Yin turned when he heard the ghoul yell at a new ghoul. Telling her to break their bodies if they tried to attack. Yin obeyed ghouls. He had always obeyed ghouls. He looked at them and in a very clear, flat voice said, "if you dare to touch a hair on Alexander's head I will destroy you."Seriously, he had enough to worry about with the giant creature as it was. They could hurt him all they wanted, but if they dared to attack his bonded...well that was another thing altogether.

She turned back to Shun eyes flickering as she stared him down, "It IS Riley. It's more Riley then even Red was. She was fussed with a weapon, another of us physically stuck in her when she was turned. But that? That's Riley. Insanity did that. FEAR might be the only thing that can turn it back but we never tried it. We attacked her."
She stepped forward and leveled one finger under his chin, "YOU can respawn, WE are Halloween, and untill we find a way to turn RIley back she isn't but I am not letting you kill her like we did with Red."
She moved past him to look at Roch whispering one last thing, "Because if you do, I swear I will break your neck before Riley even has a chance to hurt you."
She turned towards Roch, "THEN STAY THE ******** BACK! She is powerfull, yes but thats the INSANITY. This is still RILEY. She's lost her FEAR to the insanity, or something. She needs FEAR. ******** all of you if you don't want to try it."
She turned back towards Riley, "Then I'll just use myself."
She turned back towards Yin, eyes flickering and flaring, "Idiot. I've fought things, I've SEEN this. I've FOUGHT THIS. You're piss in the dirt compaired to me, to Riley, she growled. "And I am NOT letting ANY OF YOU, kill her."
Again she moved back towards Riley, but instead of attacking she moved closer beside Mal, past Siddie to simply rest her left palm against her stone flesh.
It felt like Red's though it was less brittle at that moment, slowly she pressed her FEAR, letting it flicker to life right against the creature, but not using it to force her attacks, simply letting it burn right beside her.
"Is this what you both needed? The hunger? The thing the insanity consumes? Then take it." She whispered.

"Che. Bakayarou.." Shun murmured under his breath, "If she's hungry for fear what's to say she won't try and absorb us to get it? There's no respawning from that."
"Go on. Let her consume you."

He wasn't sure if he stepped out at the worse possible time, but getting attacked by deadly fog is not what he had in mind...Or any of this really, but what can he do? Clyde let out a growl and glared at whomever was defending the...giant lady. He has no idea what or why they're arguing, but it would be lovely if they would just stop her before someone disappears...for good.
"So," he winced, "are we feeding her FEAR or are we attacking her?"

"I'd say take her down. But if you're so intent on feeding her, if anyone has a pumpkin pill, there isn't much more fear in one dose you can give than that," Shun stated. He hadn't dismissed his daggers yet. No. It was still within his intent to bring Riley down before she could do any serious damage.

She looked back towards Shun shrugging.
"Well then, I'd rather die today, then have to live with the blood of killing two people I cared about."
And with that she turned back to the stone mindflayer.
"Don't you remember how we all first met Riley..." She spoke quietly, only someone standing beside her would hear it, though she was sure to focus on each word; if Riley was there she would see the images.
"Shehk, Nuk, and I, all going through Christmas town. You where riding on Jericho the whole time like some queen of the world. You met Mal there too." He fingers scratched at the stone softly as her FEAR continued to flicker about her arm. "We all went to that hotspring and a damn death charm senior roasted most of us." Images floated by lazily in her mind, better days. Simpler times. "You, me, and Shehk, sitting in my room having a sleep over; you hated my scareons playing with your tentacles."
"Please don't go Riley. We never got a chance to go swimming off the shores of War."
It was a very stark change in attitude how she spoke to Riley compared to the other students.

Roch stared at Sammy, then looked up at Riley, not telling either of them about his C Chord. If Sammy was wrong, he'd just be making this fight harder on all of them--and that was only if it worked this time. Somehow he just couldn't get himself to think that Sammy was right.
Well, he would willingly die for the Riley he knew. He just... wished he knew her better, he thought as he looked at the massive ghoul.

The fog had loomed closer and it wasn't until it was upon them that Mitsu realized it was no natural body of air and water. It stung and burned at the skin and despite what she tried the lycan couldn't completely shield Shun. She cried out trying to shield her arms and her face feeling the lick of painful heat across exposed flesh. When the pain seemed to dull a little she looked up at Shun still torn on what they needed to do. She didn't want to attack Riley, she didn't want to hurt her but she didn't want to meet her end either. Was there a way to contain her? " Shun wait!" It was too late, he had ran off to attack and quickly paid for it as an undead ghoul came and slammed him in the face. A growl bellowed up as Mitsu charged forward, anger blinding her as she drew back a hand ready to slap Sammy across the face. " Touch him again and it will be the last thing you do!" She snarled, her eyes narrowed in a very uncharacteristic way. HP: 12 Damage: 3 @ Sammy

The ghoul was not unlike most ghouls he had grown up with, thinking he was worthless and that she was better than him for no reason other than that he was a boil. But this was just a simple undead, not a mantodae, and she seemed oblivious to how powerful the creature was. And her language was vulgar as well, she would have benefited from time on the Isle of Conquest.
And there she was, trying to play nursemaid to it and feed it Fear. Perhaps it would work, perhaps not. He had no intention of stopping his attack. It would be foolish to leave themselves open to such a force, and he was not the type to back down from a fight.

((Entering)) Adiyan came from the portal from Conquest to be greeted by a huge gray student? As she was familiar to the Fu Dog since the had been in the same class. He was jacking confused since he was clueless to what had been happening. The fog that was around just make Adiyan feel more like his home and didn't think too much on it. He wasn't going to attack as he wasn't totally sure if he should or not. But Adiyan was going to be cautious as he looked around at the other students to see there reactions since they might know his large, gray student. The Fu Dog watched as he got into a defence position if he got attacked. But if he got attacked he would attack back with no questions asked. (( OOC: Character Name: Adiyan HP: 30/30 Target: Self Damage: Defending self for 2 Appearance Adiyan is a Fu Dog in his humanoid form wearing Chinese type clothing.

Once more, Riley just watched as the little people talked and fought amongst themselves, her eyes flickering from one voice to another. She looked as though she was feeding off their indecision, so focused was she on each new rising voice. But when one touched her, determined to try and save her, Riley crouched down and brought her face up close to Sammy. She watched, very intently, as Sammy tried to talk her back to some kind of resemblence of the ghoul she'd once been. Riley reached her hand out for the ghoul, in a very gentle and affectionate move. The hand slid right through Sammy, fog dissipating and entering her entire body, and exited out from the back. Riley's hand reformed, and fisted up, as if it was holding something. Then she stood once more, and nothing changed. But her hand remained held tightly onto her new acquisition. More. Her voice whispered. As soon as the word was uttered, Sammy's body finally fell lifeless to the ground. Quote: OOC: Sammy is now at 0 HP and is unconscious! This is not a new GM turn, but if you have not attacked you may do so now.

That was it, Roch thought as he watched in shock. She'd just finished off one of her friends--the one that was intent on saving her. "You ain't Riley no more," he said coldly, bringing the strap of his guitar over his shoulder. "This is a mercy killing. I coulda really loved you, y'know?" he said. "I sure as hell admired you."
And then he played his A Chord. Hating it, hating the situation, hating himself.

Sammy looked up, Riley was moving down now. She was actually level with the ghoul and for a long moment they seemed to simply stare at each other. Her head tilted to the side as the fingers moved towards her, even going as far as to move through her. All at once the purple fire in her hands flickered out, her eyes going dark as the creature that was Riley touched the very FEAR that kept her functinoing.
"I'm not afraid Riley, I'm not scared or unsure...."
She went to say something else and her mouth was simply held open as her FEAR was slowly parted. Her now truly lifeless corpse bouncing off the ground rolling slightly to the side as Riley pulled away.
At that moment, her last thoughts where simple, she was sorry, but she was not afraid.

"WELL," Aymet repsonded loudly and awkwardly to the sight of Sammy falling to the ground, taking a half-step back. "I think we can cross 'the power of friendship' off the list."
He'd waited and watched quietly, even hopefully, but really, if that wasn't the miracle cure, he really had no idea what was. He was getting impatient, worried. Riley was a friend, but Aymet was a guy, and a dead guy at that. He didn't have all the touchy-feely ghouly nonsense in his ribcage. She was the one who alerted him to the war. Wouldn't she want it this way? For them to stop the hunters? If they wanted to make a good use of their FEAR they'd have to dissipate her, and if they were lucky, she'd be different when she reformed. If she reformed.

Apparently trying to talk to Riley was the last thing Sammy was ever going to do. Mitsu took a step back as the ghoul fell to the ground lifeless wondering if she were truly dead. She hadn't dissipated but it looked like whatever kept her going was just gone, seized from her forcefully. Was this the fate the awaited the rest of them?
The pain from the fog was still evident. Mitsu knew her FEAR shield wouldn't hold out much longer and looked to Shun trying to determine a plan. In her current state Riley could easily taken them all down.
