Terpsichore nodded in agreement to Eilam. True, licking never hurt a person, but transference could very easily. If she were a more feminine girl, the thought may have made her shudder, but instead she was too amused by it to take offense. Her hazel eyes brightened as the arceus boy recollected what the band of exeggcute were like, and it only made Terp want to meet them all the more. She was quite the curious individual, and when this nature was paired with that of an outgoing social butterfly, the urge to meet people was sometimes almost overwhelming. "Oh my gosh, are you serious? That's so bizarre, and strange, and... so cool!" she exclaimed, nearly flailing her balled hands in exuberance. Oh, but a lady should be more conscious of her behavior! Actress mode set in again, and she attempted to clear her throat and regain composure, "Erm... aaanyway... Sounds like they are a very fascinating bunch of kids! Not only that, but you managed to snag that many friends in one swoop! That's quite the feat, mister!"
She thought about what Eilam said about her being able to help in some way. Honestly... it sounded a bit cheesy, but then again, she could see where he was getting at. Determination could lead to some very helpful results! She beamed at that, excited to know that she may just manage to be of aid after all; it certainly made her feel more important of a person! "Well then, in that case, I will definitely try my best, no matter what the situation is!" she giggled.
The pensive atmosphere was beginning to make the shroomish girl feel a bit gloomy, but Dea's explanation on their plan of action now seemed to lift her spirits back up. She glanced to Eilam to take note of all the characteristics he showed of a pokémon, and truly, he did show just as much bizarre features of a pokémon-child as anyone she had seen. "Well, if that's the case..." she thought a moment, "do you have any idea what a normal Jirachi is suppose to look like?" Terp herself had never seen one before, and it seemed that many Gaians hadn't either.

The smile did not leave Eilam's face as the other seemed excited by what she had just learned about the Exeggcute group that he and Dea had met. He remembered being confused when one of the group had spoken and he had not thought to look down.
"Yes, they were really an interesting group to meet and between us, do not let Ajax fool you. He may be small, but that is one boy that totally knows how to run. I figured because of how small her was, I would be able to beat him. Seems he proved me wrong and the two of us tied in the race we ran. Maybe you will meet them yourself one of these days and can make that many friends in one full swoop. It would be good for you to try your best, you seem like a pretty hard worked to me,"Eilam smiled.
"From what I remember they look like this,"Dea replied as she got out her Pokedex and skimmed through it. She found the picture she wanted and handed it to the Shroomish girl.

Terpsichore tapped the side of her temple with a wry grin at the warning, "Alright, Ajax? Got it down. I will try to remember that one, should I ever run into the group." She giggled at his retelling of the events that had transpired between him and the doll-sized poké-human, "So did he fib to you about how fast he was, or did you just assume based on size? Speedy little guy, wasn't he?" The girl tried to imagine how fast his legs must have been moving for one of such small stature to outrun Eilam. Had the arceus been taking it easy on the member of the exeggcute based on such assumptions, or had Eilam been trying his fastest at the time? It was all so fascinating! Her grin was brimming, "I would love to meet them! I certainly do love meeting new people, new faces, new personalities like that!"
She seemed to blush at the compliment that was given to her, "Aww, thanks! That's really sweet of you to say! I do try to be helpful, but I'm not all that strong, so much of what I try to help with doesn't really go as planned. At least, as helpful as I'd want to be. Does it really show?" Although untrue, it felt like much of her hard work fell to the wayside without people noticing or thanking her. Having someone she just met notice it made things feel all worthwhile, and she glanced to her slightly reddened hands with a smile.
The brunette perked when Dea pulled out the pokédex once more, eager to see what this elusive Jirachi looked like. She eagerly grabbed hold of the contraption to get a better view, and had to stop herself from laughing at what she saw. "Ohh, a star! Well wouldn't that make all the sense in the world, if that's what it looked like!" she giggled. She made a mental note to thank the little guy should she ever run into anyone that looked like that. After all, Jirachi is the one that made her dream come true! "Thanks for letting me see!" she nodded as she handed the dex back to Eilam's guardian, "So have you talked to people who have seen one before? Or was it second-hand knowledge?" She was full of so many questions!

Eilam nodded his head, letting Terpsichore know that she had the name right. He laughed lightly and rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment as she asked about what made him think Ajax was not as fast as he thought.
"To tell you the truth, I got a little too big for my britches and kind of assumed he was not so fast because of his size. I thought I would have the upper hand because I was quite a bit bigger than he was. Unknown to me, he knew the area quite well and knew how to use special paths to his advantage,"Eilam laughed.
"Yes, that was quite a race, from what I could see of it,"Dea recalled with a grin.
"I was also trying to get used to running with my human body, so that probably didn't help. I gave it my all and I am glad we tied. Yes, it does show quite a bit that you are a hard worker. I mean, you were out here doing something for your trainer,"Eilam pointed out.
Dea took her Pokedex back from the other and put it back in her bag.
"I have heard some people mention that they have seen Jirachi before, even I think I have seen one here and there,"Dea answered.

Terpsichore wore a wry grin on her face, as thought to smirk the words, 'I knew it!' However, the words that she did end up using wouldn't have managed to push quite so many buttons, "Well, really, it's understandable. I don't think anyone would really think someone so small could move very fast at all, in comparison to one our size." She gave a bit of a shrug in understanding, and then laughed at the further explanation, "Oh ho! He pulled a bit of a prank on you, then, didn't he? Quite sneaky! Also a rather intelligent move, and quite unexpected. Hee, that must have been exciting!" Her hands were now wrapped around her ankles as she sat cross-legged to listen, intent, "Ahh, that's a good possibility that that could have contributed to it. Do you think if you had full control of your legs, you could have outrun him, then?" Truth be told, Terp still hadn't gotten the full hang of running around with such long legs, and still stumbled from time-to-time merely walking, but it was a quick learn.
She winced slightly, glancing down and rocking in place. "Well, actually, I had already helped him as much as I could. I was out here because my hands hurt from lugging things around. Rope burns sting, did you know that?" she giggled quietly, "I was just seeing if the stream nearby would help make them not hurt so much. You know... because they're called burns." It didn't help, though, unless her hands were still in the water. Oh well.
The shroomish girl perked at the mention of Jirachi sightings, and leaned forward a bit as she stopped rocking on her perch. "Really? Any idea how long ago those sightings were? Those could be good places to start, if they were recent enough!" she suggested, though she knew the idea had probably long since been in the two's minds with the initial inquiry.

Eilam put his arm down and looked thoughtful for a moment, trying to think about if he would have been able to outrun Ajax had he been more used to legs.
"I am really not sure, since I do not know how fast I can go in this form. I also have learned not to underestimate Ajax, so he probably would have tied me anyway. I will admit, I quite enjoyed the race and it definitely helped me stretch my legs. Yes, I knew how rope burns can sting, felt them myself when I have helped Dea before. The name burns is a bit of a misnomer, I guess, water doesn't usually help when it is a friction burn,"Eilam spoke gently.
"Nothing lately in the way of anyone seeing Jirachi, at least no one we have met. Usually they find the stars, like we did, and that's when the change happens,"Dea spoke.

"Sounds like you learned a very valuable lesson that day, to me," Terpsichore pointed out with a nod, "I don't think you'd be so willing to jump to conclusions about anyone else after that little encounter, huh? I love it when that happens. In a way, it opens your eyes to be more perceptive with new things!" Her dreamer side was starting to show, as an unabashed optimist.
Terpsichore made to wipe the palms of her hands on the sides of her thighs, as though it could help ease the irritation on her skin. Alas, it seemed to only make it worse, so she immediately stopped. "Ahh, so Dea has had a use for rope since you turned into your current form, then?" she grinned, "I never knew it before because I hadn't the reason to have the experience. Not sure if you've ever seen a shroomish like me before as a pokémon, but we are kind of lacking in the... arms department." She giggled, and nodded her agreement to Eilam's observation, frowning at a palm, "Yeah, it would have been nice to know that before I tried it. I think all it really does is tear up the skin. Man, it feels like thistles!"
The girl thought it over a moment, but found that it might be a bit difficult for anyone to relay how long ago something was spotted if it had been a while. "I wonder how fast Jirachi can move..." she mused to herself, "or if it has a home somewhere where most of the sightings originated?"

Eilam nodded his head, he had learned a very valuable lesson about not jumping to conclusions about people.
"Yes, I will try not to make judgments again so quickly like I did in the case of Ajax. He taught me that it is best not to underestimate another, no matter what they look like. It just goes to prove that saying about you not being able to judge a book by its cover. And yes, Dea had me helping her hang up laundry when we couldn't get to a laundromat and our clothes needed washed. Dea tries to be prepared for anything, says you never know what could happen. I believe she has some lotion that will help that burn, if you want it, "Eilam suggested.
"I am not sure how fast he can go, but I can imagine it is pretty fast. He is probably like a shooting star, he can get places quite quickly,"Dea replied.

Terpsichore was happy to hear the proclamation that Eilam made; assumptions were always so easy to jump to that most people tended to miss implications when those conclusions were wrong. The girl was glad to know that, although the arceus boy was all-powerful as far as pokémon were concerned, he was capable of acknowledging when he was wrong. That was so difficult to find in the presence of power! "You'll be sure to remember that group of individuals, then! That's a very important lesson, and one you'll probably value for the rest of your life. It might make it easier to talk with people, too, and know them for who they really are on the inside," she elaborated, drilling it into Eilam as much as she was with herself. She knew that she was capable of assuming too much out of others as well, especially with those closest to her, so needed to be reminded as well as anybody.
She blinked, turning her head to think about that with a nod. Of course! Laundry! She seemed to have forgotten that Dea seemed to travel as often as Nix did. "Ah, okay, that makes sense! Bet that wasn't a very pleasant realization to come across. I know it wasn't for me!" she said with a cautiously amused chuckle. Surprised, Terpsichore hastily nodded in acceptance of the offer, "Oh, you have lotion? That would be incredibly helpful! Thank you very much!"
The shroomish child bit her lip, realizing that Dea made a good point. Jirachi was basically the pokémon embodiment of a star, and even though comets were different, they weren't so much when it came to the pokémon world. "Augh, you're right..." she sighed, "Well, that puts us back to square one, doesn't it?" She made a wincing smile before waving it off, "I'm sure you can figure something out. You both are really smart!"

Eilam smiled and gave a nod of his head, it was always best not to jump to conclusions about anyone you met. Eilam knew he wasn't happy when anyone thought that he was going to be stuck-up because he was a powerful Pokemon. He just had to remember that, since sometimes it was so easy to judge someone before you really got to know them.
"Yes, it would make people easier if I am not judging people, just as I do not wish to be judged. It is just one of those lessons you have to work on, since it is so easy to look at someone and think you know who they are. No, it wasn't very pleasant, it really stung, but luckily my trainer knew what to do,"Eilam laughed. Eilam watched Dea reach into her bag and rummage around, before pulling out a bottle of lotion. He watched his trainer hand it to Terpsichore and he was glad she was always prepared for things.
"Well, we are bound to run into the Jirachi sooner or later, it isn't like it can hide forever,"Dea spoke.

"Oooh, that's a good way of thinking!" Terpsichore exclaimed, pounding a fist into her other waiting palm, "What was it that people say... oh, 'treat others the way you wish to be treated,' yeah! What was it... that humans called that?" There was a title to the rule, indicating that it was a very important lesson to keep in mind, but the name of it seemed to be escaping the shroomish girl at the moment. Ah, at least she remembered the important part!
She cringed as Eilam relayed his own experience with rope burn, nodding to indicate that she understood it completely. It was definitely not a pleasant feeling! Before she managed to say anything, though, the bottle of lotion was offered to her, and she instead changed her words to match. "Thank you very much!" she chirped as she handled the bottle, putting a dollop on the palm of her hand before closing it and handing it back. As she rubbed it into her sore hands, she winced slightly as the momentary tingle of pain ran across her skin before the pudding-like substance started numbing the sharpness. "Oh, that's a relief," she sighed with a grin.
Giggling, Terpsichore found that she couldn't argue in the face of such determination that Dea emanated. "That it can't, that's for sure. All these stars are coming from somewhere, and maybe it'll slip up sometime," she agreed. A frown crossed her face at the thought of something else before dissolving, "Do you... happen to have the time on you? I'm afraid, by the looks of the sky, I probably shouldn't stay much longer, lest someone begin worrying for me." She didn't really want to leave, these two were so very interesting! Responsibilities sure could be a bother...

Eilam thought about the name of the rule Terpsichore had mentioned, snapping his fingers as he remembered what it was called.
"If I remember right, it is called the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It is a very good rule to follow and one Dea and I are always trying to live by. Oh and I am glad the lotion helped, I know those rope burns can drive a person crazy,"Eilam admitted to her. He watched Dea reach for the lotion when Terpsichore handed it over and Dea returned it to her bag. He saw her look at her watch to see what time it was.
"I am sure that it is only a matter of time before he is found, we just have to be patient. Also, it is a little after 4:30 in the afternoon, so it would probably be best if you hurried home. I am sure you don't want anyone worrying about you,"Dea smiled.

Terpsichore's eyes brightened as she nodded vigorously, tapping her index finger at the air to emphasize her agreement, "Oh yes, yes, that was it! I really should get the names of all these things memorized -- at least the important ones!" 'Golden' made so much sense, she felt a little silly that she didn't remember it! The girl giggled, "Yes, that's how it was phrased. It sounds so much more regal when you say it like that! All the better to get the point across that it's etiquette!" She really did like the rule, and had been following it before even realizing there was a title to the act.
"Thank you so much," she beamed, her hands already feeling much better. She flexed her fingers to test them out; they were still a bit stiff and sore, but definitely more manageable now. "Maybe I should lay off trying to carry a bunch for a day or so," she mused, knowing if her team were going to move she wouldn't have that option to make. Oh well, her hands would get a rest sometime relatively soon, she'd just have to bite the bullet until then.
The shroomish child nodded in agreement, though she honestly wished she could have been of more help in their search for the elusive, pokémon-shifting Jirachi. "Hey, you two, don't be afraid to ask for a hand if you ever need it. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that would be willing to help, okay?" she requested, not liking the idea of these two taking on this whole fiasco on their own. Maybe she could get Nix to look into it, though she doubted it -- the man was too much of a workaholic as it was, she was sure she wouldn't be able to get his attention diverted long enough. Wincing when the time was relayed to her, she verified, "Is it really that late? Gosh, I've been here for a couple hours, haven't I?" She giggled, not all that sorry about the detour, "Well, at least I got to meet you two! Hopefully I'll get to run into you both again, eh?" Bouncing to her feet, she dusted off her shorts as precaution and heaved her bag to her shoulder.

Eilam smiled softly at Terpsichore as she spoke, glad she was not feeling too bad about forgetting what the rule was called.
"Do not worry, we all forget what things are called when we are not thinking about it. The important thing is the following of the rule, not so much about what it is called,"Eilam assured. He saw Dea reach back into her bag and pull the bottle of lotion back out.
"Here, take this with you, it might help you if you need to carry more things. I can get some more at the store, so do not worry about taking it. I think you are going to need it more than we will right now,"Dea told her brightly.
"We will be sure to ask for help whenever we need it, since it would be nice to have some help. I hope we will meet again as well, we have enjoyed your company today,"Eilam spoke and Dea nodded her head in agreement.

Terpsichore nodded in reply, though her head felt as though it were stuffed with a bunch of junk, "Yes, we all have times where we can't remember something. It's just... there's so much to learn! I haven't been learning about human society very long at all, maybe a few years. There's just so much to absorb, it can be overwhelming!" She smiled sheepishly at that, but giggled all the same, "Yeah, as long as the important part is remembered, that's what counts! Wouldn't do if all I remembered was the name of the Golden Rule, and not what it was all about! That would just be silly!"
The girl stiffened a bit at the offer, glancing down at the bottle of lotion in Dea's hand and then back to the woman. In truth, she was always taken aback when people offered something to her without her needing to ask, and it made her feel a bit badly when she couldn't do anything in return, "Are... are you sure? I don't have anything I can really give to repay you for that..." Perhaps if she had been able to actually give them some helpful information, it would make her feel less badly about it, but she didn't feel like she contributed quite enough. Her backpack was mostly empty, save for a few items used for packing, items such as rope, twine, packing tape, and similar. She didn't even have any money, for she didn't really think about needing it.
She grinned as the sentiment was returned, though, glad to know that she wasn't the only one who found this talk greatly entertaining. "Man, you two are so nice. It was a lot of fun, thank you very much for it," she chirped.
