Malodore did not generally take breakfast, but it had been intrigued by the delicate sensibility of the snacks and tea available in that pavilion - and slightly disappointed that its time in contemplation had been cut short. The plague doctor returned, hoping that in the morning hours there would be less call for noisy arguments.
The attendant brought it a small cup of tea and a few delicate wafers; they softened on the tongue, their texture almost resembling that of a freshly-plucked flower petal before they melted into nothing but a faint sweetness. Hmm. It savored each unusual bite.

The tea pot was interesting too - Malodore poured itself a cup of the fragrant tea, then paused as the tea pot's weight seemed to increase in its grasp. Indeed, when it opened the lid it found the pot to be full of liquid once more. Fascinating! And a very useful magic. It wondered if it would refresh any liquid set within it, or only tea... it would be an interesting experiment.
Alas, it could not take the pot with it, but it did nod pleasantly to the attendant as it left. That had been much more relaxing than the previous day's experience.

When Roch entered the tea place again he headed straight for the magical teapot, happiness clear in his expression. He wasn't even that fond of tea, but this was AWESOME, he thought as he poured himself another cup. It was so cool!
Roch really was an idiot. OTL

Yin was just arriving, and there seemed to be a spread laid out for the students.
A spread...with tea. He was excited, but hesitant. He turned toward the attendant. "Are we allowed to serve ourselves?" Apparently he spoke too loud because the only response he received was a glower.

And now his feet were being pointed at.
No slippers, no service.
Well, if they were not going to allow shifting they were going to have to acquire better footwear for weremantises. It would probably be better if he simply left for the day, as he was not about to try to cram those on over his particular feet.

Angry yelling just made Israfel curious, urging him to place his head next to the wall. Sadly, the horsemen stopped talking and pouting Israfel went back to his tea. He wanted in on the pony gossip.
Shuffling his wings he picked up a small snack, sniffing at it. It smelled like candy but- nope. Tasted like picked something.

Ice Queen Roch held up the teapot to the rest of the room and said, "I love this thing--think they sell--" And he got a dirty look for talking too loudly. Ciel was coming in as she heard the boil showing off the teapot. She shrugged a little, approaching quietly. Once within speaking distance she said, "I don't know... though I suspect you could make any teapot do that with enough fear." She wasn't much to look at. She was very pale and chubby with short messy brown hair, hazel eyes, and rumpled clothes. After a bit she touched the teapot, "I heard about these. Endless tea, right?" Ciel tried to ignore the argument going on in the next room. She seemed momentarily nervous. After a deep breath (and the intervention of guards in the other room) she seemed a little calmer.

Another day, another delicious snack. This one was surprisingly brittle in the mouth, but melted into smoothness after a few seconds. Interesting.

Ugh, there was another argument in the next room. Malodore frowned inwardly, then stood even as the attendant went over to quiet them down. It wasn't going to have this tea ruined by that unpleasantness again.

Roch looked at the ghoul, cocking his head slightly as he thought of it. "Probably a spell," he said. "I'm thinkin' horsemen are a bit like reapers in some ways, they got their own weapons they can summon, I wouldn't be surprised if they were good at spells and charms. Well, actually, that one's pretty obvious," he admitted, "I just didn't think about it." "Roch Scythe," he introduced himself. "Knob Goblin, Amityville," he added, a bit belatedly. He reached over, taking one of the treats. Huh... sweet.

"ROCH? ARE YOU HEAR ROCHHHH?" Danny shouted, running around the tearoom. She just KNEW she'd seen that purple mohawked boil in here somewhere.
A few attendants gave her a dirty look, but Danny didn't care.

Danny heard arguing through the walls, but none of it sounded like Roch. Ooooh he was good at hiding! She'd get him next time, yes she would.
Since the boil was nowhere to be found, she left. Simple as that.
