xXbelovedXxx Barrett Jaeger I'm very creative and have an understanding of the English language and literacy in general that is beyond what most other people in my age group can even comprehend (according to quite a few of my past English teachers). By way of a mental evaluation test administered by a specialist who, for reasons unknown to me, was called in to my last school (the high school I graduated from) I have found out that my level of intelligence is, to quote the man, "in the mid-to-high ranges of genius".Aside from that, I'm mostly used as muscle for moving things. In contrasts, though, I'm fairly lazy and very unmotivated. I'm also a bit overweight, although I'm correcting that much. My talent is editing works of literature. I don't mean to point you out, but quotes go after the punctuation. Not necessarily. It depends on whether you are using the punctuation logically or conventionally (the latter being the rule which you pointed out, which is only used in America). I was using it logically, which dictates that if the punctuation doesn't belong to the quote itself, but instead governs the sentence as a whole, it should be placed outside of the quotation marks.

xXbelovedXxx Then I suppose I'm talentless. Nah, you just assumed I was using the American version. I am American, and live in America, but I don't use that style. I suppose I'll suffer for it later on, but I like to be proper, and when it comes to English, what can be more so than the country it originated in?

I can draw decently, but I'm more of a writer. I especially like developing characters - that has to be my absolute favorite part, because it's like you're making up a person.
...I am SUCH a nerd. xD

I guess I'm a pretty good writer, especially with creative writing. I'm also a pretty good artist.

I've been told I'm a very good writer, well above my grade level. I hate grammar mistakes but I'm too lazy to read over my own work for them. I'm in the "gifted" category in academics all around. Apparently that's all of us kids that sit on our lazy butts all day and never study but get perfect scores anyway... We get more work for it so I consider this talent useless to me. I'm told I'm creative... But I'm only creative on my own terms, when I want to be... Um... What else... I play the *says in snotty voice* Viola. *glares* Yes it is different from the violin and if you pronounce it wrong I will kick your face scream stressed I'm told that I'm really good at drawing but I only think it's when I put effort into it. My best skill, I think, is holding in information. I wont remember what my friend told me five minutes ago but, for some reason, I can remember what my teacher told me in fourth grade when I'm taking a test.
And I tend to ramble... But you knew that...

I can use my throat to make a clicking noise that sounds like a bubble wrap being popped.
I can fit myself in a suitcase biggrin . (Which is more of an ability)
I can write short stories, sort of.
And I can beat every quest in Skyrim in about 75 hours (Except ones where I have to pick sides) . Proof that I have no life >.<

Amen. That particular quirk of punctuation has always irked me.

I'm good at screwing up practically everything I try to cook, bake, etc. one way or another. I also am really good at reading, I can draw (i'm not da vinci, though- far from it), making really odd faces, the cello, rp'ing, and being one sexy beast. i regret nothing.

My talent is taking stuff and making it awkward. Is that a talent? Jk. A lot of people say I'm talented at different things: my band director says I was made for Horn, My English teacher thinks I'm a talented critic, but my biggest talent is singing. I've been doing it ever since I could talk.
