TG smiled and turned his claw over, showing her a brightly wrapped candy. "My, Danny. You got it on your first try. You must be VERY clever." He said, smiling to her. Of course it was a game of chance with 50/50 odds - normally.
TG slipped his left hand into his pocket, dumping the other candy back for safe keeping.
"Here is your prize." He said, offering her the candy. "You earned it for being such a smart ghoul."

Danny lit up like the thirty-first of October.
"CANDYYYYYYYYYY?" she squealed, diving for his hand and hurriedly unwrapping it. She put the candy in her mouth and sat idly, being praised like a dog. She was practically wagging her tail at TG's compliments.
No wait, she was wagging her tail.

Well, that was easy. She was back to being happy which meant their meeting wouldn't be soured.
Rising, he offered her his card. "Here's my card. Call me when your odd little group assembles." If they were as easy to control as Danny, it would only give him more contacts in his growing list of associates.

Danny nodded obediently, though she really had no idea why a card was being given to her. Was it supposed to be kindling for fire or something? She tilted her head, but tucked it into her pocket.
She made no movement to rise though, instead scooting back over to where her guitar was, grabbing it and picking at the frets once more. "Um okay. I'll call you when we have a ... assemblies." She wasn't sure how she was supposed to call him considering she didn't have his number (making the connection between the card and the number was too big a leap).
"Are you going somewhere?" she asked with a pleasant, empty smile on her face.

"Depends..." He said, moving over very slowly and carefully to retrieve his violin and bow from the ground beside the imp-eating beanbag chair. "Is there anything else happening here?" He eyed her guitar. "You heard me play. What do you have?" He asked, moving over to find a piano stool and smoke teleported up to sit upon it.

"Have? I don't-" She noticed TG was staring at her guitar. Ohhhh. Okay okay.
Danny smiled and said, "Oh! Well there is this one song I've been working on ... but its not very good yet so don't laugh okay?" She got up and slid the amp over to where she'd been sitting before, plugging it in and making the necessary adjustments.
After she was good and hooked up, she threw herself back on the beanbag and looked up at TG, and then back down at her guitar. "Okay seriously don't laugh!" she chided with a smile. Then she began playing.

((Sorry I let this slip through the cracks!)) TG hoped up on a nearby chair and prepared himself for something either very bad or very simple. "I won't." He said, but though that he would mentally. He regarded her softly, but was already mentally rubbing his hands together to just roast her.
What he got instead was a very complex, elaborate tune that, as a fellow musician of strings, he recognized wasn't easy. Sure, it was no violin, but it was still a very layered piece.
He listened quietly.

Danny stopped about 3/4 of the way through, abruptly and all at once. She scratched behind her head and said, "Uh that's uh. Kind of all I have."
Hey at least he wasn't laughing.
She noticed the demon was being rather quiet. "What!"

"What age did you play the guitar, and how did you learn again?" He remained on the chair, unmoving aside from his tail curing in and out.

Danny blinked a few times, "Ummmm I think I was ... 8? I'm not sure ..." She was totally sure. Absolutely sure. She just wasn't about to open the emotional can of Oersted onto poor TG, or herself.
"I uh learned by just ... playing stuff I heard on skeevee ... I don't really know how to read sheet music and stuff." Her voice trailed off, but it quickly came back, as she amended her statement. "But Roch is teaching me!!"

Danny's head tilted a little. "My ... parents bought it for me? It was mine I guess ..."
She pursed her lips a little. "Why?" The goofy smile was back.

"I thought you had a tutor or some mentor helping you along. I don't know why your parents would buy you a guitar if they weren't going to give you lessons. Did you ask for one?" Had she shown an interest or had they pushed the instrument on her like he had been done with the violin?

Danny continued to scratch her head. "Um I just asked for it ... and they gave it to me." The concept of working something was so far out of her mind it was a tad pathetic. Danny had always received things she asked for. She was a demoness brat.
"I dunno, I just like the guitar ..." If she really thought about it, it was the reason she'd made her best friend, and the reason she'd met her boilfriend. She owed the guitar a lot.

Hmm. So her family had enough money for her to get just what she asked for. That was a good sign. Children of wealth were exactly the times his parents wanted him to meet. It meant good business, and Danny was easy on the eyes.
"I like the guitar too." He admitted, picking up his violin and bow and inspecting them for any damage from dropping them. "My parents prefer the violin." And that was that. Sometimes even brats didn't get what they wanted.
