 The mare shifted some, watching them with bright eyes. She took a deep breath, her body giving a slight quiver. She could feel her muscles trembling slowly against her bones. She was so scared, so worried, so.... So... Shaking her head slowly, she let out a soft sigh, and closed her eyes, letting her body try and calm down. But the thought of that, made her just heave a big sob again. She closed her eyes tightly.
Within a few moments, she could feel it. The numb. She was numb. Uhra's eyes fell half lidded, and though the tears still rolled down her cheeks, and her body still trembled, she still didn't make a noise. She was past noises. She was past begging, and pleading. She flinched when the great Angeni flew off, as the wind that was swept up startled her. She took a deep breath, and just stared toward the ground, eyes closing some, trying to let her body calm down.

As Cuauh took off into the skies the mare let out another breath, a little more rattled than before as she could feel the traces of her adrenalin wreak slow havoc on her nerves. Tragedy wasn't kind on their herd...their family. From the rough beginnings of the skin-walker attack, the catastrophe of the foalnapping of Cabriole and of course the loss of one of their baskets containing their beloved children....Ikinya refused to believe this could end badly.
They couldn't lose Adom, and by the looks of the mare she currently was curled around neither could she.
The mare's eyes softened as she watched the poor dear, leaning down in a motherly fashion to wipe the tears from her cheeks. "It'll be alright, Uhra..." Ikinya soothed the best she could, "Together we are strong, and we will protect our own and anyone who may need it with ferocity par with that of even a skin walker." If Ikinya could, she would have been heading straight for the action too to do anything to save her son. However her place was here, as resident Alpha she had to watch over their small paradise and all those in it - including Uhra. "It is however a pleasure to meet the one who happened to capture my son's heart. Adom must be very lucky to have met someone like you...they'll return shortly - I know it."
