"We are so close ta mah room, Ah ain't havin' this s**t. Monster-thgy ya best back it up right now." It was easy enough for Ofelia to talk big but she still got smacked around none the less. She felt bad for Bix taking a slash on his back but man, she was taking them too. This stupid ghost thing was pissing her off, pissing Rue off, and it just needed to go away before someone seriously got hurt.
Also her FEAR shield was halfway down, dammit. "Let's take this damn thing down, Ah wanna get mah flip flops!"

"We'll fight on the run then." Bix nodded to her seriously. "You make a break for your room. I'll try to cover us. At least we should be able to get your shoes and not have a wasted trip!" He stabbed at the shadow again but it seemed to have learned the close combat trick and slipped away from him. Ofelia did not like this idea of running so much and as a result she tripped over her feet and fell. Quickly pushing up she decided she'd give it another go because heck, that was not awesome she hated boots.

Yup, no matter how hard she tried to run away boots just weren't her thing. Ofelia twisted her ankle trying to pick herself up from the first time she fell down, narrowly dodging an attack from the incoming monster. She was thankful that it missed, even though falling and smacking her face had hurt, but a beggar couldn't really be a chooser in this situation.
At least they were getting closer to her room?

"Screw it." Bix grunted, and scooped Ofie up like a bride. He wasn't super strong but she was a girl and she kept falling over. He would settle for running to her room and letting her claw at the thing as much as she could. "Let's see if I can't outrun this thing!" He booked it down the hall. Rown Not attacking this round, but will put her down next post and attack then.

"Room 162. We're almost there." Ofelia was a bit shocked to be carried, Bix was a lot stronger than he looked, but she kind of forgot that guys were pretty strong to begin with. The best she could do was hold on and hope for the best.
When the pair reached the room she jumped down and kicked the door open, pulling Bix in and slamming it shut. "That should buy some time, yeah?"iloveyouDIE ofelia is along for the ride OwO

"Sorry for the improptu innaproprate ride.." Bix grinned a bit when the door got slammed. Despite liking a very particular girl, he was still a guy and carrying around girls was always fun. Especially when he got to seem like some sort of macho battle hero.
Of course those thoughts were cut short when he saw shadows slipping under the door.
"Grab what you need I don't think we have a lot of time." As he said it he yanked the door open, the figured hovering in the doorway. It slashed at him, pushing him back. At least he was able to distract it so Ofie could get her things.

Thankfully Bix had Mina in his hand only seconds after the monster attacked. He took one hop backwards before he riddled it with arrows. The screeched and fled into the hall.
"I think I bought us a couple moments." He gave Ofie a smirk. "Get those boots off. No more tripping okay?"

Ofelia didn't waste any time getting under her bed and pulling out her flip flops, the boots she had been wearing tossed into the corner. She pulled the socks off too, not caring where they landed, and she slipped her all time favorite pair of footwear on and jumped back to her feet. The end result of her movements was Rue being summoned and the teen smacking into the monster, somehow getting knocked back in the process.
At least she landed on her bed and at least her hit landed period. She wasn't scared or nervous now, she had her lucky shoes, and the Sunny grinned at Bix. "Let's do this."

"I'm glad you're pumped.." Bix smiled. "But I think we're gonna have to run for the exit." Bix took another hit from the monster and was unable to strike it back. "Things aren't exactly going our way in this! I'm not sure how many more hits I can take." He knew if he was feeling weak than Ofie as well had to already be weakening. Ofelia stepped to the side of Bix and held her weapon up, ready for more action. "Bix, ya hit a whole lot harder than Ah do so Ah'm gonna try an' support ya the best Ah can. Ah'll do mah best ta keep the damage it does back ta ya at a minimum, so take it down."
The Sun hunter was not a moon hunter by any means of the imagination but that didn't really stop her from giving it a shot. At the very least one or two points of damage protection should help, right? Rue wasn't meant to be a weapon to protect, she didn't have the looks nor the desire to do it. However Ofelia stood at the ready, her knees somewhat shaking from all the fighting, and the younger hunter looked over to her senior in their group. "Go fer it, Ah got yer back."
Defending was fun, but she still preferred to be a Sun Hunter.

"No need ta apologize, jus' do yer best ta try an' hit it! Like Ah said Ah'll cover ya no matter what, even if it means Ah get hurt instead. Ah believe in ya Bix." Ofelia grinned as best she could and patted her companion on the back, careful not to distract him or cause any sort of aggro motion from the monster. It was so close to being taken down she could feel it and, if needs be, she would attack the next round as well. For now she settled on defense, uncertain if she could get all of it.
Her legs were still sort of shaking but this was her room. Like hell she was going to die in it.

"Thanks!" Bix was scratched as the monster swiped hard into Ofie's defense and a deflected blow skinned his leg. He took a step back and fired a quick bunch of arrows. Hopefully they could wear it down slowly. As the arrows struck he felt Mina charge once more, vibrating in his hand as she yearned for release. She was getting tired, there was no lie behind that, but Ofelia needed to be able to take care of protecting Bix and making sure this monster died. The end result was her barely being able to defend away the shots but at least it looked as though Bix's partner was ready for battle.
Rue just wanted to hurry up, she was singing her song.
