Stribog squawked angrily when he was hit with the electric attack. Flying around the stage he took aim at Maya. Soon he was shooting another beam of ice at her.

Maya let out a sharp cry as the attack hit home. Maya loosed another wave of electricity, this time in a desperate attempt to paralyze her enemy. she would not last much longer without some serious luck on her part

Stribog dodged the bolt and flew around again. He flew up high and then dove down towards Maya. He shot out another Ice Beam, hoping to end the battle finally.

Maya, unable to take the damage anymore, feinted when the blow hit. Flint winced and hurried over to his Pokemon and scooped her into his arms. Alexa must really be mad at him, this battle had been different from all the ones before, their usual banter had been missing. Granted there had been more at stake than normal in this battle but still.... he decided he would find a way to make it up to her, even if the thing she was mad about was only an accident. Alexa was one girl Flint did not want as an enemy. with a sigh he crossed the remainder of the feild to where Alexa stood and extended a hand for a handshake " great battle, you should really be proud of your Pokemon.good luck on the rest of your battles, I bet you'll make a terrific gym leader." he said with a half-hearted smile. it would have been nice to be a gym-leader, but who knows maybe he would get another chance.

Alexa recalled Stribog silently and whispered a 'great job' when he was in the pokeball. She looked up and regarded Flint as he rushed over to Maya. Seeing him walk over to her she stood where she was and waited. She certainly did make him pay for that jogging trip. "Yeah you too. It was a good battle and Maya put up a good fight. You must have trained her really well." She said taking his hand and shaking it, "Oh. We're now even." She flashed him a smile and turned to go. "And thanks. I really hope I made it to the final round or rounds of the competition. See ya sometime later Flint." She waved and walked out.
