane pinning him against it and, honestly, he was too grumpy to care much to be mortified or to continue blushing over the whole ordeal after she spoke at him, his expression was neutral if anything as he stared at her and he just simply said, "You suck at it. Really badly."
That's right. He went there. If she can go there so can he.

She raised an eyebrow, and put a hand on his cheek, her free hand pressing against the wall to cut off his escape route. Then, she leaned in, her eyes closing as she pressed her lips against his, tilting her head a little to fit better. After a few seconds, she leaned away, smirking before walking down the corridor.
