"Y-yeah, get it over with right quick..." The quiet strength radiating from Harrison was enough to still the minor tremors quaking Before's body. God, to think he was doing this on his own. What was he thinking? Answer: He wasn't thinking at all. Thankfully, before he sank into a self-deprecating puddle of bleh, Ofelia arrived. And that boundless energy of hers roused the Misty back to his senses.
Just a bit.
"Good to have you aboard, Offie!" he waved, turning back to face the former-Weapon, he charged forward to swing Vanna. The large wheel whizzed through the air, managing to graze the Insanity creature. Before pulled back to the safety that was Harrison. "Sh-show us what Sunnies are made of!"

If Before liked energy than Ofelia had it in spades. With her boots gone and her flip flops back on she felt like an entirely new person, happy to be running about and punching at this. Rue was happy too, cackling away in Ofelia's ear like an entire murder of crows rather than a single boo hag, but the teen ignored it all and smashed the blades of her weapon together. "Aye-aye Clover! Here we go!"
Harrison was protecting Before, that was good, and Ofelia took a slight step, a bounce, and then launched herself forward. Her right arm went backwards before she turned it and punched in, striking the monster good and solid. It swung at her, knocking her back, but her shield only hissed at the interruption and Rue merely kept singing in her skull.
"If yer wantin' damage jus' wait till Ah get Rue charged up. Ah'm always in yer corner!"

Ofie took a hard claw-check. The creature in front of them was very definitely a werewolf, but Harrison doubted it was in a state where the wolfbites were contagious.
It was eerie and huge in the fog.
Harrison circled back to Ofie's side.
"...Let's get her charged, then."

Before was having flashbacks to a certain piranha dog and being bitten to death by a fluff with huge-a** teeth. It was distracting him, but somehow managed to strike the Insanity-fueled Weapon. It was enough for the Misty's own partner to be fully charged but the goal was to get Ofelia's charged.
"Don't let your guard do-" Before was cut off with a claw to the side of his bald head. ******** that was going to leave a bruise...

"rightcho, Harrison!" Ofelia knew how strong the protection of a Moon hunter could be so she moved without hesitation, her entire goal of this action to get a hit in enough for Rue to take a sip and start charging again. If she dealt high damage in the process that was all well and good but sometimes the bug bites were what hurt the most.
Ofelia was excellent at the bug bites and, thanks to Harrison, wasn't getting bitten in return. Before didn't look so lucky and once Ofelia was back at the moon hunter's side she looked to her other companion. "Be careful Clover! No need ta be reckless here, yeah?" Pot calling the kettle black, yes please.

"Watch out! ********, you're gonna get an ear torn off- I hate dogs." Harrison wished he could punt this one across the yard.
He settled for warding it off from Ofelia with a sword-swipe, but he kept an uneasy eye on Before. Get her charged. Knock the dog out of the park. That was the goal.

Before shared Harrison's sentiment. He truly, utterly did. Of course the Misty's was recently discovered, mostly thanks to those wretched strays in the Arctic and that piranha dog at the Clans.
"Just you wait, fur's gonna fly! Err, shadow-fur. Smog-fur? Fog-fur?" He frowned in confusion then shook it off to lunge. Apparently a faint light angled off his bald head just so and it was enough to stun the werewolf-thing that Vanna's broadside hit it harder than Before had, well, before.

Ofelia missed, horribly, but she wasn't about to waste the chance that Harrison was providing. She was going to go in for another shot as soon as she could, though she motioned for Harrison to move over and protect Before instead. She was a Sun, she got second chances and it really looked like Before was suffering and in pain.
Ofelia. . . . for some reason didn't like seeing that. "Ah'm good, gonna go in fer another shot since this time it ain't gonna hit me. Harrison, ya protect Clover mmkay?"

"Got it," Harrison said, feeling like he was playing Moon ping pong, but moving obediently over to Before and fend off further dog maimings.
"When the portals to the real world are open again, I'm donating all my money to a Kill-Shelter."

"Heh, when you find one, lemme know. We can pool our donations," Before wheezed. His arms felt heavy and his muscles were beginning to cramp but he couldn't stop. The thing had to be dissipated back into Insanity. They had to put the thing to rest, if not for the fallen Hunter's sake then their own.
"Hey FIDO! FETCH THIS FRISBEE!" Before hollered, charging forward and kicking off into the air and into a spin. Using Vanna's size and weight to add some strength to his attack, there was the satisfying feel of the wheel's spikes digging into the miasma of Insanity. A risky move but Before trusted the Moonie to have his back.

Ofelia winced and shook her head as she took a hit from the monster, her steps faltering at the last moment as she nearly tripped over something on the ground. The end result was a bug bite from her weapon again but it was enough, Rue's singing had turned to a cackle once more, and Ofelia rolled herself to her feet and jumped back, her weapon glowing. The cackle was strong with this one.
"Mmm ready whenever y'all are! Rue's done singin' an' it's time ta take that monster-thingy down!"

Before figured it was a good time for Vanna to use up her charge now that Ofelia's partner had enough. "Harrison and I got your backs! GO, OFFIE! GOOOOOOOO!" Before yelled as the runes on his wheel grew blinding. He hurled his partner towards the Insanity-infused weapon, the wheel growing larger to make trapping it in place easier. Metal met miasma and pinned it, turning the werewolf into a sitting duck.

Charge Effect: on OFELIA; Target subtracts -5 instead of -8 to determine damage. If used and the ally uses a Fear, add +3 to the result for the next turn.

The pair didn't have to be told twice - they were Sun Hunters, dealing out damage quickly and strongly was why they had been placed where they were. Apparently Ofelia's blind lack of consideration for her own life didn't hurt either in the 'you usually die young' division but that was beside the point.
The point of it was that Ofelia looked at Before and Harrison, suddenly felt pretty good, and charged at the monster. Instead of one strong strike she delivered several small ones, tearing into it piece by piece, and at the very end she drove her weapon into the ground and shattered the last of the monster. It faded out with a stage hiss beneath her knuckeduster, and Ofelia yanked her arm free to watch the rest of it disappear entirely.
"Whelp. That was an interestin' thing ta wake up to." She said the words casually, as if nothing had come to pass and she wasn't phased. "Everybody okay? Well, we should be okay 'cause we got Harrison an' he knows what he's doin'." Ofelia grinned and bowed her head towards the Moon hunter. "Thanks as always."

While Before could technically still go on, the Labs seemed cleared of Insanity. At least from what he could see. Adrenaline still pumping hard through his system, he gave both Harrison and Ofelia a grateful smile. "Dudes, you two were total boss," he declared. He desummoned Vanna back into her bottle-cap pin form, folded his arms across his chest, and beamed. As he did this, light glinted off his bald head. "What say we get outta here?"
