"Perhaps we ought to explain our favors? It seems this game is best played among those who know each other," Malodore said, leaning back in its chair. "I am skilled in arts of science and medicine, for example."
It didn't seem particularly bothered by having lost - actually, this was interesting just to watch, the ebb and flow and interplay between players. It wasn't something the plague doctor was used to noticing.
"And ah... scepters again. Perhaps I should stick to them, always, but I may surprise you."

It seemed that the dice was pretty balance and nearly predictable. But even then, it couldn’t be trust. Luck was fickle thing, and there was really no choice about it. He wondered if he should change his mind, but he would just leave it to chance and stay with his usual choice.
“Stay with crowns.”
And now, for the choice to choose a token, it was either between Amrita or Mal, but he knew little about them. Though Mal did make her token more favorable because of her skill, and went for it.
The ghost gave nod to Mal, and turned to Ace as he placed his hand on the token.
“I’ll take this, yes?”
[edit:addendum]
“I’m particularly skilled in sculpting, and dabble in paintings and photography… so if one wants one of those, my favor is good for that.”

Three was a good number for Ace but pulling out now would have been a total waste.
He listened as the subject of favors continued to thicken. Arts of science and medicine. Yawwn. Ace even let out a small sigh of boredom until Mal placed his bet. Then El Greco. "Dude go for it," he chuckled. What use did he even have of Mal? "And I'll take hers-" he added tugging Amrita's to his keep. So far he had one from her and one from Riley... as he'd skipped out on taking Enzo's. Good thing too, he was a dirty fellow.. and that was without the vermin that Ace wouldn't know about.
"Scepters this time," Ace declared and leaned forwards intently.

The Vetala stiffened as a few of the players gave their talents. She...didn't have a talent. She wasn't a healer, or a particularly good fighter, nor did she possess much if any wit. The ghoul watched as Ace took her token, pondering over what she could bring to the table (almost literally, as it were). With the amount of strangers, it only seemed fair to let them know what they were getting into; which was, in her opinion, their loss if they took her token.
"I don't have special skills. I like taking care of minipets, but..." She gave a weak shrug, drawing some hair over her shoulder to twist it between her backwards hands. "I try my best to do almost anything I'm asked to?" At least that part was true. Except when she was told to run away...that generally ended with her running towards the thing they didn't want her to. Generally.
"Scepters, again."

"Still scepters," Enzo smirked, tapping his chin as he took in what everyone seemed to have to offer. Hmmmm good potential, all around. "Myself, I'm an artist," He wove a hand at Greco, "Of sound, man." Alright, he might be exaggerating, but like hell he would sell himself short. He was a *commodity*. With a shrug, folding his arms behind his head as he leaned back in his chair, giving a sharp whistle. It was then a monstrous upright bass wheeled itself in from where it had been dutifully resting amongst the other luggage, hovering just behind him like an excited dog expecting a treat. It looked like it was ready to try to eat all of the game pieces if they weren't careful
"C'mon, Boss, set us a nice back beat to play to, buddy." The large instrument gave a rumbling, humming reply before obliging, a nice low jazzy bass beat drifting up behind them.

What a brilliant observation, mia cara. Riley purred at the plague doctor, brushing the back of her fingers against Malodore's hand. Now we can get to know one another much more intimately. I, personally, am more equipped for the physical. Training in fighting since I was three, I think I could manage whatever strenuous task is placed before me.
She picked up the remaining token, El Greco's, and then picked up the dice, as her expression lifted somewhat. Also, I am a little smart. She teased, and threw the dice. Her eyes lit up, and she gave El Greco a waggle of her eyebrows. It seems we get the choice of a large pot, my friend. She gave him back his token, before letting the four remaining ones sit out.
Unless you have a preference that goes against this, I will take.. Malodore, and Ace. She slid the tokens closer to her, but waited to see if El Greco wanted to discuss the terms further. It was clear, however, that she was hoarding her mate's tokens - or perhaps protecting them. And it's crowns for me next round, as usual.

The slimer’s grin this time was genuine. He was smiling because he won again, and was glad that he didn’t’ change his mind after thinking about all the outcomes that could have come out of the game. To think, he almost did change to picking scepters, but his feelings was hard to change. Like many ghosts, he was stubborn, and seemed fixated to certain things; for now, he was fixated on staying with crowns.
As for prizes, he looked up the boil demon, the one called Ace, and raised a brow. He looked to the other boil with a large musical instrument and then back to the demon. In his guts, he wanted to collect all the tokens, just for variety’s sake, but maybe, he thought, he could trade in favors to learn about something he knew little of; music.
“That’s fine,” he responded as he took the two other tokens, and looked at Amrita’s wonder what favors she would deliver.
“I’ll stay-“ The thought of variety interrupted his speech. “Iiii…”
He was disturbed at the thought of changing his mind. His arms crossed around his chest. He felt that if he changed his mind and it wasn’t the right one, he was going to hate himself. But there was a little part of him that wanted a favor from the purple demon.
“I’ll go scepter…no… yes, scepter.”

Malodore carefully watched as its favor traded hands. "I feel somewhat lazy, so... scepters, once again," it said, opening its beak in a faint smile. It was interesting, learning a bit about these others, hearing them describe themselves in terms of skill.

Whaaaaaaaaat-
Ace snorted in frustration when he lost again. Riley had taken his token and he sighed as he pressed his forehead to the table, his horns clacking with the surface and making a metallic ping. "Uuuuuuh-" he grumbled in thought before throwing his head back up again.
"Scepters for me-" he said and slid Amrita and Riley's tokens around. He'd be fine hanging out with the ghouls, though he really had no idea what to ask of the undead ghoul, he was still aching to see his idea play out with Riley as was Alex.

"Oh, very nice!" She'd never seen that particular instrument before! However in a group she didn't want to bring up just how little she knew of music, and settled for complimenting him. Scarelings, especially boils, liked to be complimented, right?
Greco received a little smile as he accepted her token, no doubt it was in return for the smile he'd given her when their positions were reversed. Token number two given, two favours to deliver from people she did not know at all, outside of the ghost's little intro and what little she gathered from Ace's behaviour.
"Crown."

"Well, then! With the ladies of luck on my side, I'll have to switch ta' Crowns this time!" Enzo grinned, waggling his eyebrows at Amrita. She was a fine lookin' gal, even if she was missing bits of her. That happened sometimes with undead, he wasn't about to judge.

Wordlessly Riley rolled the dice this time, and gave Enzo a swift nod. You made the right choice, it seems. She slid him his token back, took her own, and gave Amrita back her token. Then she looked at the three left, and let out a hmm. She had one of each of the people remaining on the table.. but her choice was still clear. She took Malodore's token, selfishly hoarding them.
Crowns for me again. She crinkled her eyes happily.

"I am going to have no favors left to give, at this rate," Malodore said with a chuckle. "Scepters again for me, then, and after this round I believe I shall bow out, lest I end up owing my life entire to someone." More than I already do, it added, privately.

Riley started to stack up her Malodore tokens together, even as it spoke, and tried not to look smug.

It took her a minute, but she did eventually realize she was being looked at and--- ...Oh dear Jack, What was that boil doing now?! His face seemed to be doing little convulsions...just around his eyebrows. "Are you okay?" There was...actual, sincere concern in her voice. First his weird speech, and now this...poor boil.
She eyed the remaining tokens...damn, she already had these! Err, well, hrm. El Greco's it was! It was closest to her anyway.
"I think I'm going to bow out for now, while I'm ahead." She smiled, scooping up her three bones. "Thanks for the game, it was fun! See yah~" And with that, she made her hasty exit.
