His blush faded as he fell under confusion once again. His head was tilted a bit as he looked at her, hoping for an answer. "I want to do what you need me to do. What do you need me to do?" he asked stubbornly. He knew that he was being foolish but he had nothing that he wanted to do other then to not get hurt.

Seeing her look out the window, he turned to look out it as well, then up to the stars that were beginning to show. The emptiness in the horizon depressed him, but knowing that he wasn't beaten yet, did cheer him up. Silently, he got on all fours and curled up by her feet, laying down as a faithful pet before it's master.

Lilith watched him and cocked her head to the side confused. "Umm ok I'm going to bed now. Remember you can do as you like here." She said shutting the door behind her and went into her room. She laid down and sighed.

Seeing and hearing her leave was a bit of a relief, but at the same time he was a bit upset he couldn't do anything. After she entered her room, he heard his stomach growl loudly, and began to head to the kitchen. He hadn't eaten in a while, so he began to cook a lasagna to eat. It was something he always made for the previous masters but never tasted his work. It wasn't long until the smell of the lasagna began to fill the house as it cooked.

Lilith was laying in bed staring out the window when she smelled the food. Her stomach growled instantly and she stood up. She left her room and went to the kitchen. She stood in the door way watching him for a bit.

Deric didn't notice Lilith watching him as he began to prepare a small salad. By the time the Lasagna was done, the table was prepared to eat at, and the meal was cooked perfectly. After it was out of the oven, he looked up and noticed her in the corner and backed up to give a bow. "I'm sorry, mistress Lilith. I should have asked if this was appropriate and if you wanted to join."

Lilith shook her head smiling and walked into the kitchen. "No. You did the right thing. I told you that here you can do as you like." She said pulling a glass out of the cabinet and pouring water into it. She sipped it and gave him another smile.

A faint blush arose on his cheeks as he stood straight up, and asked, "Mistress Lilith? Would you care to join me in an evening meal?" Ne nearly choked on the words but they managed to cross his lips as he asked her.
