Clearly Yin was an amazing kisser if a simple peck on the hand was enough to satisfy the zomboil.
Part of the reason had been to ask him now, before the zombie began to feed and while he was still wearing relatively clean clothing. Yin simply nodded though, not planning on bringing it up. It would probably just mean that the picture would be more realistic. "Of course, I would not wish to keep you from your food."
He moved then, not wanted to get caught up in the feeding frenzy by accident. He scooted back on the bed, pulling his legs up to settle into a comfortable cross-legged position, waiting for Alexander to reach over the begin pulling out delicious, delicious containers of meat. As they began to emerge and smells began to separate he could make out things that he had never really smelled before, but made his mouth water nonetheless. He had certainly tried some different foods since coming to Amityville, and as much as he thought it was ridiculous that Alexander could squander so many seeds on it he could not help but wish to try it.

Yessss, food time! It was like all of the worries of the evening were already evaporating in Alex's mind. All troubles could be wiped away with food. Food was the answer to all problems.
With Yin pulling himself away, it left Alex open to turn himself fully on the bed, though he already missed the feeling of warmth Yin provided as it already began to fade. It was funny how he'd gone from being one who did not appreciate warmth to one who virtually craved it whenever Yin was around.
The zomboil pulled the first bag of food towards himself, opening up the top and pulling out container after container of food and setting it on the bed. There weren't any plates to eat off of, so they would have to make due with just sharing and eating out of the containers provided, but there was at least cutlery.
Alex wondered if Yin would be more accustomed to using them now that he could shift his hands completely, and would be quite curious to find out.
First bag empty, Alex set it to the side, knowing that Yin would probably use it to gather up all of the empty containers and garbage at the end of the meal. The second large bag was pulled close, and was emptied of containers as well, before that bag was also set to the side. Then, the zomboil began prying off lids, some of them still warm enough that steam arose from the contents therein. There was meat of just about every variety, cooked (or not cooked) in just about every style imaginable. There were some that were crusted with herbs and spices, while yet others were drenched in some type of sauce or another, while yet others sat glazed or bare. Alex took it all in with a happy smile of contentment, before he grabbed hold of a fork (he figured that would be more polite then ramming his fingers into food that they would be sharing) and stabbing into a meatball before popping it into his mouth and chewing it slowly, savoring each bite.
Oh dear jack that was delicious.
And after that...well, after that it all got a bit frenzied. Yin had actually been quite smart to put some distance between himself and Alex.
When all was said and done, Alex had actually managed to clean off a fairly decent portion of food, though there were still leftovers that might be okay for the next morning. Wiping at his face with one of the napkins provided, Alex quirked a half smile towards Yin.
"Soooo, pictures? Should I show you how to take them, or do you want me to do it myself?" He could take a picture of himself, it wouldn't be all that difficult, but he didn't know if there was any special sort of thing Yin wanted.

Yin waited for Alexander to stop pulling out, but he just kept going. Yin's eyes widened in amazement and desire as the food containers began to stack up around them. He was frozen in shock, and was pretty well useless until the tops began to come off. Then he joined in, appreciating the assault on his nose of the various meats. He waited for Alexander to take the first bite, still trying to decide what to go for. There were just so many dishes to choose from, and concoctions that he never would have dreamed up, but his mouth was watering at the sight.
Then the food started disappearing at an alarming rate. Yin quickly joined the fray, deft claws snagging bits of food that he did not even know what they were. He slowed down long before Alexander, lazily working on a bone that had been cooked over a fire and had some sort of delicious and thick sauce on it. It was a bit messy, but he did not mind, getting up to wash his hands and clean his face when he was done before returning to the bed, waiting for Alexander to finish.
What, what was this question? He quickly answered this, a bit worried about what the zomboil might try to do. "You can do it yourself, do you mind if I watch?" Then he thought about it a moment longer. "Maybe later, if it is enjoyable, you can demonstrate how to do it and I will try it?"

Alex gave the other boil a wry half smile, as he pulled the electronic device out of his front pocket. "I can show you how to use it, but maybe we should clean off the bed before we begin. Wouldn't want things to get too messy in here." His half smile turned into a large and innocent grin as he slid off of the edge of thet bed and stood up straight, stretching his arms out before letting them fall back down to his sides. "Unless you like things dirty...." He teased, knowing full well how uncomfortable it would make the other boil before he gave him a wink and started in on the task of relidding the assortment of containers stacked on the bed.
When they had finished cleaning up, Alex shambled over to Yin, throwing an arm around the other boils shoulders before lifting the camera up in front of them. "Smile." He said, while tapping on the button that created a flash of light, momentarily blinding the other boil so that he had to laugh, dropping his arm off of Yin's shoulders so that he could bring up his hand and rub at his eyes. "I forgot how bright that is.." He continued to laugh, grinning even as he waited for the dots in his vision to clear.
"Okay, here, I'll show you how to use it quickly and if it's too complicated for you then I will just take them all myself...."

How could anyone like it dirty? He knew the zomboil did not mind how dirty he was in the least, but Yin was simply not the sort of boil. He was, however, the sort that would certainly work on cleaning things up after their overindulgence. His bed was not quite a mess, they had gotten most of it in themselves rather than on the blankets, but there were a few splatters here and there that he had a suspicion were from Alexander being a bit too immersed in what he was doing. So when he had separated the containers to be thrown away into one bag and the ones to be kept into the other he set them both aside before straightening things up again, smoothing out wrinkles that really were not necessary. He was just straightening up when Alexander put his arm around him and he looked at him, confused, seeing something out of the corner of his eye. He turned to look at it, hearing a brief "smile" before a light flashed. He had been caught partway to a smile, one of the awkward stages really, and as soon as it had registered he was flinching away, completely unprepared for the light. Especially as he had been staring right at it. He really did not trust that device. "Is it really necessary?" He was not whining. Really.

"We can actually turn the flash off." Alex grinned as he looked down at the screen of the phone, tapping the screen and turning it to show Yin the image it had just taken. "If you don't like it we can delete it." He said, not at all bothered since he had taken the photo without asking first and had learned the hard way that that could easily become an unforgivable action.
"Aw, come on, Yin! How are you ever going to learn anything new with that attitude?" He frowned down at the boil, holding the phone out and waiting for him to take it from him now, What Alex seemed to be forgetting was that Yin had just learned all sorts of new things and had probably met his quota for the year let alone for this one singular evening. Shaking his head slightly, he held shifted the camera so that he was holding it out at arms length, before tilting his head slightly to the side and grinning then hitting the button needed to actually capture the image. He pulled the phone back in towards him, looking down at the image critically.
"Are you sure you want images of me?" he finally said, "I'm not so sure I'm all that photogenic."

"I do not require images of myself," he tried to quickly assure Alexander, not really disturbed by how weird he personally looked but finding it really completely unnecessary. "But the image of you looks nice."
Take the compliment Alexander. Take it.
Yin glowered at the device as if it was personally offending him. Now Alexander seemed disappointed in him, he was not smiling any longer, and he grudgingly reached out to take the eyephone from him. But the zomboil had better ideas it seemed, better because it did not involve Yin taking the picture. He could see what the zomboil was doing, but not the purpose of it.
"Of course I would like images of you," Yin insisted as he moved in to try to look at the screen before turning a questioning glance up at his bonded. "Photogenic?"

Alex left the image of he and Yin on the camera, though the weremantis had not really confirmed one way or the other whether he would like it to be deleted or not. He didn't seem completely offended by it as he had with the picture of him as a ghoul, so it couldn't be too bad, right?
Exactly.
Alex of course, had heard the compliment but it was pretty much in one ear and out through the other for him. Yin was supposed to say things like that, or something. No need to get all worked up over it (though it would be a lie to say Alex wasn't at least partially pleased by the compliment).
When Yin came up next to him after the second picture was taken, Alex did not even hesitate to push the phone into the other boils hand. "Here, see, this button here? You just have to push it. Or, you can tap on the screen here." He pointed to the area of the screen indicated. "What's on the screen right now is what you would be taking a picture of." Right now it was a very clear image of Alex's skeletal foot, bones possibly not all in the right place depending on how Yin had replaced them.
Yin was asking him a question, and Alex paused in his instruction long enough to try and explain. "I just mean I'm...well, pictures of me might not look very good because I'm...you know. Me."
Yes, that absolutely explained it, Alex. Good job.

To test these theories Yin pushed down on the button. Then he tapped the screen. He was not sure if he had tapped hard enough so he tapped again. To be clear, he did not have a foot fetish, he simply was testing out the photo taking abilities. Still, when he touched the phone it was as if might possibly bite him, and he did not look entirely happy about the ordeal. At least it seemed easy enough, but he still did not entirely trust it.
One of his fingers accidentally swiped along the bottom of the screen but he did not really notice as he moved the phone to see if the image on the screen changed. It did, and he pressed to take a snapshot of Alexander's other foot, not noticing that there was a small timer in one corner now.
He glanced up at the zomboil as he tried to explain "photogenic." His expression changed from one of confusion to a puzzled one, quite a change indeed. "Why would they not look good? I liked how the other picture looked, and it was of you. I think that pictures of you would look nicer than pictures of anyone else." Obviously Yin was not biased.

Luckily for Yin, when the camera mode was switched to video it made a loud beeping type noise that alerted Alexander to what he had done, though he didn't reach out to fix it until Yin had finished speaking. Though the zomboil had to smile at what Yin was saying, it still just sounded like something one would have to say, considering they were bonded, and not something necessarily genuinely meant.
"Well, generally speaking most people don't view zombies as being very..uh..good looking, or desirable." Maybe that explained it better so that Yin understood what he meant.
And then to the last part, his smile widened, and he spoke to the other boil in a more teasing manner. "Well now that's debatable. I'm pretty sure pictures of you look much nicer then pictures of me." Nope, Alexander wasn't biased either. He finally reached over with his hand to point at the screen. "You accidentally set it to video now. See that timer in the corner? That's showing you how long the video is that you are recording." Alex tapped at the button on the bottom and the beeping noise chimed again to indicate that it had been turned off. He then pointed to where Yin had accidentally swiped it and moved it back to camera mode, doing it slowly so that Yin could see what had happened.
"There. All better!"

What was Alexander talking about? He looked fine to Yin. And he desired to stay with him so obviously he was desirable. The zomboil was just being ridiculous. "It is fortunate then that you do not have to worry about most people?" He hazarded. Though why others would think that about someone just for being a zombie was beyond him. Boil....yeah, zombie...not so much?
But wait. Pictures of him? Oh Great Mantis no. "I do not require any images of myself. I need only a mirror for that." He watched as Alexander "fixed" the camera, trying to see how to fix it if he did it again. "I am sorry that I messed it up Alexander. It was not my intention." He did look a bit distraught about it. There were just so many things to learn and not mess up, and he was bound to at some point. But that did not mean that it would not be a bit overwhelming in the process.

It was painfully obvious that Alexander was just confusing the other boil, and in more ways then one. He seemed genuinely bewildered by Alex's earlier comments about not being good looking, and he didn't know how to be any more blunt without just...out and out insulting himself. He was a zombie, a walking, rotting corpse. He had no idea why Yin would want to even be near him, let alone be his bonded, his boilfriend...it just, completely baffled him but he wasn't about to fight it, considering how much he really really really really liked the weremantis, even as ignorant and technologically challenged as he was. Alex just did not think of himself as being good looking. Sure he got the odd 'hey cutie' comment, but that wasn't exactly much of a compliment to a boil, who would have preferred terms such as 'handsome' ('hot' was just too ridiculous on so many levels).
Beyond that little bit of a hiccup in communication, there was the fact that Yin really had no clue what he was doing with the phone, but he was just trying so jack damned hard and it was nigh on impossible to get frustrated with the boil over it, because he really didn't have to be learning it at all. He could have refused, but no, he would do it just for Alex's sake, and so, Alex would continue on with smiles and soft words of encouragement and praise whenever he accomplished some simple task that a child could probably perform on an eyephone.
"I'm not upset with you for putting it on video, so don't apologize." He smiled, "I know how hard you are trying, and I know that his is something you aren't comfortable with. I really appreciate that you'll even give it a try, but I don't expect you to have to enjoy it." The smile turned into a grin. He then spent the next several minutes letting Yin play with the phone, taking whatever pictures he wanted, whether it be for practice or to actually get images of Alex, he didn't really care.
"I wouldn't mind some pictures of you." Alex finally said, after dropping the subject for a time. Actual pictures, not ones where Yin looked like a ghoul, though even thinking about that now...ya, that was kind of fantastic, even if Alex would never ever admit it out loud. "Not right now, of course. But someday. In case we are ever apart for a long period of time...." Like possibly that summer when Alex went home during break. He had hoped Yin would come with him, but he would understand if the weremantis declined. This week away on separate Isles was going to be bad enough, but to be separated for an entire summer? That would be absolute torture!
Alex may or may not have been thinking a little bit like a drama queen at that moment.

Obviously Yin was not the greatest judge of beauty (excepting when it came to Princess Eva. There he was an expert, as she was the most gorgeous rabo that had, and would ever, exist). Alexander continued to patiently walk him through the processes several times, then left him to play with the eyephone. Joy.
He began tapping buttons, not really sure what he was doing anymore. This envelope icon looked pretty. It seemed to be loading when the zomboil spoke up, but Yin was just trying to figure out if he had just horribly messed something up. "Of me?" he sounded uncertain again, but he gave it some thought. He had enjoyed seeing images of Princess Eva, and he wished for pictures of the zomboil. It made sense that some pictures might need to be taken of him. "Maybe, if you are sure you would want it."
A lot of words had shown up on the page and Yin tapped one, not sure where he was going, but certainly not about to read anything. He was lose in the depths of Alexander's phone know. So lost that he was not reading the subject line for the message he had clicked on. Increase the size of what now?
Images were beginning to load, not that he was really looking at the device that he held loosely in his hand.

"Of course of you. Who else?" Alex stretched his arms above his head then brought his hands down to link behind his head as he stretched his body, standing up on his toes then relaxing, letting his arms drop back down to his sides. He eyed what the other boil was doing curiously, wondering why there was a lack of camera flashes or clicking sounds indicating that a picture was being taken. Yin was definitely tapping at the screen, but he looked almost...bored, like he wasn't even trying to take any pictures.
Had Alex just been praising him for his efforts? He was about to take that all back now.
He shambled towards the other boil, eyebrow lifted. "So uh, what exactly are you doing there? I thought you wanted pictures, Yin." He was only semi-scolding the other boil, since he didn't really care if Yin wanted to play with his phone. He didn't have anything to hide, though he never considered junk mail being something he'd have to worry about. Though maybe he was just being thoughtless. Maybe Yin was tired. They had just spent most of their day on the Isle of War before returning to Amityville.
He didn't make any movement to actually take the phone away from him, but he did reach over to place a cool hand against Yin's face, tilting the boils head up and staring at him curiously with his pale gaze. He still had trouble recognizing the signs of fatigue, but sometimes Yin was just really good at hiding it. "Are you tired?" He asked, straight out, since that was the only way he might be able to find out for sure.
"Maybe you should think about going to bed. I'll take care of the pictures myself. Maybe go for a walk so you can get some rest..."

Was Yin being a bit obvious in his not really caring about learning all there was to learn about the phone? Apparently, because Alexander was scolding him and he was not going to roll his eyes or anything childish. But he had learned enough thank you very much. And he was done. It had been a busy week, and now that they were finally back he had just had his head stuffed full of highly inappropriate material for a boil his age (whatever that was) and then there had been all of those emotions running wild and well...being forced to learn how to send and receive messages AND take photos? Alexander was expecting a bit much.
And then Alexander was touching his face, forcing him to meet his eyes as he gave him an out. He could...pretend to be tired. Not that there would be much pretending. He was tired, and he could use the break. If he had to go to bed a bit earlier than normal...well that was a sacrifice he was willing to make. He happily shoved the phone back into Alexander's free hand. "Yes I think I should sleep now. It is up to you of course if you would like to leave or not." Just...get past this day and get up in the morning for a blissful day back at home doing his normal activities before they went back to the horsemen.
He was already shirtless, and the bag of trash could be taken out the next day. And...yes, Princess Eva was right there. "Good night then Alexander." Was he just walking straight over to the bed and climbing in, and rabo jumping up to cuddle with him? If not he risked being forced to read on top of everything else. But this bed was a bit larger he noted as he scooted over to the wall, not hugging it quite so closely as he usually did.
