"Oh? I bet I could tire you out before you can tire me out though. I used to be a swimmer... Stamina was sort of my thing," She lifted her head to look at Jude before flopping down to stare at the ceiling again, "I'm hurt that you don't consider me someone important enough to make you feel not-alone. So very hurt." She patted her own chest with an overly loud sigh.
"Ah... The voices," She pursed her lips briefly, "You can hear me loud and clear, can't you? And Deryk? That's good enough till it clears." Pausing, she closed her eyes, "Heh, to be alone or not to be alone... This place seems relatively empty to me. I would love my own room back though. It wasn't anything special, but it was still better than sharing a room with 50 other people, some of whom are really smelly men."

He pointed both of his thumbs toward himself, "I did fencing that does require a good bit of stamina. I could probably out stamina you and you just don't want to admit it." At her words he frowned a bit and shook his head, "Now you're being an idiot for the sake of being an idiot. Of course you're important enough. I just...meant in general. On average."
"Yeah...I can hear you both, it just makes it hard for me to understand Yom sometimes even though they're just little whispers that don't mean squat," he muttered under his breath and then just settled further into his beanbag a bit more. He raised an eyebrow, "I'm not smelly, I shower every damn day."

"Or maybe you're the one who don't want to admit losing to a girl, stamina-wise," She pointed out, giving his leg a kick, since she couldn't really reach any other part of him, and she really did not feel like moving away from the comfy beanbag, "And, maybe you should make more of an effort to make friends then, since you don't like being alone."
She laughed, wriggling her fingers at him from where she was, "Yeah, unlike the smelly men, you smell like flowers and butterflies."

"Or maybe you just don't want to live in a world where someone can outdo you in stamina that you are so proud of," He retorted. At her teasing at his effort to make friends he just sighed a bit, "I make effort. I make all sorts of effort. What you want me to do? Sit on their lap and offer to spoon feed everyone?" The kicking of his leg was returned with a light kick of his own.
He was about to say something and then frowned slightly, "I'm not sure if I should be pissed or not at that."

"Once we reclaim the island, I challenge you to a stamina match," She pointed at him in a dramatic fashion, but her eyes were still on the ceiling due to the whole 'don't feel like moving' thing, "And then we can see once and for all who is has the better stamina."
She actually chuckled a bit at the imagery of Jude sitting on someone's lap and spoon feeding them, but it was made doubly funny because the 'someone' in her imagination happened to be Jeremy. And then it turned to Deryk. And finally, Otto. It was a freaky coincidence that all of them had blonde hair, but that only caused her chuckles to escalate into laughter.
"It depends-" She gasped for air in-between fits of laughter, and somehow managed to speak without choking herself, "-if you would rather smell like s**t or butterflies."

"Challenge accepted," he said simply. He'd show her. Jude was pretty sure he could out stamina Ariane in just about everything. Gotta love a guy with confidence?
Then she started laughing and his brow furrowed a little bit though he wasn't sure what she was thinking and he wasn't sure he wanted to know. When she settled and spoke up again, "Well if those two are my only choices then...I'd rather smell like a damned butterfly," he grumped a bit.
He wasn't sure why a butterfly would smell of anything at all but whatever.

"To up the stakes a little... Loser has to buy something for the winner with their pay, and the winner can pick anything within budget," She grinned, sitting up to extend out a hand in Jude's direction, "Deal?"
They would have to come up with a challenge first, but they have bigger things to think about right now... Like how they're stuck sleeping with everyone else, and how she's starting to forget the taste of real food... Like a proper breakfast of bacon with scrambled eggs, for example, not that they really had that in the kitchen even when it was serving food.

She reached for his hand for a handshake he sat up and took her hand in his and shook once, "I hope you get a good pay~," he said actually grinning a little at her. Oh yeah. He had this in the bag and clearly Ariane had no idea what she had just gotten herself into.
He kind of wiggled a bit in his beanbag seating to get up, "We should probably get out of here so someone can actually come in here and meditate...Or something."

"And I hope you get a good pay too," She grinned, wriggling her eyebrows at him; she's going to win this so hard, he's going to feel it for a whole week, "You'll need it, since it'll be mine."
She looked around the cove, and seeing nobody around, shrugged, "Eh, whatever. I doubt people use this place that often anyway," She did get up from the beanbag, however, dusting her coat down and getting the creases out of it, "Now what?"

"Pfft, we'll see about that," he retorted with a small smirk.
When she pointed out that it wasn't all that used by many he stared down at the beanbag and then looked over at her and then stared back down at the beanbag.
There were thoughts forming.
"I was going to kick someone out of a cot or whatever so I could have a nap but now..." He crossed his arms over his chest. Was he considering napping in a beanbag chair? Yes. Yes he was.

He glanced over at her, "Yes. Yes I am. Wanna make something of it?"

"Maybe."
She followed him over to the seat.
