The doppelganger laughed and slammed her against the mirror once more, "Wow, freaka, not doing so well are?" Reaching up into it's hair, it grabbed one of her hands and squeezed. The ghoul's eyes widened as she felt her nails break. The reflection gave her an apologetic look, "Aww...that's too bad."
With a surprisingly feral roar, Sabine tackled her copy down to the floor and slammed it's head against the floor.

The reflection slammed it head against her chin, causing the ghoul to bite her tongue. Eyes wide and wild, Sabine slammed it back down again, "Listen, creepsta, I am the one," slam, "the only," slam, "and the best."
The last slam caused the copy to disappear into smoke beneath her. Getting up with a small grunt, he turned at looked back at the mirror, her reflection one again back to normal. Her hair was a disaster, there was blood dripping from an ear and her mouth, and her dress in total disarray. Hands on hips she nodded in satisfaction, "Cheap knock-offs just can't compare."
Hearing the Lycan's question, she frowned, "I don't what that was, freaka, but I think these priestess have some explainin' to do. There is a reason I didn't sign up for War, and this," she held up one hand, several nails irreparably broken, "was it."

Hel just stiffened, and slowly turned around at hearing, what was becoming, a painfully familiar voice. Why Jack, why? “Charitable is not now I would describe this.” Hel replied, rolling her eyes, and rested her hands on her hips. She glanced at the mirror when Sabine asked if she looked blurry and gave a small shrug. What did she care? She happened to glance at the other ones as well, admittedly having a bit of a relapse back to the Mirror Maze from their Haunt House trip. Luckily this wasn’t a maze but…
The ghoul happened to catch sight of a figure within the Keres Mirrior that made her heart stop and her blood run cold. “Hunter!” The valkyrie snarled, immediately putting herself between the two and the figure that had appeared. Although there were heavy restrictions on where they could summon their weapons, Hel didn’t care if it was allowed here or not. The ghoul brought forth her spear, pointing it threateningly until she choked.
The Hunter had a spear too. One that looked just like hers…just like hers…except instead of ‘Famine’ being engraved into the side, there were runes…No. No. No.

Hel hesitated. There was that feeling of doubt that had welled up and sprung forth since the incident that had happened at the Haunted House not too long ago. A thing that seemed to whisper in her ear that she didn’t stand a chance and should just lie down and accept the inevitable. Didn’t the Horseman Trials show her that, after all?
One couldn’t fight Fate, right?
That didn’t stop the Hunter though, who easily took a swing at her.

One that seed of hesitation was planted; it seemed to take hold of the valkyrie entirely. The hunter seemed to be taking advantage of that, and continued to deliver another strike. Pretty solid hits too.

It was going to happen to everyone she knew, wasn’t it?
It was this thought that seemed to startle her. Just imagining Mitsu, Shun, Xiu, Mac, Lizzy, Levi, West, Riyo…Mot…just imaging them all in the hands of Hunters, being used as tools to harm others, well, it made her angry. Didn’t she always say she’d do whatever she could to make that happen? No matter what?
Hel let out a cry as she lashed out with her spear, managing to knick the Hunter.

The reaper seemed to be slowly building up more steam as the fight went on. Surely the fear of being trapped all alone within an item such as that spear the Hunter wielded was enough motivation to try and prevent it. Even if she didn’t win, at least she tried, right?

Ack! Hel swung at the Hunter, but missed. The feeling of the Hunter coming back at her with the spear was what she was rewarded with. Damn it. Her FEAR shield was starting to dwindle…

Desperate. That’s what you’d call her attacks at the moment. Panic maybe. If she didn’t do something, surely the Hunter would go after Mitsu and Sabine too…
She couldn’t let that happen.

Hel let out a cry as she swung her spear at the Hunter, who also happened to swing the spear back at her. Hel’s ended up going a bit under, while the Hunter’s ended up going a bit over, and the ghoul grit her teeth as the spear cut through the rest of her FEAR shield. She couldn’t help but be pleased though, to see her spear go through the Hunter as well, and watched as the being dissolved into smoke.
Hey wait.
Hunters shouldn’t dissolve, and the smoke wasn’t going away, either. Hel tried leaping back as the smoke came at her, and it was the last thing she saw as it enveloped her completely. When the smoke dissolved completely, Hel’s spear had been de-summoned, and she was right back where she and Mitsu had started before wandering into the underground cavern except…there wasn’t a path anymore. What about Mitsu and Sabine!? What if there was another Hunter? Was there even a Hunter there? Surely the Horsemen would know if there was, right!? Once again…was it even a Hunter to begin with? Hunters didn’t go down that easily…Maybe it was…an illusion. Did she just get her a** handed to her by a piece of glass?
Ugh.
The ghoul just let herself fall to the ground on her bottom, reclining on her hands. She’d wait for Mitsu and Sabine to come out…hopefully they would.

"H..Hel?" The ghoul was suddenly no where to be seen. Where had she gone. "S..Sabine?" The lycan looked over to the vampire noting the broken nails and worse for wear appearance......
Backing up from the mirror she had been standing in front of only to back into another. Turning she faced the Mirror of Aporia and stared at her odd reflection. It was her but her ears were gone and it seemed her tail was missing too but along her back....were those wings? Was she a horseman? The clothing looked similar to what the horseman wore here on Death Isle, dark with decorative jewelry pieces.
Mitsu was stunned enough she didn't move as the horseman version of herself stepped passed the confines of the mirror and began to attack. It was apparently from the moment they struck they were much more powerful than Mitsu was in her current state. The blow looked light but had been anything but sending Mitsu staggering back and to the floor.

Mitsu shuffled back the best she could using her hands to pull herself and her feet to kick. She hadn't been prepared for a battle when she entered this room and Shun would probably be disappointed to see her in this state of panic when he had gone to such lengths to train her. Who would have known she would be fighting herself though...multiples of herself.

The horseman came in for one more powerful blow knocking the lycan into the floor with such force she was certain the ground was giving away beneath her. In a meager attempt to fight back Mitsu lashed out at the horseman version of herself and found her hand going through a fine mist as the creature dissolved to nothing. Mitsu wasn't certain what happened but she quickly staggered to her feet looking and feeling a little worse for wear.
"M..Maybe we should go?" She looked to Sabine and then around the room again to see if she could spot Hel. "I need to find Hel..." Stiffly the lycan followed her steps to make her way back out of the room looking back to see if Sabine was following or not before she focused on searching for Hel.
"Hel?" She was worried when she didn't see her at first, her eyes widening in alarm as she quickened her step unsure where the ghoul would go if she dissipated. Did they have a nurse here or a fear clinic? "Hel?!" Relief only found her when she made her way through the entrance to find Hel sitting on the floor. She was quick to move toward her kneeling to see if she was okay.

Stalking, ok it was more like pained wobbling, after the Lycan, Sabine emerged after her and gave Hel a quick look. Hands on her hips, she glared back toward where the chamber used to be, "Yeah, let's rocket, freakas. This place is nowhere near what I read in the brochure."
