Essa's mind had gone blank, why was this officer walking away from her and his pokemon, why was a pokeball left on the bench. It was almost as if the words he said hadnt reach her brain till after he was out of sight. Odin too looked slightly mystified by what happen. Essa looked down at Odin sort of wishing he'd tell her what just happened.
"Send me a post card.....when he gets his first badge......WAIT A MIN!" The penny dropped, Essa was Odins new owner, she has a fire pokemon to call hers for the first time ever, she could barely contain her happiness
"ALRIGHT, THIS IS AWESOME!!" She shouted, loud enough for everyone to look her way. Odin was waggling his tail, ready to follow her anywhere it seems. Essa glanced at the clock to realise her train would be coming soon, and she definitly didnt want to miss it, she knew where the officer worked so she could come back in case of any complications, she scooped up Odin and the pokeball and ran to the train station, very glad that Mist had decided to leave the train early.
