After riding hard for 30 minutes Doyle called for a stop. Archie slowed down easily enough but Ark had to fight to get Akakios to slow down and then stop. "I think we're good. They were too busy going after Mike and his truck. They may have seen us and not bothered or they didn't see us at all." He said, "We can rest for a few and then get going to the third spot. It'll take at least 40 minutes to get there." He began to take the bags off of Archie and then fished out some berries for him to eat. Ark plopped down next to Archie and stole a berry to snack on. Doyle walked over to Akakios and fed him some berries too.

Walpurgis was glad for the break, sliding off the zebstrika before collapsing, his legs feeling like jelly. He gave the zebstrika another rub on the nose, complimenting it's tenacity.
He pulled his cloak around himself, unhappy with the cold that bit him from the ride. It wasn't as cold as the nights back in route 111, but it was still pretty uncomfortable.

"Heads up." Doyle called tossing a berry and a hand warmer pack to Walpurgis. He had his own hand warmer pack he was using now. He sat down nearby and sighed. "Can't believe no one has tried to punish Mike yet. Hopefully he'll get caught and sent to jail until his daddy can pull some strings. Then maybe someone at Team Rocket can punish him properly." He said with a pause, "You know this has to be like the tenth time he's done this to me. I can't tell if he's trying to get me caught or if he's that dumb."

Walpurgis caught the items, placing the berry in his pocket before lying down and looking at the sky.
"Well, I wouldn't really wish the cops on anyone, but he needs to take responsibility for his own mistakes.At least, I wish that's what would happen. It's part of the reason I tried to become a gym leader. I figured if I had a position of power, I might be able to change a few things in Team Rocket. It didn't work out, but that won't stop me from trying again."
"If it comes down to it, though, I'll vouch that it wasn't your fault, for whatever it's worth."

"If you dealt with Mike then you just may change your mind about that." Doyle replied, "Some things do need to change but it wasn't so bad being in Team Rocket in different regions. I think it gets so bad here is because headquarters forgets about us at times." He pulled out a berry and began munching on it. He tossed another to Ark who was steadily stealing Archie's who was beginning to get pissed and take swipes at her. "Thanks. It'll probably do nothing for now but once Mike's daddy's boss gets back it'll matter."

Walpurgis sat up, then looked at Doyle. "Perhaps. I find that experiences are what make us who we are. As for the state of Team Rocket in other regions, I wouldn't know. Growing up in Hoenn, there was no huge criminal syndicate, just a couple of crazy eco-terrorist organizations. I joined Team Rocket once I arrived in Zatao. Wasn't exactly my plan, but then, nothing was. But it's good to know it's better else where. It's good to have a place to belong."

"I suppose." Doyle said finishing off his berry, "I started off in Unova and gradually moved to different regions. I suppose it was a good thing I moved from Unova because we never really settled there." He stayed where he was for a few more minutes before finally standing up. "Well we should get moving again. Who knows if the cops are keeping an eye on the area. Plus we should get to spot 3 before the person we're meeting does." He went over to Archie and hooked up the bags again. He then hopped up and looked at Walpurgis. "Think you can handle riding him with Ark guiding you? We shouldn't have to ride so hard anymore."

"Well, in the end, it's up to your Zebstrika if he's willing to carry me. But I can handle another ride." Walpurgis stood up, dusting himself off before walking over to Akakios and giving him the berry.

"He'll be fine." Doyle said. He pushed Archie into a walk and watched as Ark moved over towards Akakios and Walpurgis.
Akakios ate the berry happily. He stood still enough for Walpurgis to get on and resigned himself to following after Doyle. After all Ark was here making sure he behaved. He shook his head, let out a small 'Zeb', and began to walk after the other human got on. He followed after Doyle and Archie with Ark walking besides him.

Walpurgis felt kind of bad for the Zebstrika. It clearly wanted nothing to do with this, but it was not his place to raise complaints. He sighed to himself and tried not to get nauseous as the ride went on.

It was a quiet and sort of peaceful ride. They encountered no people or even wild pokemon. After 40 minutes had passed they still hadn't reached the site. "We should be getting there soon." Doyle said finally. They were moving closer to the lake and would soon be near its shores.
Finally reaching the lake Doyle had them stop. "Well we're here. The pick up should be here any time now." He said hopping off of Archie. He unhooked the bags and recalled Archie. He left Ark out and waited for Walpurgis to get off of Akakios before recalling him.

Walpurgis got off the Zebstrika unsteadily, but pushed the nausea away. "So, was there anything else you'd need help with, man?"

Doyle waited for a moment and then recalled Akakios. "Nope I'm good. Thanks for the help. I saved a lot more stuff than if I had been alone when Mike brought the cops." He said, "You don't have to stick around any more if you don't want to. Like I said the person coming this time will be no trouble and should be here soon." No sooner had he finished speaking did lights appear heading their way.
Soon a off road vehicle pulled up and a cute girl jumped out. "Hey Doyle! See you got some help. No matter. Anyways.... you know the drill, load her up and we go our separate ways." She said flipping her hair, "I hope Mike at least spends the night in jail. He needs it. Maybe he'll learn to stop driving so.... so recklessly and attracting the cops attention."
"Yeah like that will happen." Doyle said picking up a bag and putting it in the vehicle. He packed the rest of the stuff in and stepped away. "See ya later." He said as the girl got back in the vehicle and drove off. "So I'll see you some other time Walpurgis. Maybe at the base next time instead of out here."

Walpurgis nodded at the two. "Yeah, preferably under better circumstances. Maybe in a training battle, heh. Have a good one, guys. Catch you later."
With that, he sent out Gangrel, who leapt up to his shoulder. With a sharp turn, they went off in search of more opponents.

"True. We may meet in a training battle some time." Doyle replied with a wave, "See ya." With that he and Ark disappeared into the darkness. Maybe since they were so close they would stay a day at the 'base' in Howling Woods. Sure it was still a small one, in the process of setting up and all but it was better than going to Alexa's. Plus it would give him a chance to change out of the uniform. His thoughts on this made him turn his feet towards the direction of the Howling Woods.
