Danny cuddled up to a pillow, finding herself feeling sleepy, but restless just the same. The mark had sort of taken something out of her- maybe it was her FEAR, maybe it was something else. Either way, the bed was sounding rather nice right now.
Yin was saying something, but Danny was paying attention to something else. She couldn't help but feel that something was off- something was different in comparison to when she'd first arrived at the door.
All at once, she sat up and looked at Yin. "Yin the voices are gone!" she blurted, "No more voices!!!"

To be quite honest Miss Danny becoming distracted was nothing completely unexpected. Yin could see that she was tired, and there was no reason why she should not sleep if she needed to.
But her announcement was an exciting one. He straightened up, and looked at her? "Gone? Oh Miss Danny that is wonderful news." He was genuinely pleased for the ghoul, and for the first time he managed a rather genuine smile. It was a reminder that maybe things could get better, for all of them.
If only voices were the problem he was dealing with. He glanced down and the mark on his hand stared up at him. If Miss Danny could get past insanity....well he would just have to do whatever necessary to take care of his own issues. So that he would be there to protect her, or to keep his promise.

Danny beamed a little, cherishing the fact that her voices were now gone. She felt remarkably better without the odd hissing noises in the background of everything. How long had they been gone? She hadn't even noticed until now. When she looked back up at Yin ...
"Yin you smiled!" she said excited, and then reached over to keep the corners of his mouth up with two of her fingers. "Ahhhh look how cute your smile is!" she teased, still not letting his mouth go.
Yup, Danny was definitely back.

There was no longer any doubt in anyone's mind that this was Miss Danny. Anyone else might have caused Yin to break out in a nervous sweat but what she was doing was...exactly what a scareling would do. And she was apparently quite happy with Rikki, so there was nothing for him to worry about.
That did not mean that he was not embarrassed by her actions. "M-Miss D-Danny!" He pulled back a bit, determinedly trying not to smile.

Danny let go of his mouth and instead wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "Thanks Yin," she said seriously. She was happy that he was willing to indulge her in her stupid favor, and listening to her and EVERYTHING.
She loved her gay best friend okay.

For just a moment Yin did not do anything about the hug. It was unfamiliar in its warmth, but even so for just a moment he could pretend. Then he was pulling away from her. "You are welcome Miss Danny."
If only Miss Danny knew that he really was not exactly a gay best friend.
