The long-haired ghoul waved at Dev, ears perking up with interest. “Ah was! Ah think Ah remember ye frae th’ classes.” There was a certain look on Xiu’s face as she looked over the cu sith with care. Dev cocked her head and twitched her ears, but remained silent at the scrutinizing. She wondered what had run through the other ghoul’s mind then, but it was probably nothing important. “Ahm Dev, pleasure tae meet ye, Xiu.” Glowing eyes briefly followed Alke as he waved the group goodbye and left. “Ye know ‘at fellaw?” she asked while pointing at Alke's shrinking figure until he disappeared completely.
Once she caught sight of Shun, her ears lifted and her tail immediately began to wag. It was a familiar face! “Ah remember ye frae th’ battle. Ye were Shun, reit?”

Wylfenne came back to the forgery the following day. The events at the temple - and the end of their classes - really disturbed them.

strangely enough, it was again the time of the prayer. After all the events of the day - how annoying! Don't other students see how infatuated with their Death code the clansmen are? They remembered all the books in the library... Probably, they should read more into their religious mumbling?
Wylfenne could not explain why it was so infuriating. Probably just because they couldn't solve this riddle? This death-ending riddle?
