For some reason Mei felt the need to look upwards. The paintings that seemed to line it from edge to edge wavered. Blinking rapidly, thinking that her eyes were playing tricks on her the ghoul stood there and watched as they changed. Her mouth slightly open as she stared at the morbid tone the paintings seemed to take.
"What in Jack's name?" She backed up slightly, a strange feeling started to cause her stomach to clench. "I...I need to tell Reiko about this! She won't believe it!." Turning quickly on her heels the Jiang Shi scurried out the entrance, heading quickly back to the dorms.

Mitsu continued to stare at the book in her hands, puzzling over the contents and how 1999 was involved. Hadn't that been a question Amrita had asked the Hunter? Maybe she could ask one of the horseman to get a better understanding.

Tucking the book under her arm Mitsu looked back at Hel before she moved a little further into the library to check things out. She wanted to make sure the Valkyrie was close in the meantime but she edged closer and closer to the new people. Maybe she would brave up and say hi. There were a couple she had seen in passing but had never spoken to.

Moure returned the book he'd been holding, scanning the bookshelves again to see if anything looked like it was written in a language he wasn't illiterate in. While trying to find something he could at least attempt to understand, Moure caught sight of letters. Real, legible letters.
He rounded the corner, trying to get a better look at them. But then, while he was still some feet away, a Clan member swept by, piling the lettered books into their arms. Moure has to resist with all his willpower to keep himself from reaching out and helping the figure carry them. It really did take almost all of his willpower to contain his need to help.
The figure hadn't noticed him, and continued on their way, Moure's eyes tracing out the letters on the cover of one of the book's spine: "The Teachings of the Path of Death" You know, that book probably would've helped Moure understand his time here, but alas, he wouldn't get the opportunity to read it. At least, not yet, anyway. He knew where it was shelved now, though.
Next time, lettered book. Next time.

The Library 1-20: You pick up a book, and notice that it has the number1999 on it. Oddly enough, when you open the book up, inside instead of random scrawls, are also strange diagrams. You don't really understand what they mean, as they all the circles in the diagrams are covered in unusual glyph markings. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! Lumi hung back from the rest of the crowd because something caught her eye on the shelf. Running her fingers along it she see 1999. Unsure of the meaning but knowing that it looked different from the other books she picked it up to see what it was. Cocking her head to the side her ears twitched, "This is all foreign to me..."Placing the book back she catches a glint of light.

As Lumi bent down to closer inspect the glint of light she noticed something interesting. A horsemen point! She had seen some others holding dearly to theirs while she was wandering about. Snatching it up quickly she held it close. And wondered if she should take it and place it some place safe or continue to explore, just holding it close to her.

Since everyone seemed to have... gone off and done their own thing, Ev continued to admire the architecture and structure of the library. Her gaze was lifted to the ceiling that towered over so high, appreciating the strange incorporation that could be seen at the edges. Sure it might not be all that appealing to some, but she found the shedding of the exterior cover a little fascinating.

While her gaze is honed on the ceiling, she's drawn out of her daze by the sound of someone hurrying by. Looking down, she spies the fleeing figure, curious as to what the means of their hustling was all about.

While awaiting a response from the one calling themselves Phos he glanced at the books his eyes lingered on the boring one for a moment or two longer before he tilted his head elsewhere.

His head tilted up toward the ceiling and he just stared at it. Yep! It was still up there. So was the painting he had seen earlier. Good. Excellent.

Phos just openly stared and stared
O/////////////////////O That burd was amazing.
"I want to pet you and feel you slivers of meat." he said unbashfully to the bird and brought his attention to its reaper partner. "What do you feed her.... him?" Theses burning questions that the happy pup had inside needed to be released and solved.
For the sake of the pretty owl.
maybe there was a book on the subject too, and he tried to pull one out of the shelf. green eyes glanced over the contents and found nothing but odd scribbles and 1999 blah blahblah. "Boring, lets talk about burds." he said exasperatedly and tossed the book aside, much to the horror of one of the passerby death horsemen's.
The shiny token that found its way into his pocket was much more interesting. (must roll a 1d6 to see if point is acquired)

"Oh," the Owl said blinking up at the boil she was talking to, "That is more than fine. It has been a while since I had eaten," she said in a chipper tone only pausing when her gender was questioned. Was it that hard to tell? The Owl familiar looked quite baffled.
Kettil tilted his head back toward Phos and Endzela and gave a short laugh at his Familiar's baffled expression as he answered, "Well, sometimes I feed her insects and rodents but a lot of the time I let her hunt for herself outside, I keep my window open for her to come and go as she needs to."
"Hunting is very enjoyable~," Endzela piped up her confusion disappearing in favor of the new topic.
A brief look of concern was on Kettil's face as the boil just casually tossed the book and couldn't help but check to make sure the book was undamaged. Don't need the Horsemen mad at all of them.

That book had nothing relating to owls, it was not necessary in the happy go lucky hellhound's mind. Phos was left with no other choice but to pick up another book, flipping through the contents idly. "So endy-burd does not go after bacon." he said suddenly, shutting the other boring book with a loud snap and placing it back on the shelf. "Excellent, less competition." the demon dog quipped up after putting kettil in a friendly headlock. "The trust you two have is amazing, if only me, beta and alpha had that." he muttered quietly, mostly to himself.
"She does not seem to be afraid of dogs." he managed to notice quickly as End continued to stare back at him with her OvO face.

And then Israfel was in a library. Again. Because why not. He hadn't read any books on his last visit but now he wanted to try. Sort of. Granted the pictures where non-existent and the words were scribbled he'd learn. That was why he'd arrived. Looking at the book spines, he pulled one with numbers he could read down, chirping happily at his discovery.
This one had pictures even! Granted he still didn't know what they meant, it was nice to see pictures. Pictures were symbols were diagrams were more interesting than scribbles in any case. At least to Israfel anyway.

Out of the corner of Israfel's eye, a shiny. Looking it over, he pocketed it with a smile. He liked the shiny things. Damian was in the library to and the hellhound got a smile as the siren hopped over to him and the other student. "Hi Damian hi." The other student had an owl. Israfel liked them already. "You have pretty feathers." Or rather he liked their familiar.
