"Sorry-" Both said, they then looked at each other, and then away.
Ibara stood, turning to pick up Yochi. She set the mole on her back, carrying her in a piggy back ride.
"H-hey? What are you doing?" Yochi grumbled, though,she would not admit that it was a relief to be off her feet.
["I will get you new glasses..." the oni muttered following Yuuka.
"...." The mole got quiet, why would Ibara be so nice? Did she feel guilty for freezing? "Hey Yuuka!" Yochi called remembering something.

"Yes?" Yuuka looked over her shoulder at the two, specifically to Yochi. However, she continued along the path to her home. She longed to be dry again, and stopping for conversation was the last thing on her mind.
No, what was on her mind was that Oni. If her search for Ibara continued, then it would surely lead her back to the Garden. Yuuka knew she couldn't safeguard both Ibara and Yochi forever... Something would have to be done about Yasashii before long.

"Thanks for not letting me get killed~" Yochi said, resting her chin on Ibara's hat as the oni carried her along," We will think of something for Yasashii. Hell, next time I will beat her!"
"She is an oni, you can't just beat her," Ibara said,"Beating her in your state is too much, she will just kill you. Specially if she gets angry, then things go down."
"You would know."

"That's enough, you two. And... You're welcome."
Yuuka opened the door to her home, taking a moment to unlace her muddied boots and leave them by the doorstep. "You can make yourself at home - within reason. I'll bring you some towels if you wish. If you'll excuse me..." She left through a doorway, trying on vain not to drip water everywhere.
Yuuka returned some time later, stripped of her wet clothes and now dressed in a soft-looking set of pink pajamas, and with a towel laid across her neck. With her, she brought two large towels, which she handed to Ibara and Yochi.

Ibara managed to take her shoes off without getting Yochi off her back. Though she carefully set the mole youkai down. Yochi took off her poncho off, apparently getting stuck.Ibara looked and helped Yochi take off the poncho."There."
"..." Yochi straigthened out her under shirt...which had apparently gotten stuck to her wet poncho. "Yeah thanks for almost stripping me."
"Sorry." The two loked and took the towels saying their thanks as they wiped their faces dry and such.

Yuuka nodded as she was given thanks, watching as the two fumbled with the poncho and towels.
"It won't be long before that Oni eventually comes back here, if she's diligently searching for you, Ibara. I'd give it a few days at most. You'll have to think of some way of dealing with her before long." She thought for a moment, before adding, "Hopefully that Shrine Maiden will send her back into the underground like I planned..."
Grabbing the towel around her neck, Yuuka finished drying her hair.

"I will think of something before long." Ibara said thoughtfully as she dried her long hair,"It wouldn't be the first time I fight an oni if it comes to that. If she is anything like her sister though, it will get dangerous."
"Gotta love how you expect a fight," Yochi undid the ribbon on her much shorter blondish hair. Untied it still had the same height oddly enough. As she dropped the towel on her head she said,"We can outsmart a drunk."
"oni are stubborn, she will come back," Ibara undid the white headband as she dried her hair there and took the chance to wring it,"A determined oni is twice as stubborn. "
"Well we will beat her," Yochi responded dropping the towel to her shoulder and holding the strip of ribbon in her teeth as she begun to pull up her hair once more,"Beating an oni sounds fun."
"Who said you are invited?" Ibara scoffed,"Last i wnat is someone else involved in this. Its my problem and mine alone. You saw how easy she broke you."
"Don't know what you are talking about! I am perfectly fine!" Yochi grinned boastfully, it seemed she either wanted revenge or to reasure her oni companion...with her it was hard to tell,"I am not even hurting!"
Ibara gave her a look,and with a small swipe she hit Yochi's side. The mole doubled over holding her harmed side,"You talk an awul lot for a bag of bruised bones."
"Don't fight out of your league. Don't be stupid."

"Arguing amongst yourselves won't help you prepare." Yuuka said, laying the damp towel across her shoulders once more and crossing her arms. "Someone should make a trip for Miss Kamishirasawa's school tomorrow. Seeing as she believes herself to be the Human Village's protector or sorts, she would want to know about this Oni's incursion. Miss Hijiri may want to know of this, as well."
"Ibara, I don't believe you have the proper mentality to deal with Yasashii, and Yochi won't be any help in her current condition. You would do well by gathering any allies you can."

"Yochi is right. If what you displayed earlier is any indication, then you won't be able to hold your ground against this Oni; her visage alone is enough to freeze you."
Yuuka toyed with the bento box Ibara had given her, pushing it with her finger. Her stomach growled, causing her to blush slightly. "In any case, you will have to act soon, lest this become another Incident. If you think people detest you now, wait until they learn that you were the cause behind all this."

"Gah!" Ibara scoffed, crossing her arms, something else seemed to be blazing her now," I was jusst surprised! I won't be caught off guard by her again. I killed her sister, I am not scared by another damn pair of horns in my path!"
"Seriously, don't try anything stupid," Yochi said, her almost blind gaze going from Ibara to Yuuka as she spoke," Say, how would a single oni cause an incident? She seems to only be after Ibara, who would she give problems?"
"if more people hate me, it wouldn't be anything new,"the hornless oni grumbled, still with her arms stubbornly crossed.

"Oni aren't know for their...subtlety. If she continues to be unable to find Ibara, then she may become hostile to others. Just look how she treated you."
Yuuka had noticed Ibara's increased hostility. She put her hand on Ibara's arm. "You have trouble bearing the burdens you have now. Do you really want to carry the weight of another? Your pride will only serve to alienate you further."
'Look who's talking', Yuuka thought to herself. She can't even admit that she cares about these people, who is she to preach about one's pride?

"..Good point..."Yochi said easing herself down to sit on the floor to release some pressure on her sore joints," that was brutal."
Ibara seemed to relax a bit as Yuuka told her to not let her pride get in her way."I much rather be hated than purposely bring another being into this. As you said, look how she at how she treated Mochi, I don't want anyone else to get involved and end up like that."
"Hay! I am sitting righ' 'ere, don't think I am not listenin' to you! Best you remember who beated your oni head into the dirt all those times, bomb-on!"
Ibara ignored Yochi's slight insults, and shook her head, before solemly saying,"This may be the end of it all."

"The 'end'? What exactly are you planning, Miss Hinarasu?"
She tugged on Ibara's sleeve slightly. "Don't do anything stupid. You have friends who will help you; Keine, Byakuren, even those Rabbits would help you, I'm sure. They're all quite fond of you. Even the Mole has offered her help." She said, looking to Yochi. "She almost gave her life for you, to protect you. Even if she won't admit it herself, she cares enough to fight for you."

"And Yuuka too, she care too but won't admit it, she almost beat me to a pulp to know more about you," Yochi said countering to Yuuka's revelations abou the mole's feelings.
"I am not planning to die on purpose,"The oninsaid to Yuuka as she tugged at her sleeve,"If that oni comes asking for a fight, she will damn right get one. She will get one at the levels of the one that got me my exile. But we know damn well that if that happens all the exterminators will come after me. And if i don't fight to my potential she will end me."
"Either way I end up dead, because I won't let someone die for me. Inam no worth that kind of sacrifice, so I won't let it happen." Perhaps this explained why Ibara had stopped Utsuho's explosion to such a high cost. She saw her existance as inferior. In her eyes, the exchange of her life had been a cheap price to pay for Yuuka's and the Village's well being.
