Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Screaming and cursing as she was dragged down, Inertia released a bolt of electricity in Hal's direction. "Curse yeh! Damn yer bones! Ah'm gynna keel yeh both an' ah won't lose n' ounce o' sleep!"

Unlike Hal, Carol didn't have any reservations at the moment, and she made her own energy lasso, this one around Inertia's neck, and tightened it.
((Don't worry, I'm not trying to kill her; I'm wanting Hal to try and get Carol to stop trying to kill her... granted, like Inertia said, I doubt either of them would lose an ounce of sleep over killing her.))

Hal blinked and looked over at Carol.

Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Her cursing was cut off along with her air supply. Clawing at the energy constricting her throat, Inertia choked and sputtered. She couldn't think fast enough to come up with a better way to escape than one thing. If Carol and Hal were paying close enough attention, they'd notice the mutant charging all of the electrical energy in her body for one final blast.
Just as he last breath leaked out of her mouth, the massive amount of energy was released in a monumental blast. When the dust cleared, Intertia would be unconscious, but breathing and laying in a crater made by the discharge.
{Hopefully that will 'shock' them out of it} And don't you doubt it!"

Carol was blown a fair distance backwards, cursing at the top of her lungs the entire way, but when she managed to right herself and fly back to the crater, she momentarily freaked out before remembering that her ring could just fix the crater itself.
"So... what do we do with this b***h, Hal?" Carol said, disgust dripping from her tone.

Hal gently floated down beside her, a large energy bubble surrounding him. As he landed, the bubble vanished. "I don't know." He replied. "We could take her to the satellite and put her in a cell that will cancel out her energy powers....but I won't risk her draining the satellite of all it's power."

"Or we could, y'know, kill her. Bury her up to her chin and let loose some carnivorous ants... Take an anvil and drop it on her head... Impale her with extreme prejudice on a large icicle somewhere in the Arctic where no-one will see..." Carol said in a half-joking, deadpan tone.

"Well...it would certainly solve the problem." Hal replied. It didn't sound as though he was joking.

((HA! Finally got around to this.))
Carol frowned to Hal and looked back at Inertia, seeming to struggle with straight-up killing the mutant. Finally, she sighed, and put Inertia in an orb of violet light, and flew away from Coast City.

{{Enter Spider-Girl}} From within Carlie's hospital room, where the doctors had just left her to rest, a bright flash of light signaled the arrival of a newcomer. Dressed in the unique red and dark-blue webbed suit with white, half-circle eyes on an otherwise featureless mask, the new arrival came to be in midair, only a foot off the ground, with her eyes facing the ceiling. Before she could even hope to react, May Parker fell directly on her back. She sat up very quickly from the drop, rubbing the back of her head and then her lower-back as she shook her head. "Ow... man, that way more than tingled my spider-sense..." May muttered to herself.
Looking around slowly, she noticed that she was, somehow, in a hospital room. Why had yet to be determined. How would have been some nice information. When she arrived their was about the only thing she had, as she would have bruises regarding that little tidbit of information for a while. May stood and looked around; a completely average, standard hospital room. In the bed was laid a young girl, couldn't have been much younger than May herself, and she looked in rough shape. The meds that looked to be running from the machines into the poor girl had her out like a light.
Mayday felt a little pang of feeling. She didn't know the girl at all, but she might have been in a car accident or something. It was just a sad thought. Something on the girl did catch Spider-Girl's curiosity; a rather sizable, green ring with a strange symbol on it. Stepping closer to the bed, she tried to be as quiet as possible.

Carlie's breathing was slow and steady, and as May had noted, she was out like a light. The door to the room was closed, so the doctors didn't hear Mayday's entrance... But Carlie's ring had taken note.
"Please refrain from approaching this ringbearer," the ring said to May in its mechanical voice, even though the ring itself did not move. "She has recently suffered near-fatal electrocution."

"EEEEEEEEP!!!" The speed at which May leapt backwards astounded even her. She was on the wall across from the bed; both her hands and feet pressed firmly against the hospital wall-paper. Her eyes moved around quickly under her mask, trying to find the source of the computerized voice. May looked over the girl, as the voice seemed to come from somewhere in her direction. Steadily, May let go of the wall and tiptoed back to the bed. "Umm... could I ask what happened to this... ringbearer? Who she is and where I am would also be some appreciated information..." She looked around, waiting for the voice to respond.

The ring was silent a moment, and then said: "You are currently in Coast City, California, in the United States of America. This ringbearer's identity will be withheld for the sake of preserving her secret identity, but she is an officer of the Green Lantern Corps."
Carlie let out a very soft moan and muttered in her sleep, moving slightly, but she did not wake up.

"Green Lantern Corps...?" May repeated, still slightly on edge from the fact that she was talking to a piece of jewelry, and a gaudy one at that. Curiosity still won out past the strangeness of the situation. "And... Coast City? Last I checked, that isn't a..." Considering the possibilities of the current moment, Mayday concluded that making statements such as 'that isn't a city' towards a talking ring that obviously knew more than she did wasn't the smartest way to move things forward. "What, or who, are these Green Lanterns... and, uh... what happened to this girl... Mr. Ring?"
