Xi carefully read the text that she had gotten and was cool by it. Tho she did have to wonder about only five of them could make it off then island and if there might be other teams too that were included in the five. One thing Xi knew that she wanted to survive.
Watching the hand rise up, others attacking it and some retreating from the hand. Xi wasn't going to flee as she wasn't going to abandon her team if she could help it as right now as she was no coward.
Not really having a weapon like some of the others had since she had picked up extra bandages so Xi thought her fist would have to do and to which she missed hitting the boss hand. But the hand smacked her for some good damage.

Five would live. Epsilon desperately wanted to be one of those five. Fighting some giant earthen hand did not seem to be the best way to go about this. She scrabbled past the others, tripping before she could make it out of the tent. Quote: Weapon - Club HP - 26/30 DMG - None. Escape Failed

He moved up alongside another member who had been attacking closely to the dirt hand, wildly stabbing and clawing with a small knife. It didn't exactly look safe, and it wasn't doing the ma....woma....PERSON any good. The fast jabs were turning sluggish.
Moving up behind the man, he gave his shoulder a pat. "You should fall back before it swats you like a mosquito." He suggested. Aiming, he shot another BB but missed entirely. Damn.

"Drats." He huffed, trying to aim again, but the hand, despite it's size, was moving about to swat and slap anything in it's way. This had him on edge, and he slowly started to fall back, but despite his size, the hand was hard to hit. Then again, it could be all the shaking his hands were doing.

He waited, trying to steady his hands and aim for the center, guessing that a hand of dirt really didn't have any weak spots. There were no eyes or heart or anything. In fact, he had no Earthly (no pun intended) idea how this thing was even moving! Was there radioactivity in the air that made the ground mutate and was that why they had suits?
Aiming, he fired again, nicking a finger.

He breathed deep, firing once more, wishing that despite it what might say about him, that he was better with a gun. Still, he knew the object in his hands felt odd to him, but it was the only thing keeping him from being punched in the face by the biggest fist ever.
He tried once more, hitting the side of the arm.

He was starting to feel heavy, sidestepping as ye hand tried to hit him again and again. When one finger came near, he turned the gun handle and hit it. It seemed to work better in the movies than real life.
